@kang taehyun "Mmmm almost?! Almost better than you? Please Tae pft... let's not lie to ourselves now," winter teases with a cheeky grin playing on her couplets as her eyes shimmer in the glowing lights above their head while walking out from her apartment and into the building that housed the said apartment. Her hand came out to tap the button on the elevator so they could head back down as she pondered his question thoughtfully. "Hmmm, I mean it'll be best that way? Since I don't think leaving your vehicle at the club would be wise?"
Minjeong was genuinely concerned and worried if it would be a good idea as she played with the ends of her little clutch and waited for the *ding* and the doors slid open from the little metal box the two would be entering. A delicate hand easily finds his wrist and tugs him in with her carefully before tapping the button to the ground floor as she leans back on the bar for safety measures, eyes soft and curious as they admire his features momentarily as her lips pursed out in contemplative thought.
"What do you think is best? I mean what are you comfortable with? Your car is here by me. Safer option I reckon, and I was thinking we could go by the Cafe close to the building here. It's merely a five-minute walk, not even that long— so we can just head on over there and grab something and get the Uber to pick us up there to head over, what do you think?" She asks just as the elevator doors dinged open once more and she's stepping out with taehyun as her eyes glance back at him in hopes of him coming up with a plausible answer.
@kim minjeong Taehyun waited patiently behind the door for the other to answer, though the two hadn't known each other for long he couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle at hear appearance. Rocking back and forth on his feet, Taehyun shrugged his shoulders lightly. "You'll have to tell me about twenty more times before I start calling you that." He jokes a bit, but some truth behind it, he takes longer than some others to get used to using nicknames or other names for others. "Hey, you told me to be here at this time, so I'm here." He throws his hands up in defense before letting the other to continue. "At least you got them done though."
Taehyun had a set schedule for himself though, and the only time anything came up was if he had received a message from his band members saying they needed him for something or another. This allowed him the somewhat freedom of knowing when he'd be able to go out and manage his time... something he was attempting to get better at doing at least. Despite the playful teasing of rushing the other, he waited patiently for the other to get ready, idly watching her as she moved across the apartment. When she finally seemed to have settled down on getting ready, Taehyun watched as she did a little twirl, shaking his head, another chuckle escaping his lips as he rolled his eyes a bit.
"You look good, yes." He agreed, honestly. "Almost better than me, even." He let out a chuckled before he nods his head a bit, moving from his spot to go back and leave the apartment, waiting for her to follow. "Should we order an uber both ways , or get one just on the way back?" He asked trying to decide if he would want to have to fetch his car in the morning, but sometimes it was nicer to not have to wait for any uber drivers.
A last-minute order was what kept the older girl back from finishing up on time. She rushed home right off the clock and instantly got ready, showering and doing her hair, and makeup as her eyes frantically glanced at the clock. Minjeong has always been the type to enjoy her days and nights partying and having fun, finding friends to hit the clubs with, or sometimes simply having an enjoyable time at the stupid frat parties. It was always an in-between for concerning those. Some were just plain messy and rowdy to the point of stupid jocks who feel it was wise to show off to everyone that they can drink a keg without eating and throwing it up all over the place. Yeah, no! Minjeong doesn't need that type of "fun" tonight. Thankfully, when she saw the younger male's message coming through she was laced with exhilaration and excitement to last the entire evening!
What she didn't expect was having a few last-minute orders coming in at the shop, the blonde girl didn't have a chance to text taehyun until she was in the comfort of her apartment and quickly dressing up for their night out together. He's one of those few trustworthy friends she can be comfortable with and knows without a doubt that she would be safe. He would surely look out for her — being a young lady and all, among the crowd of clingy, sweaty, drunk, and desperate men. Not that she can't fend for herself, by all means that isn't the case, but having someone sturdy and supportive, reassures her to be able to unwind and just be free.
Hearing the male's voice coming through the door has her rolling her eyes and yanking the door open, she quirks a brow at taehyun with a low scoff. One shoe on and one earring on, her hair a little messy from the hustle and bustle, her skirt and blouse set up firm on her lithe frame as she cocked a hip to the side with a playful glare given in his direction. "I thought I told you, you can call me winter? Come in you impatient brat. I'm almost done. I didn't expect those orders to come in one after the next, I swear— then again, what do I expect from a Saturday evening." Shaking her head, the petite girl walked back over to her little bedroom. Seeing as it's a one-bedroom apartment, she moved around rather quickly while packing her little bag with the necessities, making sure importantly to have her I.D and her phone, since a lot of the time due to being small in stature, winter is mistaken as a younger person, too young at that.
Finally, she's finished and smoothing down dainty palms over her fit, she makes a twirl for the male and strikes a cheeky pose before moving to grab her perfume — vanilla fields and spritz some behind her ear and on her neck and wrists. "Okay, how do I look? Good? You look ..." Her eyes scan him and she grins softly, "Cute! Shall we go Tae?"
@kim minjeong One thing that Taehyun had to admit, that he was sure of was that college was completely different than high school. While he was the outcast most of his life, and didn’t have very much friends of his own, all of that changed once he got out of high school. Mind you, he still had a bit of trouble making friends here and there, and he had run into a couple of judgmental people but it wasn’t nearly as bad as the teenagers in high school.
Never would he have thought to have found himself being apart of a band, working in a bar or even going to clubs to hang out with others. Taehyun certainly wasn’t the type to experience clubbing on his own but he couldn’t lie that he absolutely enjoyed going with his friends. Sure there was sweaty bodies everywhere, loud music playing and the occasional creeps, but when you were there it was almost like anything outside of the club temporarily didn’t exist for the moment. So when a mutual friend had brought him and Minjeong together, it was easy for him, when he wanted a break and escape from his normal routine he had a place to go, and someone to tag along with him.
Taehyun didn’t have any schedules today, had finished all his work and had made sure there was no meet up with his band mates before making plans with Minjeong, that way he wouldn’t have to worry about flaking out on anyone. The two had been texting about meeting up for tonight for a bit, so when the time came he shot her a quick reminder message before letting her know he was on his way to pick her up from her apartment.
Dressed in distressed black skinny jeans, and a white t-shirt loosely tucked in, and black boots he made his way up to the girls apartment, having been there enough to know where she lived. Thrumming his knuckles on the door, he hummed out the words in a half sing-song half teasing tilt to his voice. “Minjeongie! you’re late!”
