@jung sungchan。 warm sunlight hugs wonbin's figure as he leaned further into the wooden fencing behind him, tilting his head back to let the light hit his face, a glowing rim of orange tracing every edge and curve.

his eyes were closed, and his lips were curled up in a small smile. the wind blew gently at his hair, the ruffled strands tickling his face as the breeze swept them back and forth.

wonbin held his pose just a second longer after hearing the shutter, shoulders relaxing once more as he watched sungchan wave the photo around, bounding over to him in light hops.

a soft noise of satisfaction leaves the younger's lips at the image of him standing against a sky of distant colors. his hair was slightly messy, yet caught at the moment where it had gently thinned out over his forehead before curling into subtle waves down the side of his face.

he wonders, in that short while they had admired the photo, if the other would keep it for himself. but all other thoughts quickly dissipate as the sheer joy on sungchan's face distracts him, and wonbin has to keep himself from reaching up and cupping his lover's face in his hands.

"hmm, should we take one together?"

@park wonbin。 he knew wonbin wanted the same as he did when the younger male looked at him almost a little restlessly. he would kiss him again, but the golden rays of the sky was leaking away as they spoke. they'll have plenty of time to kiss once they set up their tent anyway. so, he only smiled at wonbin, jutting his lips out to send a flying kiss his way as he basked in the warmth of being in such close proximity with his lover.

sungchan allowed his eyes to fall shut briefly when wonbin's face drew closer to his neck, and he sneaked a kiss into soft tufts of his hair as warm breath fanned against his skin. he almost wanted to pout and chase after the other when he pulled away, but he remembered his own offer to take pictures and rummaged through the pockets of his coat for the camera.

"we can go shopping for it together?" sungchan offered as he raised the camera to eye level, smiling widely at wonbin as he gestured for him to pose. "i'm not... the craftiest guy, but we can also... maybe, y'know, decorate one together?

"the flash is on, by the way! this one... this one's for me..." the flash set off as sungchan's words fade into a mumble meant more for himself than anyone, clicking at the shutter to capture the moment.

"emm, sure! but, let's see first." he then plucked the photo from the top of the camera, flicking it a few times as it developed before he held it up to his face.

"oh, it turned out well!" he turned the polaroid to wonbin, grinning like a proud dad at the other. "let's take one more!"

@jung sungchan。 a newfound warmth spreads throughout wonbin's body like a mild shock of electricity, courtesy of sungchan's lips meeting his for just a brief moment. he resists the urge to whine at him and ask for one more, suddenly wary of the curious pairs of eyes currently staring holes into his head. even as an idol, it wasn't exactly the kind of attention he was used to, and he shies away a little, face buried in the crook of the other's neck.

and for a short while, they remain that way, with wonbin momentarily forgetting the view in favor of melting into the other's arms. if only time allowed him, he would have chosen to stay nuzzled there for god knows how long. but that sunset behind him wasn't going to last forever, and the summit was only going to get colder once night settled in.

begrudgingly, wonbin pulls away, the icy wind immediately biting at his heated skin. he nods and hums in reply as his arms dropped back to his sides, hands retracting into the sleeves of his coat for dear warmth. "mm, remind me to buy us an album... or maybe a small journal at some point, too. i've always wanted to have a little book of memories."

he was unexpectedly sentimental about a lot of things, and moments like these were no different. "let's take a few, i wanna keep one behind my phone."

wonbin waddled backwards slightly to give sungchan enough space to pull out the camera, pressing his back against the wooden railing as he waited, feeling the chill of its surface seeping through his padded jacket.

@park wonbin。 wonbin's laughter made sungchan smile even wider, gladly opening up his arms to envelop the former into his arms. the coldness up here at the peak was still bearable as the sun was still up, but sungchan couldn't find it in him to not stick close to the smaller male.

sungchan simply rested his hands on both sides of wonbin's hips, looking down to meet his gaze instead of staring at the yolky sun spreading its contents across the sky. the sunset was a sight to behold, but wonbin's beauty trumped it by a mile and then some.

