"Why aren't they printing?" Jeong-Eui whispered to herself as she leaned her neck foward, pushing her head to the screen of her moniter, the file explorer open and zoomed in enough for her to see every most recently opened document she opened for this morning. Jeong-Eui's brown eyes squinted with annoyance and her arched brows furrowed together to the point a visible line of confusion appeared between them, her lips opened from the thin line they were in to silently read off the message the computer gave her. "Printer not responding...error 501...please contact your adm—I REFUSE!" She wailed loudly in her cubicle, her hands slapped themselves against her flushed cheeks, and pulled them down enough for her head to be in her hands. The rest of her team already knew, their printer was crap, and for some reason the request for a new one was rejected from the year's new budget proposal. They all wanted to pull their hair out. With a huff, Jeong-Eui hurried out of her cubicle and down the hall to their copy room, her heels clicking briskly against the marbled floors as she broke out into a light jog. Time was of the essence for this one! The lawyer peeked into the windows of the door before opening it, making sure no one else was inside to witness what she was about to do to this janky printer. With not a soul in sight, she flung the door open with a heavy hand and made a beeline to the printer, not waiting for the door to close to give the bottom of the machine a kick with her kitten heels, making a dent in its frame but not enough to get the printer to correct itself. The heat of the moment anger dissipated enough for Jeong-Eui to actually check the mark she left, her eyes widening and sympathy for the printer had started to settle until it beeped. "Oh?" She said as she looked at the electronic panel, it was glitching. Like anyone else would she started clicking on anything she could to get it to stop, but its single beeps started to get louder and louder until they turned into high-pitched beeps that repeatedly went off, announcing it was ready for take off. Jeong-Eui took a step back from the printer, both of her hands were spread out in front of her as she pleaded for it to stop. Panic had officially settle in her bones and she was more than determined to kill it now instead of wanting it to go back to normal. She pursed her lips and blinked rapidly before her hands flew to opening the slots of the printer. Out of nowhere, paper began spitting out of the printer, pages started to fly around the room and hit the wall it was facing. Jeong-Eui internally screamed as she stood fozen, overcome with shock and slight giddiness from the chaos she created. The ink—it was hot and a mix of colors that started the spew from one of the open slots she opened, directly in front of her. The powder blue cardigan she wore over her white blouse and matching white trousers had become a canvas of colors for the vengeful printer, and it /burned/. Pathetically, Jeong-Eui called loudly for help as she cowered in the empty corner of the copy room, letting the mix of inked, jammed, and blank papers fall over her.
