@bang mir ( east ) [[ I literally had this done weeks ago but forgot to post it OTL ]]
Kris threw the shorter man a curious look, only to be overrode by his usual steely expression, and snatched at a book he held to his chest. "What's this? My best man got beaten by a bookworm?" He sneered and glanced down at the book. 'What in the actual...' He coughed awkwardly to disguise his shock. The book was no stranger to him and was actually the one he had been obsessing over the last few weeks. "Winter Rose," was its name and to his further amazement, it was the authentic first-edition copy, personally written by the author. He flipped through the book with a frown; sure enough, said penmanship was distinctively Mir's, all scribbles and barely legible scrawls. "How did you get this?" He demanded and waved the book at the Eastern. As far as he knew, the only person who had the first-edition copy was the author himself, unless he gave it away; both seemed to be the possible situation at the moment - he could be meeting the author himself or someone who was apparently close to the author.
He assessed the boy with a once over and found himself thoroughly confused by how he felt about this stranger. He was shorter than Kris, probably younger too, but his expression was old, like someone who has gone through all of the hardships of life in his 10 and something years or so. Moreover, the composure that he held himself with was frightening, and the calm at which he proceeded with roused Kris's curiosity more than he would have liked to admit. But feelings were not supposed to come in the way now. And so, he shut them out with a tightening of his jaws and readied himself in a defensive pose in the case the other attacked.
@wu yifan ( north ) [[how am i non-threatening u.u i beat the out of joongki]]
Cheolyong had just done researching some things for his book when he realized that he had stepped upon the northen region. He was hell shocked when someone stepped into his vision line and he didn't do much but throw a dagger to the man's direction, killing him in a second as his dagger stabbed right at the neck's pulse. He sighed softly as he didn't see anyone coming after him or this northen guy he just killed.
Cheolyong crouched down and take his dagger back with him along with some books that he clutched tightly near his chest. He stood up and he saw someone walks to him. Taller, he thought annoyedly.
Cheolyong gave the man a calculating look, not looking up to his face because he would never look up to anyone. He only gave the other a curt nod when the other introduced himself. "Nothing," he said in his usual soft drawling voice and starts to walk past the taller.
@bang mir ( east ) He usually didn’t take care of business personally but with news of an Easter on his side of town, he couldn’t pass up the chance. Yifan lurked in the shadows of the alley, squinting to readjust his vision in the dark. He couldn’t see clearly who it was, but his subordinates had alerted him earlier that it was indeed an Easter. The guy had been here ten minutes before, taking the life of one of his best assassins. “A mysterious guy with no words but his actions were ruthless.” A man of his had said when he managed to escape the grasp of this stranger.
Yifan never heard of an Easter who took matters in his own hands and as much as he didn’t like to admit it, he was more curious about the man than anything. He took haughty strides towards the other, cocking an eyebrow and assessed him - well, the silhouette that he saw; he still couldn’t see too well just yet. He was considerably shorter than Yifan but from what he could make out, the guy’s expression was calm and calculating. “Wu Yifan. North.” He introduced himself curtly and put a hand on his revolver in the case that the man decides to launch a surprise attack. “Silent but deadly,” his subordinate had said. “What business did you have with my people that you had to kill them?” He asked, head held high.
[[ You know...thinking up a term for an East person didn't quite turn out as I expected ._. You sound non-threatening now, Easter ]]
