Yoseob's eyes slowly opened, meeting Ren's pleading eyes with his own glazed over chocolate orbs. The sheer need that he saw in the male's eyes was enough for him to freeze, his hips bucking once, then twice before he emptied a load down the young Fallen's throat. The don's body shuddered in pleasure as a guttural growl left his lips. He glared down at the blonde before he slowly pulled his still throbbing from Ren's now chapped lips. "Swallow." He commanded before flipping the boy so that his face was buried in the covers, his straight up in the air.
Another harsh slap to the boy's skin was delivered before Yoseob postioned himself at the boy's entrance. "What do you want for me?" He asked lightly, the head of his teasing the ring of muscles. It was so hard to resist plunging directly into the boy and quite literally ing him into the mattress, but with the centuries Yoseob had developed quite strong self control. He could tease the boy for weeks on end if he really wanted.
Pain. Pleasure. They were swirling together in an intoxicating mix that Ren couldn't get enough of. This wasn't a tender exchange, savoring each other like lovers would. There were no boundaries, no restrictions. No give and take, just taking it all and giving it up. He shouldn't be enjoying it, begging for it, especially from the enemy of all people. He had already fallen hard, beyond the point of return though, so what did it matter to him? He was turned into Yoseob's doll, his puppet, for the night. Maybe that meant that Ren should have disliked it more, since it was practically the replay of his worst memories, the living waking nightmares. But he loved it, and what made it so irresistibly delicious was that it was his choice. He had wanted it, sought it out.
Even when the Boss was roughly ing his throat, Ren allowed him to have his way, relaxing his throat as best as he could. His voice would probably be hoarse and rough later, maybe even worse if Yoseob could coax a scream from his lips. The way the man was taking, demanding from the blonde and enjoying it so much was satisfying, to say the least. His own length was throbbing and neglected, but Ren abstained, especially with his hands bound still. Even as he started choking on Yoseob's ing down his throat, he still radiated utter need and desire, begging for more pain, more pleasure, with his eyes that weren't being met.
A smirk spread across Yoseob's features as he watched Ren with cloudy eyes. The sound of the boy's impatient whine only caused the vampire's to throb with the need to taint the fabricated innocence that the boy in front of him insisted on displaying at all times. A soft growl rumbled in the older male's chest as he took note of the crimson contrasting against the boy's pale flesh, causing his head to swim as he lost his grip on what he was doing, all restraints being cast to the wind for another day.
A groan left the Don's lips as he tilted his head back, his eyes sliding shut as his fingers threaded through Ren's hair. Instinctively, he bucked his hips into the blonde's mouth. He had no regard for his partner as he his length down the boy's throat, finding the pace that the other had set to be simply a tease. Feeling the tensing of throat muscles around his shaft, Yoseob let out another growl, tightening his grip on Ren's silky locks before he continued his assault on the other's mouth.
He could /feel/ it, feel the Vampire his blood, could feel the pain fade into intense pleasure. Or maybe that was just him, showing his true colors as the obedient, submissive little pet that he had been trained to be. Either way, he loved it, and when Yoseob pulled away, for that second, an impatient, pleading whine escaped his pink lips. But then he had bitten him again, and no, this time it wasn't for his blood. Somehow, that just excited him more as his breath came in gasps from the pain, the bite marks in his thigh still slowly oozing blood.
It stood out against his porcelain skin, even as he was lifted up. The loss of blood had made him ever so slightly lightheaded, the pain adding to that until he was almost intoxicated on the sensation. Needy he was, needy for the pain and pleasure his Master was giving him. He wanted more, wanted it all, his lips as Yoseob's tantalizing was presented to him. His tongue darted out, slick muscle wrapping around the head as he got his first taste of the other. Finding the musky, slightly bitter taste just to his liking, Ren shifted to where he was on his knees, before descending on the other's and taking it into his mouth. His head bobbed up and down, and hollowing his cheeks into a tight vacuum while his tongue pressed flat against one of the bulging veins. He moaned at the taste, the warmth and throbbing of the other in his mouth, straining the leather still bound around his wrists. Ren wanted to touch, to take more that what Yoseob gave him. He gazed at the man from behind his blonde bangs that, like the rest of his hair, were messy and loose, his eyes begging this man who controlled him, who was playing him so deliciously that all he could want was more.
