The camp resides in the middle of Republic City-only a few minutes away from the City Park by the public bus. It is here where all nonbenders come to master the way of their weapons and learn many priceless life lessons from their masters. The nonbenders training camp was originally founded by Amon and his men and as a Chi blocking camp, but since most civilians have already learned that skill, it was quickly reformed into a practice facility.
