@jiang cheng. ʷᵃⁿʸᶦⁿ@illumi zoldyck. () for time, I'm thinking this is about twilight when wwx and jc are walking in so time to make dinner and hang out before rest
@jiang cheng. ʷᵃⁿʸᶦⁿ@illumi zoldyck. With a grin, Wuxian lead Jiang Cheng toward his porch, the rock path crunching under their shoes. He was excited to bond with his former martial brother turned... well. That's just it isn't it. While their relationship wasn't always the best, he didn't want to ever give up hope that maybe... they could share a smile again.
"What did you expect when I said I'd bring you to my farm? It was just me before Illumi. I hope the walk has made you hungry, you wouldn't believe the kinds of things Illumi has brought that make cooking so much easier!"
He tried not to go off on his usual tangents, leading him up to the landing of his porch, tugging the doors open, eyes searching.
"Would you like to see your room first?" Wuxian asked as he held the door open for Jiang Cheng to enter.
@wei wuxian. ʸᶦⁿᵍ@illumi zoldyck. Jiang Cheng wasn't sure why Wei Wuxian was so intent on having conversation with him. Just because he agreed to reside with his formerly adopted brother and his husband, it did not mean that Jiang Cheng had so easily forgiven him. Holding his bag of robes and his usual accessories, Jiang Cheng trailed behind Wei Wuxian as they stepped into his farm. First impressions? It... was a simple life. Not one that Jiang Cheng, having been raised as part of the five great clans, was accustomed to. Jiang Cheng looked around, lips pulled into an almost permanent sneer. "It's... certainly not what I expected."
@wei wuxian. ʸᶦⁿᵍ@jiang cheng. ( random starter, slow replies though cause i've been helping a friend move huehue. i also didn't know which writing style to go with, use whatever feels comfortable. i also that ying and jiang cheng were walking together so i wanted to make cohesive. sorry, i'm yapping )
Illumi looks over at the clock, Ying could return any moment with their guest. He had made a checklist for himself; clean the house, feed the animals, ensure the guest room was up to standard, and made sure his needles were kept away. He was never one to do chores before meeting his love, often having the staff his family employed doing all of it. However, it brought comfort in him, knowing that just this was for Ying. And of course, Jiang Cheng, their guest.
Our farmhouse

Good thing I always keep the guest room neat in case my son comes to visit…