The sweet essence that filled his mouth caused an animalistic moan to rumble from Yoseob's chest as he started eagerly at Ren's flesh, drawing more blood into his mouth. Pulling back, the vampire sunk his fangs into the opposite leg, this time just for the sake of causing pain rather than drawing blood. The desperate noises that the boy emitted only caused him to let out another cold laugh. "So needy." He whispered before pulling Ren so that he was sitting up.
Moving the gag so that it was out of the boy's mouth, Yoseob undid his own pants, pushing them down enough to let his hardening spring forward. "." He commanded, pressing the tip of against Ren's lips, his dry lips.
Yoseob's words rang sweet and seductive in his ear, contrasting from the burning that stung on his . Ren could /feel/ the skin grow red, his face as well. Everything was so hot, his entire being so sensitive to every touch, every word dripping with taunting that only excited him even more. His body obeyed the other's commands, spreading his legs with flexibility that would make any classic ty girls jealous. Maybe he wasn't better, but that didn't matter. What did matter was the man who was ravaging his body, exposing him and playing with him as he pleased. Ren didn't need any sentiments. He was in it for the pleasure alone.
He got a shock of it when suddenly Yoseob was massaging his balls, a choked, desperate plea escaping the gag when suddenly the sensation was gone. The other's promises did nothing to curb his insatiable desire and impatience, which was quickly interrupted by a sudden pain that made him gasp. He could feel the blood, could feel the warm crimson liquid running out, even if he wasn't allowed to see it. But then there was Yoseob's tongue and the way it stung as it at the blood, his blood. Just like they had been cut, the lacerations started healing again. Of course. His body wouldn't reject the Vampire's powers as much as a normal Fallen's. Which meant he just had all the more to give, give to the enemy who tonight, was his master.
There was barely a time to think, much less react, when he was suddenly pressed down onto his back and Yoseob once more commanded his body into following his orders. His fingers jerked and twisted at the sheets when suddenly there was this searing, blinding pain. It seemed to ignite him in flames all at once, as Ren's head fell back and a choked, desperate gasp escaped him, from pain or pleasure, or maybe both.
"Well aren't you the little ?" Yoseob said huskily as his hand connected once again with Ren's cheek. "I can practically smell the desire radiating off of you. Your heart is already beating so rapidly and we've hardly even begun." A cold chuckle left the man's lips as he spread the boy's legs as far apart as he could get them without making him do the splits. Greedy hands traveled up the smooth, pale expanse of Ren's thighs. There was no tenderness or affection in the vampire's touch, as he simply viewed this as playing with his food.
His finger brushed over Ren's balls before the vampire lightly massaged them for a brief moment. As soon as his touch was there, it was gone again. The older male's keen ears didn't miss the whimpers of need that came from the bound Fallen on the bed. "Don't worry, pet. You'll get what you asked for in due time. After I've aquired what I desire from you. Of course." That being said, Yoseob's nails dug into the back of Ren's thighs, dragging them down with enough force to tear the boy's once flawless skin. Red began to flow from the wounds and Yoseob let out a moan, leaning in to lap up the blood with long, light of his tongue. His saliva quickly sealed up the wound, and the speed at which the boy healed seemed to disappoint the vampire. Grabbing the boy's legs, Yoseob pulled Ren closer, flipping the boy onto his back before spreading his legs once again and sinking his fangs into the boy's right femoral artery.
