@Iris Reed Rome was cooking in the kitchen when a waiter walked up to him, and told him about the girl that had walked in she was starving, and judging by the way she acted, she might have not have enough money to eat. The elder frown a bit he never wanted anyone to leave his restaurant hungry. He asked the waiter to keep taking orders, then he prepared a food, as he walked to the table;

"Hey my name is Rome...I am the owner of this establishment" he spoke gently.

He slowly put the muffin, the coffee, a peach tea and a plate of chicken pasta for the young girl "Don't worry its on the house" he smile softly. Then he walked around asking customers how they were doing, he always took care of others, especially does that were hungry. No one should be hungry in his eyes, so he tried to always help the humans if they needed it.

@[SH] Rome Zeus - 11/02 Iris held her tummy when she took a whiff of fresh brewed coffee and baked goodies nearby. The restaurant already serving customers and some wearing smile on their faces. The sky dark and the breeze cold. “Just my luck.” Iris said when something wet touched her face. She turned on her heels and quickly sneaked inside the tavern.

The aroma of delicious food taunting when she paused to realise that she must buy something to seek shelter from the pending storm outside. Quietly, she reached for her purse inside her jacket and cowered counting how much was inside. Her face warm as she swallowed the embarrassment surging inside.

“Dining in?” Said a woman in uniform.

“Uh..well.” She hides the purse behind her and nodded. “Yes. Just for one.” She was ushered a table near the window which is a relief. The last thing she needed is attention. She browsed through the menu and the comfort she felt a second ago turned sour. The price of food is reasonable but she could only buy herself a cup of coffee and a muffin Not that she didn’t earn enough this time. Her family is waiting for her return so they can be feed. Every dollar is precious. The woman returned asking “what can I get you?”

“Oh..your home brewed coffee and a muffin.” Iris said followed by a growling stomach.

“Is that all?” The woman asked, a brow raised. But Iris grinned, trying to be confident. The woman left and Iris wished that a cup of coffee and muffin would suffice till she gets home.

@Iris Reed Rome had woken up early that day, he had so much to do before opening the restaurant. He though for a brief moment of the menu. He always like changing the menu since it kept business coming up. Today he went with a simple menu and cheap one for those that come by it was easier to keep customers that way.

He went to the market grabbed a bunch of ingredients then he walked to the restaurant meeting his other chef and waiters. They spoke of the menu for a bit then they went to cook, since it had been raining and groggy they went with Clam Showder, Fried Fish with mash potatoes and their famous sea food soup. In the dessert they had strawberry cake and chocolate cake. Every tea and coffee was available for everyone just in case.

They notice ti was cloudy, so they didn't put the seats outside only inside sitting was available. They open the restaurant as Rome started to cook I'm the back hopeful that there would be no drama in his restaurant today.

@[SH] Rome Zeus - 11/02 There she is strutting around town searching for a way to earn money to feed her family. Venturing off the sea to catch fishes and other sea creatures has become obsolete. Word in town, mythical creatures are causing the troubles in Cove. Should she believe this? Iris didn’t think twice. Her father returned home completely different. This new situation left her mother almost at the verge of surrendering in life. Her sisters, too young to understand.

“Ugh. I wish this would go away.” She groaned, massaging the back of her neck hoping that would ease the knotting pain. “You need rest Iris. Hunting season is not till the next full moon.” A man placed a hand on her shoulder. The wrinkles across the man’s forehead more evident now that he is frowning. Iris slightly smiled and nodded. “I will. Don’t you worry.”

The man sighed “Alright. I’ll be on my way now. Come by if you have time. My wife would love to have you and your sisters for dinner.” Iris gave a thumbs up and waved goodbye as the man left her there. She looked around and saw the tavern. Her stomach growled. “When is the last time I ate?”

@Keroki Thalassia “It brightens the day, that’s for sure.” Ambrose nodded, a warm smile playing on his lips as they chattered. “Exactly like that, actually,” he bore his teeth in a grin, laughing faintly, “I certainly hope it wins some favour. Or perhaps I’m just a danger to all my fellow mortals? It’s open to interpretation, depending on who you ask, I suppose.” Shaking his head, he moved away momentarily, just to pull a warm cloth from a neat box to run over the counter - finding, more often than not, that he needed to keep his hands busy. “It was at first. But I suppose I’ve gotten used to it some? There are people who I’ve seen here for years - I know nearly as much as family must about them, if not more, and they likely couldn’t give me my name if I asked for it. I’m grateful though, having someone that remembers would be quite lovely. I’ll remember you as well Keroki.”

