@[♡] baek yeonah. just as the makeup artist is done with setting his foundation, the dressing room bustles with liveliness, all at the entrance of one person. baek yeonah; the very person he's been interested in talking to. seungwoo's still facing front, unmoving, as she sits down in the seat next to his. the makeup artist no longer needs him to sit still, but until yeonah's done talking, seungwoo continues to face front, stealing glances of the latter reflected in the mirror in front of him.

he then slowly turns his head to look her way. seungwoo flickers his eyes down from her face—looking at her held out hand. he fleetingly meets her gaze again, giving a soft smile of his own. taking her hand into his, he gives it a gentle, but steady shake. "i was waiting for you." seungwoo counters back, his tone playful, but his gaze sincere. he has and had been waiting; for the chance to converse with her, one-on-one. "i'm seungwoo, woo seungwoo. i'm just as pleased to be your partner for this photoshoot as well."

just as he lets go of her hand, they're interrupted, a staff member calling out for him. "seungwoo-ssi, we need you in the fitting room~" he politely excuses himself from yeonah, getting up and following the staff member that hurriedly waves him over, following her around the corner. just as he turns into a hall, he faintly hears another staff member call for yeonah. he's led by the staff member into a small meeting room, the door closing behind them. there's cameras, with the film crew present. the staff member that has brought him to the room asks him to take a seat at the table. seungwoo does, but is internally confused as to why he's being seated, if he's being fitted for an outfit.

he's then handed an envelope by the staff member. "unfortunately, minji-ssi is no longer able to participate in the show due to unforeseen circumstances." seungwoo looks to them in concern. "is minji okay?... i hope she is." although he hadn't known the presumably youngest contestant for long, from the short while they had interacted, minji had come off kind and sweet.

reluctantly, seungwoo opens the envelope, assuming that this is the action that the production team wants him to take. inside, is a cue card with what looks like a set of instructions. after reading it, he then starts putting it back into the envelope. "yes." he merely says, looking up at the staff, awaiting further instructions. there's a second of silence, before the cameraman behind the lens sputters into a laugh. seungwoo raises an eyebrow of suspicion. "what's going on... is this a prank or something?" the staff member denies it's a prank, but that they need more content—more of a reaction from him. they also tell him that he needs to read the instruction on the card aloud, so that upon broadcast, viewers can follow along.

"ah! i'm sorry..." seungwoo apologizes, with a bow of his head. "i'll read it." clearing his throat, he takes out the cue card from the envelope again, reading it aloud. "plot twist; do you wish to continue the photoshoot with the current contestant you are partnered up with? if so, the theme of the photoshoot will change to a 'spicier' concept (you will only get to see the concept once you have given your answer). if you choose to accept, you will not be able to go on a 1:1 date until the end of the next challenge."

"wow." seungwoo says, blinking twice. he then looks right at the camera, giving a grin. "yes. my answer is yes." with that, seungwoo gives two thumbs up.

@[♡] woo seungwoo. "yeonah-ssi, over here!"

she sighs in relief upon seeing the waving production crew member, maneuvering into the empty parking spot indicated before getting out of the car. "sorry, i ran late—is everybody here?" the shake of her companion's head makes yeonah nod gratefully, and then she's beelining it into the dressing room. upon seeing seungwoo, she beams, plopping herself down into the makeup chair beside him. "you beat me," she teases, offering him a warm smile as she extends her hand out in greeting. "i don't think we've formally met; the name's baek yeonah. pleased to be one of your partners for this shoot!"

@[♡] baek yeonah. @[♡] ahn minji. he's the first one to arrive. the location is a small independent studio space, in which smaller indie films and niche show programs get filmed. upon his arrival, the production team usher him to the dressing room, telling him that he's going to get started on hair and makeup right away.