A flash of amused understanding sparked in his eyes for a second at the man's words. So Yoseob liked to play that way, huh? He could have guessed it by himself, but to hear the hint from the other in that deceptively hypnotic voice of his made it all the more real and all the more exciting. He allowed himself to be controlled, meeting the other's gaze with a lustful, hungrily curious one of his own. Curious to see how far this man could push him, how loud he could make the Fallen scream. Sure he would be able to silently endure the worst of tortures, but Ren was trained well in the art of desires. If the other wanted to dominate him, to cause him pain, then it would be done.
He felt his nerves tingle at the Don's lightest touches, feeling the bite of the leather belt as it was securely bound around his wrists. Ren tested its strength, just for fun, and found that he probably wouldn't be able to break out of it if he actually tried. But then his thoughts were distracted when Yoseob removed his shirt and oh god, he had abs. Not that he didn't expect it because of his occupation, but somehow looking at the Boss' face seemed to project a different image of what his body would look like. But no, it was lean and y and Ren didn't want to take his eyes off of the man and kept imagining what it would be like to feel that body, have it pressed against him. It had been so long, so long since he had found someone he thought deserved his attention, and Yoseob was not disappointing.
He was tempted to make some comment on how he had actually liked the shirt the other was tearing, but that option was removed when the strip of cloth was promptly used to silence him. Bound and gagged. Being dominated and pushed down into the mattress by a smoking hot master. Ren couldn't silence the thrill of anticipation that coursed through him, and he didn't want to. The sound of Yoseob's hand swinging forward could almost be heard and Ren let out a muffled whimper when it connected with his , the burning sensation spreading as his fists clenched in the sheets of his bed. But he loved it, wanted more, and it was obvious the way that he was still holding himself up to allow the Boss to inspect him, to do with him as he pleased. The fire of the pain only added to his burning lust and desire, and he was practically begging for more.
Yoseob smirked deviously to himself as he heard the boy's inquiry. Turning to find the blonde Fallen sitting on the bed in a way designed to subtly entice him, the vampire was quiet for a moment as he appreciated the boy's lithe figure. "I'm not so sure about you. But I know that I am." The vampire then removed his shoes, kicking them into a random corner before approaching the boy. There was a tension filled silence in the room as Yoseob tilted Ren's chin so that their eyes were meeting. A nearly inaudible chuckle came from the Don as his hands slowly trailed down Ren's arms, stopping at the boy's wrists before bringing them together and tying them tightly.
Pulling the charcoal grey sweater that he was wearing over his head, Yoseob revealed a chiseled body that nobody would have expected him to posess. He wasn't bulky in any sense of the word; however, his body was made of lean, powerful muscle. "Hmm..." Yoseob hummed out as he picked up the boy's discarded shirt, tearing a strip out of it the he quickly tied around Ren's mouth before he harshly grabbed a handful of the boy's hair. "You look so cute like this." He whispered before forcing the boy facedown onto the bed, with his up in the air for the vampire to regard with greedy, lustful eyes. Unable to restrain himself, he brought his hand back, then swung it forward to deliver a sharp smack to Ren's , grinning in satisfaction as he watched the telltale signs of swelling and bruising begin to appear.
"You'll find that I'm full of surprises when I'm curious, Mister."
He murmured, letting out a soft hum of pleasure when the other himself started grinding into him. A shiver ran through his spine when Yoseob leaned in, and he was fully sensitive to the sharp tips that were skimming over the skin of his neck. Ren kept his eyes open, resisting the urge to close them, and he was glad of it when the Vampire pushed him off. Blinking in muted surprise, he nodded in understanding at the other's order, smirking a bit when he saw him pick up a few of his belts. Black leather and studs. Whatever the other was going to do with those, it had to be y, even if in a painful way.
