@ᵇ hwang hyunjin. It was much easier to peel this egg than the first one, having already been in the motion of doing it, and gave the egg to Hyunjin to put in the ramen. Looking at the others eyes when motioned to them and he nodded at the comment. "Makes sense." He commented, a small smile tugging on his face. "Adds to the Halloween vibes." He let out a little chuckle. Stepping aside to allow the other to move about in the kitchen as he needed to, he couldn't help but feeling a little happy at Hyunjin stating that he felt comfortable around San, he enjoyed making new friends so those kinds of things meant a lot to him. "Well I mean if you don't have plans for the New Years, I don't see why not. I, once again, actually will be not doing much of anything fun myself." He nodded lightly eyeing the pot of ramen for a bit before nodding at Hyunjin. "Eat in your room too, or no?" He asked before moving to make a bowl for himself.

San had grabbed the last one — he figured four eggs cut in half would be more than enough to add to a communal pot for two — so he took his time with the one in his hand, tapping it against the counter a second time and peeling the shell off again. "I know what you mean. I like going out and doing things, but I also... don't. Holidays like this I like to stay in. Halloween, though, that's a different story," he said with a little laugh that almost sounded half-hearted. He was just focused was all. "Speakin of Halloween, people love the eyes during that time," he randomly added, pointing to his snake eyes. "Anyway," he continued, setting the egg down and carefully starting to split them and place them into the pot of ramen. "I'd be flattered if you hosted me next time, New Year's or otherwise. Maybe it's too soon to speak, but you're nice to be around. At least, you give the vibe that you are." Hyunjin hopped off the counter after moving the bowl to the side, grabbing the pot of ramen to move it to a burner that wasn't on and turning off the stove. "Help yourself when you're ready. We can... Go to my room in case the roommates come by, though I doubt they will. I've got a decent setup for having company in my room, after moving some furniture around, of course."

@ᵇ hwang hyunjin. Cracking the egg against the counter and beginning to peel it, San listened as the other nodding his head along to show that he was. When Hyunjin said something about alone time, he couldn't help but to look up at the other, an eyebrow quirking before the other explained further than what he meant. "I get it." San said with a shrug, he too, didn't want to be around too many others. He was still recovering mentally from everything, and was doing his best to hide it. He was a little relieved when the plans by his friends were cancelled because he wouldn't be forced to put on a fake personality around a large group of people and only agreeing to meet with Hyunjin because it's much easier to just... be, with one person and he didn't want to be alone. "I don't either, any plans that I had before or, at least wanted to have I'd just... rather not do them you know?" He finished peeling the egg and setting it aside and taking another. "Maybe I can host you next time, doesn't have to be a holiday or anything, but just because."

@ᵃ choi san. Fair point, Hyunjin thought to himself. He only let out a quiet grunt in acknowledgement, and then looked back up at the other at the question, egg lifted to his eye level so he could still peel the shell off. "Ah, well," he started, picking the first few pieces off to start, "I just... didn't make any. Alone time sounded preferable." He paused, eyeing San. "Well, you know what I mean. Time in my space with people I choose and don't feel obligated to be around." He went silent even though there had been a second question, and he only answered after he finished the first egg and started the second one... or, well, the third. "I don't have any tomorrow, nor do I havr New Years' plans. You?"

@ᵇ hwang hyunjin. Watching Hyunjin get settled on the counter as he stood to the side. San simply shrugged his shoulders at the others comment and shook his head. To him, Hyunjin was only offering to host the other because his original plans got offered, and regardless; he still didn’t mind helping. He reached in the bowl to grab an egg, getting ready to peel it. “I wouldn’t offer if I didn’t want to.” He stated with a nod, quickly deciding to change the subject “Now, why don’t you have any plans this holiday? Any tomorrow?”

@ᵃ choi san. "Should help the spice I'm sure," Hyunjin nodded, hopping up onto the counter beside the cake and pulling the bowl of eggs in between his legs to keep them close but not knock them over. The offer to help came as a surprise, but it only showed in his eyes while he kept them down on the bowl. He forgot San was super polite. With one egg in his hand that he was already tapping against the counter to break, he nodded and adjusted himself on the counter. "I wouldn't mind, if it's not too much to ask. But I am hosting you, so don't feel obligated," he answered, squinting at San

@ᵇ hwang hyunjin. San didn’t wait long outside before the other opened the door, and he was let inside. Taking ships shoes off at the entrance he closed the door behind him and followed Hyunjin in his apartment and towards the kitchen, setting the pan of cake down on the counter. “The cake will be nice and sweet against the Buldak noodles.” He commented lightly. “Do you need help in shelling them?”

@ᵃ choi san. Hyunjin nearly missed the notification, only getting it on the second chime that served as a reminder that a text had come through in case the first one was missed. It made him jolt, but he patted his chest and moved over to the part of the counter it was on. San was on his way, and he was just about done with their food. The knock came while he was just about to take the boiled eggs out of the ice bath, the noodles sitting on the lowest heat just to keep them warm. He could smell the scent of someone in post-cycle coming closer before he heard the knock, so he was already at the door, but he let the other finish the gesture so it wouldn't seem weird that he opened the door right away. A beat or two later, he opened it, and he gestured San inside. "Cake smells good. I'm almost done, I just need to un-shell the eggs for us," he snickered, already starting to walk back to the kitchen.

@ᵇ hwang hyunjin. After some consideration, San sent Hyunjin a message, letting him know that he was on his way. Grabbing the cake he had made and covering it up with foil before leaving his apartment and making his way to the betas apartment. Knocking on the door cake in his hands he patiently waits for the other, or someone, to answer the door.
