There's no denying it– Yuqi at schoolwork. She's about to fail out of college with a few academic probations already under her belt. So her solution is to send out a mass email to the school in search of a private tutor. You accept the position, thinking it would be like any other tutor job. However, academics just go through one ear and out the other for Yuqi. You can't comprehend why she's able to memorize all the components of a car and their functions, but unable to remember anything taught in class. Maybe it's time to get creative with your lessons.

there was a time you were gravely ill or in a horrible accident, causing you to be admitted to the hospital. you ended up being placed in the same ward room with noze, the both of you unaware and unconscious, as at the time you were both on life support. you came off life support first and regained consciousness, but the grim thought that life is short was always reminded to you, as you could overhear how jihye struggled to get better, between the thin curtain that separated the space in between your beds. for weeks, you saw how she had nobody visiting her, nobody to bring her cards or flowers, or hold her open hand. it was the first time you ever prayed for a stranger's well being. someone listened, as jihye woke up a few days later. but she was ungrateful for life, for surviving. you'd pretend to be asleep, but you'd hear the screams and the commotion, how the nurses would all rush in to restrain her from pulling out her iv lines, prevent her from getting out of the bed and standing on her paralyzed legs. how she'd quietly cry herself to sleep, thinking you weren't aware. how she would refuse to be helped, how she would push anyone and everyone whom cared for her in the slightest. you were discharged from the hospital before she was, and always wondered how she fared and turned out.

years later, you run into her by chance, and instantly recognize her. and though you've seen it all, some things never change. she's still the same, pushing away anyone that's genuinely good for her. but you know why she's like that, because you were there, during the lowest point of her life. you know just how to approach her, just what to say. you know, but she doesn't know you. you're a stranger, but one that she strangely feels close to.

it all started out with jun trying to get with her. he thought he was being obvious. he was acting the same he usually did, and it always had worked out. but this girl not seem to realize his intentions, nor did he realize that she didn't. she thought he was just bring friendly and hence kept letting him play his cards, while he was rather sure she knew what he wanted and was just playing hard to get. a good deal of miscommunication and they were playing different games. when he finally tries to make a move on her she finally realizes what was really happening. she was not really interested and eventually it became obvious that the chemistry was not really there either. he should've felt rejected, usually he'd even feel offended, but for once, their situation felt almost comical and he couldn't bring himself to be hung up on it. amidst laughs and apologies, they ended up developing a much better friendship than any other type of relationship would ever have worked out between them. for once he's glad it didn't work out.

f͟e͟m͟a͟l͟e͟: the friend. junhoe and her had gotten pretty close when she and her boyfriend were on bad terms. she was in a very low moment and was feeling stressed over multiple things, meanwhile, junhoe was struggling with his uality and trying to convince himself he was still into women. they're close and he will still playfully flirt with her at parties.
(optional: they used each other for comfort but it never went further than some kisses. they were not into each other in that way and they both knew why. she was still into her ex and he was using her to distract himself from his own issues.)

m͟a͟l͟e͟: the current boyfriend. he notices how close jun and his girlfriend have gotten and he doesn't really like it. one of the biggest reasons for their previous fights was his jealousy, and when getting back together he did say he'd try to work on it, but having jun bluntly flirt with her in his face was striking all the wrong chords. truth be told, jun is not a fan of him either and thinks his friend can do much better. they keep taking jabs at each other or starting a fight at any given chance. the girl hates this and is often scolding them for it, but it's just too much fun for junhoe to annoy the guy since he seems to absolutely hate his guts.