Turning to face the other, he stayed on the bed, sitting up on his knees as he let his hands roam freely on his body, pulling his shirt up to reveal inch by inch of his creamy white stomach and chest. Soft moans started to escape his lips as he palmed himself through his grey sweatpants, pushing his hips into the friction of his touch before pushing the waistband of both his pants and boxers past his hips. Removing them, he let them fall to the floor like his shirt, completely bare and shameless. His was already hardening as he sat in an innocently provocative pose, allowing the other to view his body as much as he wanted.
"Are we going to have some fun with those, Mister?"
He asked in a playful tone, flashing a seductive smirk.
The vampire's hands immediately went to Ren's hips, grinding up into the boy as he spoke. A seductive little grin spread across the Vampire's face as his hands trailed up Ren's shirt, playful fingers tracing at the boy's bare skin, appreciating the softness of it. "Will you really now?" He asked in curiosity as he heard Ren's statement. "How unlike you."
Leaning in, he brushed the long blonde hair aside in order to press a few damp kisses on the boy's skin before he teasingly ran his fangs up the sensitive flesh, a teasing promise of what would come if the boy did as he was told.
Little did Ren know that Yoseob had a sadistic streak.
Pushing the boy off of him, Yoseob stood up from the bed, walking over to the boy's closet and retrieving a few belts that were hanging on the door. "Strip for me." He commanded, taking a seat in the black office chair across the room from the boy.
Ren smirk widened when he heard the other's invitation, accepting it as he deliberately crawled forward onto Yoseob. He straddled the man's lap, pressing his hips down onto the other's and taking a moment to breathe in Yoseob's scent. He had never been up close to the Vampire like this, the only other time being when the smell of blood thickened the air, and he was taking full advantage of this opportunity. He didn't smell old like some Vampires did, no, his scent was that of rich dark coffee with a hint of something else that Ren couldn't quite place a finger on but was positively intoxicating. His left hand ran down the other's chest, stopping to finger the fabric of his shirt and wonder what the man looked like beneath it.
The reason he hadn't let anyone touch him mainly wasn't because he disliked it from past memories. No, rather, he just hadn't found anyone that interested him enough to want to learn so much about them at the price of his own body. But that had changed now. Yoseob completely fascinated him from the small taste that he had managed to steal, and now, the Fallen was giving into his undying curiosity.
"What do you want me to do, Mister? For tonight, I will answer to all of your desires."
He said in a low, seductive purr, his eyes already darkening to the black midnight of his shadows and wearing a little smile that almost seemed playful. He gave a small roll of his hips against the other's, hands looping themselves around the Vampire's neck.
Yoseob's eyes were immediately attracted to the flash of pale skin being revealed to him as Ren's shirt slipped down his shoulder. The vampire's tongue darted out to wet his dry lips before a coy smile bloomed across his features as he heard the other male's words. His eyes darkened into a more stormy grey as he took his time with examining the other male, tongue absentmindedly tracing over the razor sharp tips of his fangs.
"You'll have to prove to me that you actually want this first. I can't have you chickening out on me once we begin after all." His voice came out as smooth as satin, with a slightly husky edge as he stared at the boy with a gaze that was hypnotic in nature. Sitting up, he leaned against the bedframe, holding out a hand with his palm facing upwards as he curled a finger in a 'come hither' motion. A deep, throaty chuckle leaving his lips as he watched the younger's actions to see what he would end up doing.
"Yet you reject mine."
He said flatly, not even turning to face the other, aware of the high amount of tension and the recent development. It mad Ren wonder if Yoseob was doing it all on purpose, or if he really didn't know the implications behind his actions. Seeing as how the Vampire had been on earth even longer than Ren, he was forced to go with the latter. It was just another aspect of the Don that intrigued the Fallen. After all, despite his face that carried about the same level of innocence as himself, Yoseob portrayed the typical cold, heartless and secretly mad leader that one expected of him. Yet there seemed to be a side, or maybe it was his whole identity, that was softer and shrouded in mystery. It made Ren's spine tingle at the desire to unravel those secrets and discover who the man that had interested him so much really was.
