One day, unexpectedly, the clock will strike and depict the time that you have to part ways with the person that you have constantly held as your, well, constant. It will not break your heart, no, hearts do not break, it rips. It will tear you apart, it will leave a blackhole that will devour every ray of light that will attempt to shine through.

Taking and taking everything, but it is only emptiness that exists, just like emptiness that is in my chest.

This emptiness can mean that I have nothing left, that I have lost it all, that I am incomplete. However, does not this emptiness mean that I can start anew? Gain what I deserve, and be complete once again?

Liar is what I am if I say that this will be easy.
Not at all.
The stars hold onto the familiarity, what used to be, the very object of affection that used to occupy this void– my heart.


But these letdowns, these fallouts, it is going to make me complete.

Slowly, little by little, I know my dreams and hopes will come into being. Day by day, as the sun tries to reach this darkness, it might not be today, it might take an eternity, but I know, it will shine through. The light will illuminate the love I have been missing out on, the hands that were desperately reaching out for me.

When I am ready, I will seize it all. I will accept it all. I will let it fill this deepest void.