*we could possibly use jun's uality for extra drama if wanted. maybe jun old the girl at one point when they got close or she figured it out, and she ends up telling her boyfriend as a way to pacify him and convince him that jun is 'not a threat' to their rs*

➻ what about sohee just ticks you off, over the time of attending this university, seeing her walking around as if she owns the place, when she's nothing but a loser, an outcast, one of the weirdos who has nothing going good for her. she's beneath you and you hate that even with all your taunts and your friend's mockery comments, sohee simply turns a blind eye. the girl is resilient and she practices her deep breathing time and time again whenever you and your posse seems to be present. however, one day she had enough with hearing the taunts, it was one of her bad days, plus she didn't get her fix during lunch, weed keeps her quite calm mind you - you snapped and called her an 'old ' who told you to do that? she didn't bother wasting time as she lunges at you and plummets her hand face first, your features going disoriented and your body following as she shoves you down onto the cold floor, punching and even going as far to choking you - your friends stood by helpless. are they even friends, too gobsmacked to even help. sohee, as always got in trouble, your rich parents sued her, leaving the poor girl in a financial debt.... we can wing from there, work on stuff etc.

➻ the fact that aria wants to smack herself on the head anytime you speak, says wonders about who you are. she cannot begin to understand how you even got into university at this point - it's a shame really, how blunt she is in expressing that she thinks you're an idiot. it's offensive really. she cannot stand you nor can you but you have to keep her close because, well you keep flunking class and since aria came into the uni with an amazing gpa and great score records, the dean assigned her to give you some tutoring sessions in hopes of amping up your grades a bit. you both know this is a disaster waiting to happen - but aria got to know you under all of that, realizing there's more than meet the eye. she may even consider you an acquaintance seeing as there's something that underlies all this wild, rowdy behavior and being who she is, she cannot help but wish to comfort you and help.

➻ you're what they would call the class clown, so aria honestly wishes she didn't think it was amusing with the shenanigans you tend to portray during class hours, but deep down it's very amusing to her. however, being one of the nerds, and teacher's pet so to speak - she has to show up her end of the bargain and show distaste in front of the teachers and classroom. behind closed doors however, she's actually really sweet to you and kind even, you both actually tend to get along, although some of her idiotic, set in point ways throw you off, you're a free-spirit, whereas, she tends to live by the book. it's annoying of her and sometimes you want to hug her, yet other times, it's becoming tempting to just throttle the heck out of her.

➻ when you got to find out more about aria, fluttering around the hallways and talking left and right to others, trying to fit her way in, your first thought probably was, 'yep definitely an odd one out.' but upon getting to know her, even if she belongs to a clique of 'nerds' you think she's actually pretty chill and easy to talk to. you both make jokes a lot of the times, mess around and hit at each other with your fun-filled bickering. it's an on again, off again friendship, since she's quite busy with all her extra-curricular activities and deep down you still probably think that you and her don't even fit right since she's still part of a clique. with the nerds being the type to judge everyone who doesn't work hard enough and always having their head buried in a book. even if aria, has been swaying bit by bit from that notion when she started making friends from other different cliques, even if she rocks the chic, modern look, you still feel a bit wary since maybe your grades aren't as high or (we can discuss further)

➻ aria is a very observant person, she tends to look around and pick up on little quirks on people, whether she sees you hanging out by the bleachers all alone, or simply eating alone, or maybe bumping into you before entering the washrooms. wherever she sees you, you seem to be quite the loner. it hurts her being the empathetic person she is, she wishes that you wouldn't have to experience the pain, she sometimes feel - being an outcast of some sorts. she took it upon herself to befriend you or try to, helping you overcome what darkness you may have bubbling within you, whether it's (depression or some other negative feeling or thought) she wishes to be that light in your life. ➻ what started off as intrigue turned into admiration and now it's like you're her very role-model as humorous as it sounds. she likes the way that you can drift from clique to clique and blend in perfectly well without even trying! aria thinks she sticks out like a sore thumb - her accent alone drawing too much attention to herself which makes her way even more sometimes when speaking to the 'cool kids,' you on the other hand, always make it seem so easy. sometimes she's watching and daydreaming on how to be more like you, when one day she worked up the courage in approaching you for some silly little tips on how to become someone similar to how you are. blending in with little effort and doing it confidently as well.