"You know Mister, I read in a book somewhere that as well as endorphins, it's possible for Vampires to release venom into their victim that is an aphrodisiac. In short, brings intense pleasure, as well as rendering the receiver helpless to their lusts and desires."
Even as he said it, a hint of mystery laced into his voice, he knew that this was one of the craziest things he could do. But then, that night that had been marked with his suicidal attempt was pretty much the worst he had gotten, and if this man had seen him like that, then what was there to hide? Ren slowly turned around to the other, leaning forward and letting his shirt slip completely off of his shoulder, the pale skin illuminated in the dim lighting as a unreadable smirk danced on his lips.
"I wonder if that's true... And I'd so dearly like to test it out. What do you say Mister? Will you have me tonight, and humor this insatiable curiosity of mine?"
"It's not strange at all." Yoseob said with a sigh. "You like what you like." He watched the shadow materialize and carry the now empty coffee mug out of the room. The Don's body tensed just a bit when the door shut, allowing the tension in the air to build as he heard the boy speak on the matter of lust and ity. He didn't let on, but the vampire found it hard to believe that the boy could've been anything other than inexperienced when it came to the topic of . It wasn't that he viewed the boy as innocent; it was simply that he couldn't imagine the boy as being interested in anybody enough to partake in with them.
"Personally?" Yoseob spoke as he met eyes with the fallen, a sly smirk spreading across his lips. "I don't have much free time. But when I do I enjoy doing a multitude of things, But I enjoy traveling, and sampling all of the flavors the world has to offer....If you catch my drift." A chuckle fell from the male's lips before he casually laid on the Fallen's bed, a disregard for boundaries being made obvious.
Ren raised an eyebrow at that new piece of information. It wasn't a foreign notion, seeing as how Vampires were popular topics in mythology even from long ago, and of course Ren had read so many books on the topic that any ordinary human would have lost track. It also gave him a general base knowledge of their weaknesses, like confirming the idea that the sunlight at least weakened them. But of course, he also found the ridiculous that usually covered the helpful. Vampires did not sparkle, he was most certain of that.
"So they act as a painkiller? That's very interesting, but I wonder if that would really work on me, since the supernatural have bodies that work differently. Mine works differently than most Fallen, as well. One of the many side effects of these oh so wonderful powers."
His tone was sarcastic as a small ribbon of shadow s up his arm, him watching it with barely a trace of amusement before snapping his fingers and banishing it back to the realm where it came from. He noticed the other looking at his book and briefly wondered if Yoseob read as well. Probably not, as he seemed to have a rather unusual and unhealthy obsession. They would have already taken over his room if it wasn't so big to begin with, and those were just the ones he hadn't read.
"I like books. They always stay the same no matter what you do to them, there's always more of them, and they're so much easier to cherish or throw away than any living being, No hassle, no lingering feelings or attachments, it's just so much less bothersome. They're just books and yet they're stories. I'm probably a bit strange, huh?"
He left the question open before continuing with a small, almost out of place smile on his face that had a tinge of ruefulness,
"If only they knew what I was. That I really have outlived them and seen things that they only could dream about. We all are. That's one thing every supernatural has in common, even if it's the only thing. You know Mister..." He trailed off, wondering if he was seeking sympathy or just sharing a story. Deciding on the latter, he continued, "Even as an angel, I was never pure. It's a strange feeling, you know. Looking around at everyone, claiming that you're like them when you know that it can't be further from the truth. /They/ spent centuries teaching me, training me for life on earth, or even in hell. In order to do that, I had to be used to the worst that they could throw at me, including... lust. Do you see what I'm saying? Most angels become Fallen after losing their ity, I had lost mine much earlier. That was back during when I was still fighting, when I still cared... so... It was painful. I guess there's some lingering feelings since I haven't let anyone touch me on earth...
But enough of my little sob story. What about you, Mister? Is there anything you remember, you desire that might be linked to when you were alive? Or if not, then what about you? What do you like, like to do, anything?"
