@childe Riko eyes at the young man suspiciously as he averted the topic about his occupation. "Nope, I'm still schooling," Riko replies casually, staring up at the azure blue sky. "I'm studying International Business in college," Riko says with a small smile. "This neighbourhood seems nice," Riko muses softly, "It is tranquil and quiet, just how I like it," Riko says gently. "You mentioned that you were heading to your favourite place to see the clouds? May I join?" Riko asks cautiously. She didn't want to intrude in the young male's personal space if he didn't want her to join.
@riko amanai Childe squinted slightly at her teasing. She did always enjoy teasing him, which he never did mind honestly. He found it funny, most of the time. "Kind of." He teased back. "Oh really? Nice! How are you liking it so far?" He looked around with a smile. "This is a good place for that. It's so peaceful here..." He hesitated to answer. "Oh... No... I uh... Dropped out. Got bored." He answered sheepishly. "So yeah... I do work now... Uh... At the bar." He hummed softly, kicking a small stone. "What about you? You have a job?"
@childe Riko smiled at the young man who was shuffling awkwardly in front of her. "Why're you acting so awkwardly? Seen a ghost?" Riko teased the young man with a small grin. "I actually just moved here," Riko says to the young man, "I'm simply taking a stroll. You mentioned it's your day off? Are you still a student? Or are you working now?" Riko asks the older man curiously. It has been so long since they met. Riko has virtually no idea of the stage of life Childe is at presently.
Childe swallowed when he heard his name come from the woman. "It's me..." He said shyly, giving a tiny wave. He's not seen Riko in so long that he's really forgotten how to talk to her. "I uh... It's a day off for me... So... I'm on my way to my favorite patch of grass to watch the clouds..." The answer wasn't false, he really was on his way there. "What are you doing here? It's been so long... I guess I'm just... Surprised to see you again." He didn't hate her, he still loved her just not in the way he used to. More platonic than anything else.
@childe Riko hears her name being called and turns around. Her eyes fell upon a boy with fluffy tangerine hair. It couldn't be anyone else. "C...Childe..?" Riko stares at the young man in surprise. It was indeed him. Her ex... Childe. She tilts her head in wonder. "What're you doing here?" Riko asks the older man curiously. The two didn't break up in particularly bad terms, but well, it was indeed awkward to meet up again after such a long time of not seeing each other.
()for the sake of this rp let's take it that Riko Amanai is twenty instead of 22 years old!
@riko amanai Childe hummed softly as he made his way to the park. Planning to find a nice, quiet grassy area to lay down in and watch the clouds. It was one of his three days off and he didn't feel like doing anything. As he was walking he spotted someone who seemed familiar, though he hadn't seen her face yet. It was the way she walked more than anything else. "Uh... Riko?" He called out, but not too loud. He didn't want to embarrass himself if it wasn't her.
