perhaps it was because they hadn’t seen each other in awhile but for some reason capturing Matty’s gaze like this was heart-fluttering, making her arms tighten slightly around him. then again he always had a way to make her fluster, she leans in to press a couple of soft kisses to his brims.
I’m glad I gave in to the insomnia tendencies then, I know what happens when we both part for too long from each other. But I am always missing you and the girls surely can vouch, they always hear me complaining about how much I miss you.

as she audibly shows her ease in his vicinity he expresses yearning by softly nuzzling his face into her hair. he stops once he senses the lift of her head, brown hues aligning with a secondary set that influences a simper of gratefulness to cross his features. he brings a hand to gently card through her tresses.
I may not be the most keen of how busy we get, but at the moment I'm just happy to be able to hold you like this again. I stay missing you more than you'll ever know. That, and I was starting to feel cuddle deprived. Heh.

being in his presence brought comfort; the warmth of his body making her hum contently, his familiar scent of cologne and body wash bringing comfort. after the kiss she tilts her head up to meet his gaze, pink lips spreading into a tender smile.
It’s okay, we’ve both been busy. I always cherish the moments of us being able to be together no matter how long it lasts. Though I admit I have missed cuddling you like this.

through a small adoring grin he utters the age old " cute " comment as his fiance snuggles up against his side. he presses a long loving kiss to the top of her head just as his own arms complete a hug.
It's nights like this where a part of me wishes I was still an insomniac. It's not every day now where either of us stays up late.