He asked curiously as he finished his coffee, a shadow materializing to take it out the open door and shut it behind itself. As long as he had those cursed powers, might as well make use of them.
"Actually, many of them would. Once you get past the initial pinch, I think it triggers endorphins to be released or something." The vampire shrugged, draining his cup of coffee before he followed the blonde into his bedroom. He looked around in surprise as he saw the books lining the walls.
"So you really read all of this?" He asked curiously as he picked up a compilation of all of Poe's works. "I would've never pegged you for the type to read as a hobby."
His attention drifted over to Ren as he heard the last few words of the boy's sentence. In all honesty, Yoseob was a rather perceptive person, he often noticed things that others would deem insignificant details; however, when it came to romantic or ual advances, one would find that the male was rather dense. "If only they knew what?" The vampire asked in confusion, furrowing his brows.
"Of course I would pull away. Would anyone in their sane mind find the thought of a blood crazed vampire them dry at all appealing? Besides, like I told you, I had a test."
He said, not acknowledging two very important facts. One, based on his statement, he clearly was not sane, as proven by that night at the bar. Two, the Vampire bite had completely wreaked havoc on his body, even for that sort time, and he would always instinctively pull away. The shadows would make sure of that.
With a small sigh and no hesitation, Ren got down from the counter and grabbed himself a mug, pouring it half full of the black coffee and taking a sip, nodding to the other in appreciation. It was good stuff, and he liked it just like that. Dark and bitter. Kind of like what he used to be. It was almost nostalgic for him, but he quickly pushed that thought aside, instead choosing to noiselessly move towards an ornate yet elegant door on the far side. Holding the mug in one hand, he turned the knob and pushed it open, revealing his room. It was set in colors of grey and pale off white, three of the walls painted black. The style reflected the one in the main room, except there were neat stacks of books against all of the walls and lining the shelves. Books on anything from fantasy to sci-fi to reference and textbooks, he read them all in his free time.
"I actually skip classes most of the time, but since they think I have a freakish genius IQ the teachers let it slide. Along with my blonde hair and overall attitude problems, I don't think anyone sees me as having much of a future. If only they knew."
He said absently, sitting on the edge of his bed, sipping his coffee slowly, and looking at the other, wondering if Yoseob had picked up any of the ual innuendo that he had been half joking about.
"I suppose that would be rather interesting, now wouldn't it?" Yoseob sighed a bit, his smile fading a bit when he moved towards the mugs as they were pointed out to him, only retrieving one for himself. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Ren running his fingertips over the two marks on his neck. "They still haven't faded?" The brown-haired male asked, a frown tugging at the corner of his lips. "You must be a slow healer...But then again, you did pull away from me before I could finish..." He sighed, before shrugging.
Pulling the coffee pot away from the coffee maker when the last droplets of the brown fluid dripped from the machine, Yoseob poured himself a cup of coffee. As soon as the cup was 3/4 of the way full, he reached up to retrieve the sugar from one of the cabinets. "You keep it in the same place that I do." He added before he put two spoonfulls of sugar into the otherwise bitter roast that he had selected. He didn't say anything in regards to giving Ren coffee, yet at the same time he didn't speak out against it.
Leaning against the counter, he was quiet as he listened to Ren explain the reasoning behind his rather odd interior design choices. "So you're a minimalist." Yoseob nodded. "Interesting. Our apartments are completely different yet oddly similar." He paused when he heard the boy suggest entering his bedroom. "I would be interested in seeing it. It's rather odd to imagine you living the life of a student to be honest, especially when you've probably outlived even the teachers."
Ren noticed his reaction and decided to skip his normal, muted display of offense which was usually masked by indifference anyway. The other made a good point and he probably couldn't completely defend his own. Ren just liked making all of them come to him. If they weren't interested anymore, than why should he? Even the best entertainment got old someday, so might as well make it clean and simple to not give others the wrong idea and just make things more confusing and complicated. He didn't care. That was it.
