It was no time to around and find out. Thinking about going home to visit his mother should not be the first thing to prioritize. Saving Korea should be first, if Korea is safe then she would be too. Taekjoo sighs softly as he shakes away the those thoughts. Right now, he needs to focus on the objective. If he was not mistaken, in the email he received prior from the professor there was a student by the name Lee Dojae whom was supposedly going to help aid him as a returning student. It would have been extremely helpful if there were a photo included but alas, they could never make it easy for him. Taking a quick glance to his right, Taekjoo nearly gave himself a jump-scare. Since when did this student sit besides him and how did he not hear them? His eyes wanders down to see all the necessities needed for the lecture and reaches down into his backpack to gather the same. Surely, the lecture should start soon? Right?

@kwon taekjoo. Dojae was never early nor was he ever late. He arrived when the swarm of students transitioning between classes or arriving to their first of the day was at its lowest. Despite past experiences urging him to integrate with his peers, he prioritized his peace above most. The only thing that came above it was his routine. Knowing what would occur from point A to point C and all that fell in between provided him a sense of relief and control. No expectations; no surprises; no disruptions. However, walking into the lecture hall to see his self-designated seat already filled with an unfamiliar silhouette went against those core values. He isn't mad, he concludes, but there is an brief unpleasantness that forces his shoulders to tense and feet to stop in their tracks. He stares at the man from the entryway, taking in his laxed features and slumped posture. There is a faint nagging in the back of his mind attempting to pose a reminder, however he is unable to make heads or tails of what it is and before it becomes a headache, he starts en route once more to the available space next to the other. It isn't preferred but Dojae would need to settle, not that there is much of a choice on the matter. He drops into the seat beside the presumed new student - 'new' by Dojae's standards was a fairly low threshold to clear when he paid little to no mind to those around him if it didn't fulfill his needs - and arranges his desk for the lecture.

@lee dojae. | A soft sigh emits past Taekjoo's lips while tilting his head slightly to press his cheek against the palm of his hand as he watches the room begin to fill with students. Years ago, he made a promise to himself that he would never come near any school vicinity after he graduated. And yet, here he was sitting in a classroom waiting for the professor to waltz into the room to start the lecture. He would have held himself true to that promise if it weren't for the department head assigning him to this new investigation after just finishing a mission. Judging from the details given to him, it would definitely be a break from the more dangerous missions he had been assigned to. The perks of this new mission gave him the freedom to go home to visit his mother, she would be so elated to see her child after all the missed holidays and promised days off that were taken away due to his job. Lost in his thoughts, Taekjoo had not realized that even the seat besides him had eventually became occupied.
