Every now and then, I give your hips a playful bump as I arrange the ornaments, making you stumble just enough to draw a chuckle from both of us. The air feels light, filled with joy and a touch of mischief as we decorate the tree together.
Even though the ornaments are a little mismatched— random trinkets hanging here and there— it somehow works. It has its own charm, imperfect yet perfect in its own way. I step back to admire it, a small, proud smile tugging at my lips.
Bending down, I pick up the star— the final, crowning piece of our masterpiece— and hold it out to you. The soft glimmer of the star catches the light, making it feel even more special.

Lets out another laugh and starts putting the ornaments on random areas, looking a bit messily placed.

I then stand up and with a menacing grin plastered on my visage and wrap the string of light around your body loosely.

I giggles out once I done and put the star tree topper ontop of your head, arms up gesturing my way to said "ta dah".

Shakes my head in feigned disappointment and continues to chuckle. I let you go for a bit when you put him down, follow you when you move to the ornaments, and wrap my arms around again.
White will be nice, bebu, but if colorful Christmas works best for your liking then colorful it is.

Chuckling softly, head shaking in feign upset at you and set Kumo down so he can play around. I then push the pile of decorations closer and look at the ornaments, not quite sure what aesthetic we were going for our first Christmas tree.

Ayo, can't let Kumo sleep outside with us. He's a naughty boyo. He will be gone by the time we're awake in the morning if we sleep outside.
Shakes my head at the thought and suddenly lifts Kumo back in my arms. I give him a pet and lift him up to the air this time like simba, speaking to him as if he understands human language.