"Well, unlike you, some of us use quite a few aliases, you know. And it's hardly normal for an average high school student to go asking around about the Don of one of the supernatural mafia factions, is it?"
He commented, his keen eyes noticing the seemingly rare smile on the Vampire's face. Ren decided to probe around in his mind a bit, but all he could come up with was that Yoseob liked the drink and made a habit of drinking it. Either there wasn't anything else to it, or there was and the other was blocking him from finding out more.
Ren's fingers unconsciously went to his neck, the skin exposed where he still bore the faint remnants of a scar. He made no move to adjust his shirt, either to fix it or pull it down even more, instead just returning his hand to resting on the edge of the counter, his legs swinging almost childishly about a foot off the floor since he was sitting back.
"Mugs are in the top cabinet, to the left. I'd like to have some as payment for my coffee machine tonight, if you don't mind."
He suggested, not really expecting the other to give him some while at the same time thinking that he would. The Vampire Boss was an enigma to him, yet it felt like he had already solved a lot of the puzzle. Interesting, and most certainly worth his time.
"I do live here. It's just that very little in life entertains me enough to possess it and that which does is usually unobtainable or simply unwilling. And I hate the color pure white, if you're talking about the general scheme of the way I dress and what my apartment looks like. The carpet was going to be grey but the people from the company strongly suggested against such a 'garish color' for the floor of my main room. Maybe they were right, but I would have liked it grey anyway."
He continued absently, realizing how much he was talking only when he stopped. It made the visit seem more casual, between two friends or acquaintances, rather than mortal enemies.
"Of course Mister, I do live the life of a student. But that's all in my bedroom. We could take a look, if you're really that curious."
"Well I'm pretty sure if you recognized me as a Don, I wasn't giving you a fake name." Yoseob commented with a snide smirk and a roll of his grey eyes. "Besides, you didn't have to hack into any system. It's not exactly a secret that I live here. You could've asked anyone in the area. I'm pretty well known in these parts, seeing as it's /my/ territory." He watched as the coffee began to trickle into the pot, the comforting, familiar aroma summoning a smile to the vampire's face. With a soft sigh, Yoseob adjusted his tie, smirking at Ren as he made a comment about the fact he was making coffee.
"What? I have to be awake if I'm going to watch you splatter onto the pavement." He glibly remarked, shrugging as he turned to see the boy sitting on the counter. He was a bit surprised to see Ren there, seeing as he hadn't been paying close enough attention to hear the light footfalls of the other as he approached the Don; however, he didn't show his surprise. The older man's gaze slowly raked over the other's lithe body, noting the pale skin of the Angel's shoulder that was exposed to him. "You have a bad habit of offering me temptation, little one." He voiced his thoughts out loud, briefly glancing up through his light brown bangs to meet Ren's gaze.
"You know, this place is kind of dreary." He commented, deciding to quickly switch the topic. Not out of discomfort, but because of the fact that he knew it would simply lead to the end of a conversation that the vampire deemed ever so interesting. "It seems like you hardly even live here at all."
The sound of footsteps outside his door had been largely ignored by Ren, thinking that it was one of the other tenants stumbling home late at night for some unimportant reason or another. But then the knob on his turned and he threw a glance over his shoulder, making sure it wasn't some mistaken mortal or a Vampire with an intent to kill, before turning back to his idle examination of the night sky.
"I'm sure you didn't want me to go hacking into your system, and how was I supposed to know whether you gave me your real name? I'm not even sure if I gave you mine."
He replied, not even bothering to look as the Vampire made himself comfortable in his apartment, rummaging through his kitchen. The Fallen didn't really care to indulge in the gaudy extravagances that were often found in this section of town. Instead, his apartment was simple, with a sleek look that was surprisingly clean for a boy his age.. or at least the age he projected. The kitchen was rarely used, as he preferred to just pick up some street food rather than try his hand at cooking, and thus it lacked the customary stack of dirty dishes that usually cluttered the sink.
