The moment that she heard the door close, Qri immediately locked the door. She sighed and sunk down against her bed. She was finally alone. Alone. The word made her shiver as she realized that her family had no idea what happened. She hoped they wouldn't worry, even though she was losing control herself. She wondered why the king would do such a cruel thing. As if her peasant life wasn't hard enough, now she was trapped in a beautiful yet dangerous place. Qri laid there for a few more minutes before sitting up and staring at the wall. She checked her lock several times because it was the only thing she could do.

Takuya led the girl up the stairs and to the front of the guest's door. The butler unlocked the door and opened it, allowing the female to go inside. "This is your room, Mistress Qri Lee. Please stay inside until we call you for dinner," he said, a smile plastered on his otherwise empty face. "Remember to lock your door," Takuya continued before closing the door behind him.
