the open bar. this is a little area of the side of the main beach area where you can have cutters and drinks, music entertainment to dance the day or night away.
@huh yunjin:・☀︎ sunghoon felt the heat of yunjin's gaze settled onto him. he thought to himself that perhaps she was finally realizing what she was missing but he steered himself away from such thoughts. they did him no good and shrouded his mind with negative ideas. he snapped out of his reverie and noticed the way her fingers shook as she took the can of beer out of his peripheral vision. it was his thing to take note of the smaller details of her, it was his way of getting to know his ex-girlfriend without the hassle of mundane questions. old habits really do die hard, he supposed.
silly past? he opened his mouth to answer but the words felt stuck in his throat. was he really afraid of hurting her with more harshness right now? he shut his mouth and finally mustered the courage to match his gaze with hers. huge ing mistake. when she nudged her nose against his and stole a kiss from him, it dawned on him how much he actually missed her. he was foolish to think it was the other way around.
"you know what, you're right." his tone brash as he shook his head out of frustration then he turned his attention away from the other. "i'll wait for you so take your time drinking it. don't want you choking, y'know." the last few words came out mumbled as he kept his gaze on the crashing waves while the feeling of her soft lips stayed on his mind.
@kim sunwoo:・☀︎ "It is pretty good actually, if you want to risk a sip by all means you can ask," jennie reassured with a small smile as her eyes light up a little when the male asked for wine and she hums thoughtfully. "Wine is surely smooth and flowy on the tongue — depending on the type. What do you like mostly? Sweet red wine? The more sour tart type? Or you like refreshing white?" Her voice is mildly curious, wondering what sunwoo's likes and dislikes are concerning the drinks as her fingers toy around with the counter before them and she finally takes a slow sip from her cocktail once more after meeting the younger as a lopsided grin toys on her supple pair. "You might be surprised, but I am not meeting anyone that I even know of haha, until you came by thankfully. So I am relieved that you came around at least. I was bored holed up in my room all day long, just reading and unwinding with a bottle of wine as well, was thinking if to go for a swim but the sun was far too hot... and the bar just beckoned me over, couldn't help that." She muses with a lopsided smile as her frame turns to the male as well, as her hand comes up to prop her head and she looks him square in the face. "And you Mister kim? What brought you out here all alone?"
@kim jennie:・☀︎ his face breaks into a wider smile as he was glad that the girl still recognises him despite only having casual greetings here and there throughout their careers. he purses his lips in thought as he listens to her recommendation, thinking about what he actually should order tonight. his eyes follows the glass that the bartender just put for her. "your drink honestly looks good, jen. but... um. you know what? i'm feeling just some wine tonight." he turns to the bartender, making sure he got his order before he turns back to the girl again, fingers clasping on the counter with half of his body completely facing her. "what are you doing here all alone though? waiting for someone?" he asks in curiosity, because for some reason in his head, there is no way the kim jennie would just spend some time alone in a bar.
@kim sunwoo:・☀︎ the sudden brush against her arm, surprised her and she was about to jump, only for the soft voice to meet her, the voice oddly somewhat familiar, yet not quite. she couldn't help but fixate her entire attention on the handsome male that walked in, causing her to glance around curiously before peeking back at him with a small smile. "ahh, hello sunwoo...? sunwoo-ah, I am not sure what you like, but i would say this cocktail i am having is mighty fine, fruity and sweet, although, i know some people dislike that when coming to alcoholic choices." pursing her lips out thoughtfully, dark orbs flicker to his and she scans his features curiously before humming once. "mind telling me what type you like? shots... scotch, neat on the rocks or mixed - something lighter, or just sweet and smooth, easy to go down?" her orbs flicker back to the bartender coming back and she scrunched her nose with a gentle smile and bob of her head, "thank you lee, for the drink." her attention shifted back to sunwoo fully once more as her head tilts to the opposite side this time, "or beer?"
@kim jennie:・☀︎ it was one of those weird nights for sunwoo since it's rare for him to choose to be in such a noisy and rather crowded place right after he finished his schedules. he was always the introvert type, the type to recharge himself by being alone. but he knows better if he's alone in his room right now, his own thoughts would've killed him slowly. not knowing where his feet would actually bring him, he somehow ended up walking towards the open bar as he catches a famiiar figure, a world star figure that probably everyone could even notice from afar, yet the only one that seems to be alone at that bar that night. before he pushes himself up to sit on the stool, he purposely let the sleeve of his white plain tshirt brushes against the lady's arm, making sure she could be aware of his presence. he then leans in on the bar, scanning through the bottles of beverages before finally he turns his head towards the other idol. "any good recommendations?" he asks the girl, tilting his head a little bit.
@kim sunwoo:・☀︎ Jennie was out at the open bar, in hopes of having some live entertainment with the music and the drinks coming her way. It has been an hour since being here and jennie was beyond bored, dressed in a simple white bikini with a laced wrap covering her bottoms as she drummed her fingers on the countertop, ordering another on the beach cocktail. The buzz not even reaching her just yet.
