@ᵇ hong seunghyun. Taemin ventured off, wanting a new reading spot for his latest book, something different from his apartment room that felt chaotic due to him being unable to unpack his boxes. His room wasn't the most pleasant place at the moment to unwind.

He discovered that the complex had a garden; of course, it was frozen; nothing was growing under the soft blankets of snow, just bushes and small trees left in their hibernating mode. The feline hybrid didn't mind the cold either, most clouded leopards preferred heat environments, for Taemin, he was sensitive to heat so he always welcomed the cold.

Finding a stone bench by the sleeping garden bed, he cracked his book open and pushed his glasses further up his nose bridge.

@ᵒ son dongpyo. Taking a step back when he saw the other springing to their feet, youngdae glanced down at the shorter male. “Despise isn’t the right word.” He mumbled quietly under his breath, knowing he took no offence. Understanding that his choice of words are never the best but the male before him might be just as bad, he nudged the magazine towards the other with a teasing smile. “Have it. I was learning how to communicate in the interviews. Doesn’t seem like I’ve learnt anything, maybe you’ll find it useful instead.” The actor revealed what he was doing before withdrawing his hands into the pockets of his pants.

@ᵃ kim youngdae. "relax, i read magazines and books too, you know," he quipped, his tone light but laced with mock offense. "i’m just teasing—no need to be so rude. do you treat all your juniors like this? sheesh~" with an exaggerated shake of his head, he ran a hand through his raven locks, letting out a theatrical sigh. in one effortless hop, he sprang up from the bench, standing in front of you with his ears flicking atop his head as his eyes traveled upward to take in their height difference. "well, i’ll leave you alone, puppy. don’t want you to actually despise me."

@ᵒ son dongpyo. Hearing the adjectives the other used to describe themselves, youngdae raised his brows at how seemingly confident the other is in expressing themselves in a rather non masculine way, something youngdae wouldn’t do. His eyes flew up to his skull when he was called old school as he shook his head again. “I know what a phone is, but I bet you’ll develop astigmatism the longer you’re glued to your phone.” Lifting his magazine, the actor continued, “this is way less harmful for your eyes, try it sometimes.” He acted as if he was promoting a product before he heard the next sentence of the other, to which he snorted again. “Scandalous.. the last thing I could ever want. Moreover with you? Hopefully the only time we’re in a magazine together is that we’re in different pages.”

@ᵃ kim youngdae. "oh, wow—distasteful? that’s so mean!" dongpyo gasped, clutching his chest in mock offense. "how is my presence not delightful, hmm? i’m pretty, i’m cute, i’m fun. honestly, what’s there not to like?" despite youngdae's less-than-kind comment, his smile didn’t waver—in fact, it seemed to grow, clearly thriving in the banter. "and obviously i keep up with industry news. i mean, there are these amazing little things called phones now. do you even know what a phone is, mister old-school?" his teasing tone was followed by a soft laugh as he rested his freshly brushed and fluffed tail over his lap. "but really, wouldn’t you like to be in a magazine? think about it—we could do something scandalous together~" he winked, fully committed to the teasing.

@ᵒ son dongpyo. With another shook of his head, youngdae watched as the other invaded his previous spot. “Delightful? More like distasteful.” Folding his arms over his chest, the actor raised a brow as he noticed the other seemingly grooming themselves. Hearing the other’s reply, youngdae scoffed. “Looks like someone isn’t interested in their own industry to read about the latest updates. And no, I’m not in this magazine. If that’s what you’re curious about.”

@ᵃ kim youngdae. "oopsie" dongpyo chirped, a soft giggle escaping his lips. "you’re pretty jumpy for someone so tall and serious." without waiting for an invitation, pyo plopped down on the bench, crossing one leg over the other with an effortless, sassy flair. "you looked so lonely, and i thought, well, why not grace you with my delightful company?" he added, flashing a smile, his fingers idly combing through the soft fur of his tail, a casual gesture that only seemed to underline his confidence. "ah, i wish i could say i’ve had my moment in the spotlight. but alas, i’m not quite that famous—yet. you seemed very... absorbed." he teased, his tone laced with faux curiosity. "was there something about you in there? or maybe something about your secret santa, hmm~?"

@ᵒ son dongpyo. Flipping page by page and reading the content, youngdae was so engrossed in his reading that he didn’t realise the other’s presence. When he did, the actor jumped out of his seat, a hand instinctively reach to clutch the magazine to his chest. “What the heck!” He crouched down with a long sigh after identifying the culprit that startled him. “You again-” his lips pulled down into a frown that his peace was disrupted. “Kitty decided to play around in the garden at the same time as me?” The male stood up soon after getting over the initial startle. ”yea, want to see if you got any news this week.” He replied teasingly, emphasising on the word ‘news’.

@ᵃ kim youngdae. also deciding it was the perfect day for some fresh air, dongpyo wandered out to the garden, humming softly to himself as he scanned the area for the best spot. his eyes landed on a familiar figure sitting on a bench, magazine in hand, exuding an air of calm that practically begged to be disrupted. with a mischievous grin curling his plump lips, dongpyo sauntered over, his steps deliberately light so as not to announce his arrival too soon. stopping just short of the bench, he leaned over youngdae’s shoulder, peering at the magazine. "woah, catching up on entertainment gossip? didn’t peg you as the type, mister serious~" he teased, his voice dripping with playful sarcasm.

@ᵒ son dongpyo. Figuring it’s a good day to be partially outdoors, youngdae opted to head to the garden to enjoy the sun. Finding a spot a spot to relax in, he eventually settled down at a bench by one of the flower bushes. Flipping to a page of the magazine he brought down with him, he started to catch up with entertainment news, enjoying the peace and serenity.