A familiar smell reached his nose as a bag was opened. Even though his senses weren't supernaturally enhanced, he could recognize that scent from a mile away.
"Coffee. You're warning me about obviously imminent death while making coffee."
He commented absently, closing his eyes for a second to lose himself in the open night air and the feeling that if he let go, if he pushed off, he could be free. But all of that was false. It would only mean more pain for him, and seeing as how upset his boss was the last time he took a forced leave, another would probably not be a good idea.
"Still, what brings you here to my humble abode at this time of night, Mister? If you're here for the rent, I could have sent it to you tomorrow morning at a less unearthly hour."
He said, opening his eyes and slipping back inside, bare feet padding lightly over the off white carpet. He wasn't wearing his traditional hat and scarf since he hadn't really been expecting company. Or maybe he had and just didn't care. Either way, the Fallen was now wearing grey sweatpants and a loose, long sleeved black shirt that almost slid off his shoulder, the sleeves almost reaching past his hands. He had forsaken wearing anything or having anything pure white since he was kicked out of Heaven, as a sign of his rebellion. Thus, even his apartment gave off a slightly gloomy feel, as he hopped up onto the black granite counter of the kitchen, facing the other and examining him briefly.
Yoseob was climbing up to his apartment, carrying a small bag of coffee grounds with him. Reaching the top of the flight of the stairs, the don opened the door that led into the corridor. There was nobody in sight, and that was how the Don liked it. Then again, maybe it had something to do with the hour of the night that explained why the tenants of the building that he owned weren't out and about. The other vampires all probably had something better to do than be at home, and the humans were all sleeping.
Passing through the empty hallway, the vampire paused when he caught a familiar scent wafting from behind one of the doors. How had he never noticed it before? Well, he was never home in the first place, so it was somewhat understandable. Taking a brief glance at the door number, Yoseob couldn't help but to scoff. "You've gotta be kidding me." He muttered, realizing it was the apartment number that hadn't been paying rent lately. Instinctively, the Don's hand went to the doorknob, turning it. Finding that the door opened with ease, the baby faced vampire casually waltzed into the Fallen's apartment.
"You know, you could've just come to knock on my door if you wanted to see me. I live down the hall anyways. Or are kids these days too lazy to do their research?" As if he owned the place—and technically he did—Yoseob went into the kitchen, plugging up the coffee maker, and rummaging through the cabinets until he found coffee filters. He glanced over to the french doors that opened out into the balcony and he saw the blonde perched on the railing. "You don't have wings anymore. So don't slip, because I don't think you'll feel so great after a tumble like that." A throaty chuckle left the man's lips as he placed the filter into the coffee maker and spooned in enough coffee to make a pot before filling the maker with water and turning it on.
Ren sat on the railing of balcony of his apartment, the dizzying drop doing nothing to prevent him from smiling wryly to himself. Living in the middle of Vampire territory probably wasn't the most sane idea, but then, when was he ever? Inevitably, his thoughts wandered to Yoseob. It hadn't really been that long, maybe a little more than a week, than when they last met. But it could be centuries and the memories would still be as crystal clear in his mind. It had been another failed suicide attempt, and the shadows had almost consumed him again. It was a constant hidden fear of his, although not necessarily a weakness. Anyone who tried to exploit his "other half" would be sorely disappointed.. and dead.
But only recently had he been wondering if Yoseob lived around here. Knowing him, he probably owned the place. For that very reason, Ren had refused to pay rent that month. His name would probably pop up somewhere in the system. To anyone who didn't know better, which included almost all of the Vampires, he was just a lazy spoiled brat that was making things difficult. Hopefully though, it would be noticed by a certain Vampire Boss. After all, he had plenty of time on his hands, like always. And the Fallen so desperately needed another form of entertainment.
