+ why'd they sign up for the show: believe it or not, jungkook's family submitted an audition tape to '첫눈에 결혼했다', where they argued that it was "unconventional" for him to still be single at his age, especially since outside of work, he doesn't prioritize romance or make time for dating, yet shows traits like: a quiet generosity and homemaking abilities, that would make him an ideal husband (which in simply being acquainted with him, you'd realize he consciously tucks away behind the walls of a reserved exterior— stemming from past heartbreak, including the painful experience of being cheated on). as expected, jungkook wasn't immediately sold on the idea, on the grounds that marrying a stranger felt too uncertain—hell, too far outside of his comfort zone. but when his grandmother, a huge fan of the show, finally asked him to participate, he reluctantly agreed. and though unsure, he’s quietly accepting of the situation, open to seeing how it might help him move past his reservations and allow for growth.
