as i stood there, the cool evening air nipping at my neck, i could feel the weight of my unannounced visit. “can i come in now?” i asked, my voice tinged with both hope and apprehension, trying to read your expression for any sign of welcome.

it wasn't long that i'm done taking my pleasant shower, draped in my bathrobe and checking myself in the mirror. i then received a text from someone announcing their arrival to my place. and it wasn't just someone. i nearly choked and panicked, though excitement quickly overshadowed it. one of my favorite hyungs came to visit. i hastily, but carefully, made myself a bit presentable, applying a touch of tinted lipbalm and styling my hair in some way before i tended to the door and opened it. by the time i had secured the snacks, it was roughly 8 pm, and i was en route to your apartment, following the familiar path i took every friday night. your place wasn't far from mine, just a few doors down, much to my satisfaction. as i took the last steps toward my destination, i pulled out my phone to send a quick text, notifying you of my arrival before knocking on the door.
