I have been doing everything I can to raise them as best as I could, keep them healthy and at a safe weight but I always feel that I seem to be lacking in some sort of way. Something to be able to communicate with his other friends that roamed in the city. Humming as he walked towards the cafe, rubbing the back of his neck. . It felt tense. Baekhyun looked at his watch. He was still early somehow. Traveling all the way to the city was a pain in itself. Maybe he should move here? Shaking his head at his own silly thoughts. "Can't." Baekhyun made his way inside, looking over the menu, his lower lip. Megan's own order ingrained into his mind. Caramel Macchiato, three espresso shots, and a sandwich on the side. Making his way towards the cashier, he orders what they were going to have. "To eat in." Winking at the petite male, paying for everything. Heading towards one of the open booths, wanting their own privacy. Something was bothering Megan and he'd be damned to let her self destruct.

Removing his beige coat, he sets it down. "Wonder what's on her mind." Rolling his sleeves up, looking at his adornments of tattoos, one representing his clan, one in specific. His great grandfathers earned markings, a tribute to him in a sense. "Hah... Would I really make it here?" He wondered about the endless possibilities. Hearing his order being called, he went over to get the tray and brought it to his table. "Most likely she will take my chicken alfredo...." Mumbling to himself before sitting down and brushing his hair back. "Now to wait."

@kim matthew ✹ Chan hadn't been thinking. His body had just moved of its own accord, driven by the anxious twist in his gut as he watched Matthew panic. He knew how hard it was for him with the hearing and language barrier, so he'd always helped to be that bridge as the man lost more and more of his hearing over the years. That wasn't his place anymore, but he couldn't stand by and watch him suffering.

He almost missed the signs because he'd been so fixated on Matt's face, but thankfully he knew what the other liked. Catching up with the rest of what he wanted, he nodded and was about to move up to tell the cashier the order when Matthew insisted to pay. It was the introduction that stunned him more than the gesture, though. , what did he even say? Over the years he'd gained a number of fake identities, but he couldn't stand the idea of anything but his name on Matthew's lips. Even if it might as well have been the name of a stranger to him.

'Chan.' He quickly finger spelled his name. 'My name is Chan.'

Perhaps he was being a bit short, but his hands were shaking so badly now that the reality of what he was doing set in. He quickly took the card, added his drink to the order, and paid for everything for the sake of now having to convince Matthew to give up on the chivalrous act. When he went to hand the card back, though, he noticed the alpha seemed pained and Chan's brows furrowed in worry.

'Not really. I'm tough.' Chan signed in reply and gave a playful flex before moving to stand off to the side while they waited for the order. 'You had a bad morning? What happened?'

But when he signed to him his eyes went wide and he couldn’t help the smile on his face. He honestly couldn’t remember the last time someone had signed for him which made him very happy. ‘Oh wow…uh yeah.’ He looked to the menu before turning back to Chan with a soft smile. ‘The caramel frappe plus a banana nut muffin and cookie on the side please.’ At this, he took out his card before he held it out to him and smiled a little warmly.

‘Since you are helping me then let me pay for this okay? Also, my name is Matthew, what is yours?’ The more he looked at him, the more his heart seemed to feel funny which made him wonder if they had met. But the man wasn't acting like he knew him so maybe it was just him feeling thankful that someone was talking to him.

Matthew watched him a bit, the feeling coming back which made his head hurt a bit. He shook his head and massaged his temple as he tried to make the pain go away. When he saw that the other was looking at him he just smiled softly and began to sign at him. ‘I am alright just had a bit of a bad morning so it was giving me a headache. I wanted to come here to make it go away and usually, some good sweet treats help me. What about you? How do you deal with headaches?’
