@ᴘᴀʀᴋ ᴊɪɴʏᴏᴜɴɢ ʷᵉʳᵉʷᵒˡᶠ the arboreal viper smiled at you heart swelling in adoration as you fuss over him. taking your hand to give a gentle squeeze, he presses his forehead against your knuckles in reassurance. "i will. i promise." pavel smiled before he moved to step away. looking around the church walls and the surrounding. and for a while. he thought he found nothing--until the viper closed his eyes and took notice of a heat signature in the sky, leading to the church's rafters. bats. if bats could find a way inside, pavel could as well. after a while of making a quick assessment of his surroundings, the viper returned to you. slipping off the cat ears before he began taking off his clothes as well. "there is an opening on the roof somewhere, and a tree that i can climb to reach it. hold on to these for me please, baby?"
@ᴘᴀᴠᴇʟ ᴘʜᴏᴏᴍ ᵛᶦᵖᵉʳ as you move to adventure forth, as you move to just be a few feet away from him, fear quickly overwhelms his senses, and he hurriedly moves through the natural debris, taking your hand from behind as a method of reassurance. “b-be careful, please…”
@ᴘᴀʀᴋ ᴊɪɴʏᴏᴜɴɢ ʷᵉʳᵉʷᵒˡᶠ there was certainly a problem if the lights of the church were all off--could they have boarded the doors? locked it so no soul, mortal, hybrid, or not, could enter in the house of god? pavel bit back a small laugh before he glanced iver rhe church. "let me go around and see if there is a back way in?"
@ᴘᴀᴠᴇʟ ᴘʜᴏᴏᴍ ᵛᶦᵖᵉʳ “pavel,” he says in a whisper, glancing over his shoulder to look at you properly. “i think we’re here. but the lights are all off.” he has a concerned look across his face, trying to peek inside through the stained glass windows, trying not to catch the line of sight from anyone possibly inside. “do you, um, have any ideas?”
@ᴅᴀᴄʀᴇ ᴍᴏɴᴛɢᴏᴍᴇʀʏ ʷᵉʳᵉʷᵒˡᶠ Sunggyu normally didn't like venturing out in the cold for anything, but he had run out of wine at home and felt justified enough to run down to the convenience store to procure a cheap bottle. He tried to walk as fast as possible but the cold still seeped deep into his aching bones even though he was bundled up in a thick jacket over his sweater and had the wherewithal to wear gloves, too. It was because of his mission - his single-minded determination for a warm belly full of wine - that he didn't notice the man coming out from the church. The collision sent Sunggyu slipping across the icy sidewalk, but he managed to catch himself and turned toward the stranger. If it had been anyone he knew, he might have cursed them out, but Sunggyu was - thankfully for Dacre - fiercely polite to people he didn't know well.
"It's okay." Sunggyu assured him and held up his gloved hands placatingly, a smile half hidden behind his scarf at the man's accent. He dipped into a full, respectful bow before straightening back up. "Do you speak Korean?"
maybe if you coerced me enough-
the second you pulled away, he lets out a deep exhale, now waiting for his heart to calm back down.
wha- no-!
the response was too quick, too loud, and he knew it was far from believable. god, he felt like a fumbling teenager at times and you were usually to blame.
i just ... like looking at the stained glass windows-
would that good deed cleanse whatever sin you're gonna have me commit?
his voice comes out soft, as if afraid that his words might echo in the large room, as if something holy was really watching them. the touch to his thighs seemed to mess with his focus, unsure if he should pay attention to you or the growing feeling of fluster.
he's too quick to nod and for a second, he can't help but regret the immediate response, feeling like nothing more than a dumb dog. though, it's hard to dwell on the feeling for long once your hands tease against his thighs, swallowing hard as he tenses up.
are you allowed to .. get it dirty like that..?
he's holding his breath now, frozen under the light touch as his eyes search yours for the hint of a tease, ignoring the way his ears grow warm from the lack of distance.
we could ... get in trouble ...
his words are soft, as if he himself doesn't really believe every lame excuse he tries to come up.
he almost lets his gaze flicker to your lips but catches himself, wanting to win this silent eye contact battle he had made up in his head.