"prettier than the sunset," he affirmed, eyes scanning the other's face from up close—from his sparkling eyes to his pink, plump lips. even in such conditions, his lover looked like he was stage-ready beautiful.

there was only one thought in his mind at that moment that he really needed to do. so, he looked around, scanning the people around them before one hand on his waist came up to cup the other's face, and he was leaning in to quickly capture his lover's lips in a kiss. short, but sweet nonetheless.

he then hummed softly, hands falling back into position and relaxing into wonbin's hold as he nuzzled into raven locks. "i couldn't agree more. this feels nice. i'm glad we came up here together."

after a short pause of just basking in the setting sun and his lover's warm embrace, sungchan kissed the shorter male's temple and pulled back a little.

"you wanna take a picture with the sunset? i brought the polaroid camera with me."

@jung sungchan。 wonbin responds with a playful roll of his eyes, pink blooming on his cheeks despite already having known what the next line would be. he chuckles, the sound light and airy, a cloud of white forming as his warm breath met the cold air. he feels his fingertips turning icy as the moments pass, curses himself silently for forgetting gloves, before moving from sungchan's side to nuzzle himself into his front instead.

"prettier than the sunset?" he asks jokingly, arms finding their way around the taller's middle as he practically buried himself under the other's coat. the warmth is immediate, and wonbin finds himself breathing another sigh of content as he craned his neck up to look at sungchan's face in all its sunkissed glory. he pouts a little, resisting the urge to pull the other down and kiss him.

after all, they weren't the only ones there wanting to see the sunset. although at this point, wonbin was convinced sungchan's eyes were focused on something else entirely.

"hmm, we should probably do this more often," he suggests, turning his head to rest his cheek against the other's shoulder. "anywhere feels nice when i'm with you."

@park wonbin。 sungchan doesn't remember where the idea to embark on the trail up the mountain began. he liked going outdoors a lot, but wonbin... it was a wonder that his usually housebound boyfriend had decided to grace him with his presence outdoors, but to come all the way to the top of the mountain with him was a pleasant surprise to the tall man.

he gladly entwines their fingers as wonbin offered, smiling at the latter as he cuddled close to him. as much as he worked out, the trail wasn't the easiest climb and was enough to have them both panting and sweating heavily by the end of it. despite the sweat, sungchan still leans in to peck wonbin on his cheek, happy to have made this climb with his lover.

sungchan lets wonbin lead him towards the deck, setting his stuff down beside the other's. he sniffles a little from the cold air enveloping them, as he had been doing for the last leg of the climb earlier, sighing in sweet relief as he looked around them. life in the city is great, but the sight atop the mountains are otherworldly breathtaking.

at wonbin's words, sungchan hums in agreement.

"you know what else is pretty?" sungchan chimes in as he bumps his body into wonbin's, a cheeky smile spreading throughout his face before he continues, "you are."

@jung sungchan。 the winding path towards the peak was undeniably beautiful, as tired as wonbin may be at the very moment. the hike had gradually eased into flatter terrain towards the summit, replaced by a narrower, much smoother dirt trail that led all the way to a viewing deck at the end of its path.

it was almost sunset by the time they arrived, and wonbin gives into the sudden urge to reach for sungchan's hand, nuzzling himself as far as he could into his lover's side as the wind picked up a little more. the air was noticeably colder, to a point that breathing made his lungs burn with the effort to keep the rest of him warm.

ignoring the chill, however, wonbin pulls sungchan along with him, finding a more isolated part of the viewdeck to watch the sunset from. he lets out a tiny noise of relief as he sets his camping bag down, letting his shoulders rest for a short moment. "god, it really is so pretty up here, isn't it?" he exhales contentedly, eyes reflecting all the colors in the sky.
