Our lore is heavily inspired by a variety of folklore, religious texts, and vampire themed novels. You do NOT need any prior knowledge or context of such things in order to understand our lore and craft characters that will fit in our universe. Please be sure to keep this lore and information in mind when creating your characters and backgrounds.

chapter 1: lilith.

Lilith was the first wife of God's human creation Adam. Life together in the Garden of Eden was seemingly perfect at first... That was until tensions grew and Adam's greed took control. He was bossy, demanding, constantly telling Lilith what she was or was not allowed to do. After refusing to be subservient to Adam any longer, she was cast out of Eden and left to fend for herself all alone on Earth. She was starved, dehydrated, and on the brink of death as she roamed the desert dunes without any help from God.

At her lowest point, struggling to cling onto the last bits of life she had left, she prayed once more to be saved from near death if any benevolent being above had the heart to listen. Even amidst her skeptical withering faith, Lilith's prayers were answered by none other than the Archangel Samael who took pity upon her. Samael was the guardian savior who wrapped his perfect white wings around her body and used his Heavenly powers to heal her wounds.

However, Adam learning of their new bond grew jealous and reported back to God that the two had begun a sinful affair. With God's disproval He punished them both, leading Samael to become fallen while Lilith was cursed with an eternal animalistic need for the human life she could no longer have.

chapter 2: akasha.

Outcasted from Heaven, shunned from Eden, and shamed as sinners by God-fearing humanity they had no other place to seek refuge but the Underworld. Lilith and Samael travelled down to Hell hand in hand, soon taking over control as they claimed the throne and ruled together. For some time the realms of Heaven and Hell were independent, no need for petty feuds or wars, Lilith and Samael left to run their Kingdom however they saw fit.

That was until God's very own golden boy of the angels, Lucifer, was cursed by their creator for daring to question the fairness of Heaven's rules. Lucifer began to rally other angels in secret and soon came to Hell asking for help to overthrow God. They could all escape the clutches of His tyrant rule and create a new realm without hypocritical rules. Lilith and Samael agreed as they still held a grudge for how they were wronged, joining Lucifer's cause with an army of demons at their sides.

Amidst the war between Heaven and Hell, humanity was dragged into the crossfire. God then sent his latest daughter Akasha with the power of the Sun to destroy those who conspired against him Whether from Heaven, Hell, or Earth. Her battle to purge humanity of sin and kill demons turned into a brutal rampage as she could not quench her bloodlust, nearly destroying all who dared cross her war path.

Lilith and Samael knew they could no longer finish the fight they starter without sacrificing their people. Lilith called a truce and convinced Akasha to spare humanity in return for endless riches and eternal life as a vampyre. Greed had long taken over as God's daughter agreed, Lilith then sharing her blood to grant her enemy demonic powers. Under Lilith and Samael's treaty agreement, they crowned Akasha "Queen of the Damned" who would rule over all vampyres and dhampyrs on Earth.

Satisfied with her new status, Akasha abandoned Heaven and made her grand palace in the dark Earthly kingdom of Babylonia. There sin would soon flourish as all creatures alike would flock to relish in their desires.

chapter 3: vlad.

As the vampyre population grew over time and were led by Akasha, they created their kingdom in secrecy with new laws and order to protect their species from harm as well as maintaining human life so they could feed for generations to come. Soon the vampyres were able to hide in plain sight and blend in with humanity, preying in the night while many humans were led to believe that bloodsucking creatures were nothing more than country folktales and myths of old.

Meanwhile in the human world, tensions began to boil to a harsh peak between Wallachia and the ruthless Turkish Empire. King Vlad III Drăculea of Wallachia had long held a grudge against the Turks who had bullied, slaughtered, demanded constant monetary payment, and frequently took thousands of young Wallachian children as "tribute" to become Turkish soldiers. Finally the King refused to pay any longer, using merciless torture methods to send a message as he instigated the Turks to attack Wallachia.

After decades of nonstop bloody war and close calls, ultimately Vlad was captured and about to be executed by the Turks. In his desperation to win he reached out to the Queen of the Damned and proposed an alliance; If she provided her immense vampiric powers to help him defeat his enemies, he would become a vessel for her destructive need to control. Akasha, impressed by the many tales of Vlad's achievements in war, she agreed to save him. The Queen found him where he was being held and freed the mortal from capture, quickly turning him into an immortal bloodthirsty beast with her own blood.

Newly invigorated with the power of the vampyre, Vlad went on to win back independence for Wallachia from the Turkish Empire and ruled over his kingdom peacefully. Yet he soon disappeared into obscurity once humans began to notice his unnatural power and youth, forced to fake his death and take on new identities with each new generation. Despite humanity believing the original Vlad the Impaler had long died, he was secretly living part of nobility and crafting a plan under Akasha's tutelage to slowly conqueor the world on her behalf. One nation at a time.

With Akasha and Lilith's support, humanity to this day does not yet realize the sinful invasion of the vampiric race slowly consuming Earth . . .