@Ambrose Wynne She grinned wider as he agreed and nodded. “Exactly! Like I imagine that when you have no patrons in here the day would drag so much, and it’s like that when I finish all my orders, although I can just come here to spend my time and money instead.” she laughed as she spoke before shaking her head. Then as he shook her hand she couldn’t help but notice the band on his arm, her eyes locking onto it and lingering on it for a few moments more than she should have been comfortable with before shaking his head a little faster to pull herself away from the band.
“Ambrose? Like Ambrosia by any chance? With a name like that the gods must favour you.” she chuckled as she spoke. “It must be a little frustrating though, meeting everyone and having so few know you. I’ll try to remember it though!”

@Keroki Thalassia The delight of his customers was one of the grandest things which stopped him from taking a nose dive into the sea if he was unfortunate enough to have a bad experience with a patron. And it made it worth it now, as he settled with his arms folded on the bar's counter, head tilted very lightly to the side to show his engagement in what she had to share with him. "I can imagine you would be - if you've not got a lot to fill your day with it can really drag it out sometimes." Taking the hand offered, he gave it a light, careful almost shake, his eyes absently falling to the dangling parts of the bracelet. He made no comment, of course, it would be rude to, but after letting go propped his cheek on his fist straight up, letting his loose sleeve fall down to show the neatly bejewelled band around his forearm. "Ambrose. Ambrose Wynne, it's not surprising that you wouldn't - people usually don't take much of an interest who the person is giving them the drinks, and if they do - well, if they have a good enough time, they forget names quite easily."

@Ambrose Wynne She couldn’t help but grin in response to the man’s faint smile before smiling even wider as he mentioned the possibility of some more of the cider being in stock. “Really?” she beamed, watching after him as he disappeared to get things together.
“Thank you very much.” she took a long sip of the cider before nodding happily. “It’s been an easy day. I dye fabrics for the local tailor and while it can take a while to do, he had no new requests so today was just a case of washing and drying the previous requests and delivering them to him, which didn’t really take all that long. But then I was obviously bored out of my mind, hence coming here!” she grinned as she spoke before shaking her head. “Maybe later but not just yet… How has your day gone so far, Mr…” she paused before frowning. “I don’t think I’ve ever heard your name before… I’m Keroki.” she introduced herself before extending her hand as a greeting, her thin silver bracelet with the pearl charm on it mostly tucked away under her sleeve, although some parts of the delicate chain were falling out from its hiding place as she did so.

@Keroki Thalassia So early in the day, when the sun wasn’t yet sinking into milky skies, the tavern was thankfully not too loud. He couldn’t complain, of course - not empty, but not over spilling. He found the balance usually struck true late in the evening, but this would do just fine. It was too early for people to get rowdy, and with any luck, he’d be long gone with some coins in his pocket by the time that occurred. As the young woman approached, he smiled a faint greeting. She was familiar - a name didn’t quite leap to mind, but he’d never been particularly good at them. They’d probably spoken more often in passing when there was stories being told and the excitement stole away memory. “Well… I must admit, they’re popular, the supplies are running a little low,” he leaned in slightly, conspiratorial, and smiled, “but for a loyal patron, I’ll see what I can do.” With a sweep of his long sleeves he went to find both a tankard and the barrel of the drink in question, to return soon after and place it on the bar’s clean wooden counter proudly. “There. Now, how has the day treated you? It seems quite early to end up here, will we be fixing you a meal too?”
Keroki Thalassia [A] 11 months ago
@Ambrose Wynne It was mid afternoon and Keroki had delivered her latest dyed cloth to the tailor already and had been left with nothing else to do. Being a sociable creature, she craved attention and people, and with it being mid-afternoon many were still working, unwilling to allow the young woman to distract them, and so Keroki had ended up walking into the tavern.
She glanced around, frowning to herself slightly as she realised just how quiet it was today and she couldn’t help but shake her head before approaching the bar, hands clasped in front of her and resting on the polished wood as she spoke up in a chipper tone.
“Last week I believe you had some sweet ciders in and they were really good… You don’t happen to have any this week?” she questioned, tilting her head with a bright smile upon her face as she looked the bartender up and down a few times.
