❧ Earth Kingdom. [Dorm]

@[Earth] Chanyeol Zelo smiled politely when Chanyeol opened the door.
"Sorry if I woke you. Nobody's dying or anything... It's just that my hamster got out." He looked down the hallway just to make sure he didn't see the little creature anywhere.
"The thing is he's kind of mean." His gaze returned to Chanyeol. "I don't want anyone to get hurt... or hurt him, you know? Would you mind helping me look for him?"

@[Earth] Zelo A sudden knock on the door had Chanyeol sitting up right in his bed. He made his way over to the door and opened it quickly. "What's wrong, Zelo? Why the hurry?" Chanyeol wasn't so sure exactly what was going on, but the tone of the other's voice sounded very urgent.

@[Earth] Chanyeol Zelo turned around and ran full speed to Chanyeol's room. He banged on the door as loudly as he could, attempting to get the other's attention.
"Chanyeol-hyung! It's Zelo. Could you help me out really quick?"

@[Earth] Zelo "I'm always around so it won't be hard to do so," he chuckled. "Really? Thanks then," he grinned, gladly accepting the figurine. "I'll see you around, Zelo~" he called after the other with a wave goodbye before making his way to his room.

@[Earth] Chanyeol "Oh yeah." He laughed softly. "Thanks. I'll find you when I need help then, Chanyeol."
Zelo held the figurine out to the other. "You can keep it if you want; I've kind of made too many."
"I'll see you around then!" He waved goodbye before going out to find another rock.

@[Earth] Zelo Chanyeol chuckled at the boy's excitement and nodded. "Really. I'm your leader after all, it's my job to help out people who ask or need it," he said with a grin. Holding the small figurine in his hand, Chanyeol examined the object, completely intrigured in the fine detail of it. "This really is amazing," he said in awe, turning it around in his hold before returning it to its owner. "Good luck on that then~"

@[Earth] Chanyeol "Yeah. I guess I'll keep reading about it." The books did help him with certain things, but progress was slow. He just had to wait.
Zelo nearly jumped out of excitement."Really?! It would be an honor." He was happy to have a training buddy, especially an earthbender. Chanyeol being dorm leader was like icing on the cake.
"Thanks, it's actually really easy with practice." He handed Chanyeol the miniature. "That's not a bad idea; I'll take that advice!"

@[Earth] Zelo Thinking for a moment, Chanyeol nodded as the other told him, absorbing the information. "I see. Well, if reading works even in the slightest, then you can try continuing with that? And you can practice what you learn with me if you want," he offered with a grin. Chanyeol stood in front of the younger with wide eyes, fixated on the small figure he held in his hands. "Woah, that's actually really cool. I've never tried rock sculpting before. You've got talent, kid," he said with a nod of approval. "Mind if I...hold it?" he asked, pointing to the rock figure in the other's hand. "Seems like creativity is more your thing. Rather than practicing the fighting type of skills, try using what your good at and form your own style of fighting?" he suggested with a tilt of his head.

@[Earth] Chanyeol Zelo nodded. "They must have been really surprised." He almost thought about his own parents. He stopped that before it got ugly.
Zelo took a second to think. "Um, I've read a lot of books on earthbending technique. It helps a bit. Um...Oh yeah!"
From his pocket, he pulled out a small rock in the shape of a rocking horse.
"I've also been practicing sculpting with rocks. I have a whole bunch of figurines in my room like an old lady." He laughed.
"I've also been practicing fighting skills, but it's not meshing for some reason." He pursed his lips, feeling a bit dejected.

@[Earth] Zelo With a laugh, Chanyeol nodded and waved off the matter, "What other ways have you tried aside from meditating?" he asked, generally curious and wanting to help the kid out. "Nope, just normal humans. So you can imagine how surprised they were to have a son who was a bender," he chuckled fondly at the memory of when his uncle had told him their reaction. Taken aback a bit by the other's exclamation, Chanyeol laughed and shook his head. "Well, thanks," he said as he thought for a moment about any tips he could give the other. "Hm~ Let's see what you can do first and maybe I can see where you need help?" he offered, seeing a bit of himself when he was a young child, eager to learn when his uncle had offered to him. He wanted to help as much as he could.

@[Earth] Chanyeol "Yeah, you're right." He smiled. "I don't think meditation is helping me out too much." He laughed, half believing his statement, half wanting an excuse to never have to meditate again without feeling bad.
"Really? Your parents aren't benders?" He asked rhetorically. "That's interesting." Chanyeol's story ade him respect the dorm leader even more.
"You're so cool!" he exclaimed. "Do you have any tips? I need all of the help I can get."

@[Earth] Zelo "I guess you could say that," he chuckled and made his way closer to the other. "Don't sweat it though, these things come differently to others. Maybe you just need to find the right way of learning," he grinned and ruffled the latter's hair.
"Well, the earth-bending kind of skipped over their generation so they didn't really want me hurting myself or others, I guess," he said with a shrug.

@[Earth] Chanyeol Zelo listened intently to Chanyeol's story. He could relate quite well; when he was young, he was a bit of a bratty child. It wasn't until later that he started being more responsible.
"No, you're not boring. Not at all..." He shook his head. "So it was natural talent with you, then. So unfair." He sighed jokingly and leaned against a wall.
"Why would your parents be against you using your talents, though? If you don't mind my asking." He continued to fiddle with the rock.

@[Earth] Zelo "I know how that is," Chanyeol said lightly, a knowing smile gracing his face. "I'm not really a meditating type of person myself," he chuckled, leaning against the wall he was standing by as he crossed his arms in front of his chest. "Me?" he hummed lowly to himself, thinking over the question. "I guess it just came naturally to me," he said more to himself, pursing his lips as he thought back to his past. "When I was a kid, my parents didn't really encourage me on using my abilities. But you know how kids get when they're told not to do something, right?" he laughed. "I guess I was more of a rebel child, figuring things out on my own and doing what I wanted, my way. I used to sneak into this training class my uncle taught and watch quietly from the back of the room, trying out what I'd seen on my own. My uncle finally caught me and started to teach me, but it turned out I learned better from watching and observing rather than being taught directly," he explained then noticed he'd started rambling. "Whoops, sorry if I bored you with all that..." he laughed, running a hand through his hair.

@[Earth] Chanyeol Zelo smiled. Chanyeol was so chill.
"I was, but don't worry about it. I'm pretty sure that if I'd continued, I would have wound up screaming anyway. Meditation is really hard, you know." He stretched to get rid of some cramps he built up. "I feel like I'm way to fidgety for it."
He pulled out a small rock from his pocket, and started fiddling with it.
"How'd you get so good at bending anyway, Chanyeol?"

@[Earth] Zelo Rather than the noise the book had made when it fell, the sound that came from the boy was more startling. "Nah, don't worry about it," waved it off dissmissively, he recognized the other as Zelo, the only other male within the earth kingdom as of current. "And no need to be so formal with calling me that," he frowned in distaste to the title, "just Chanyeol is fine," he grinned. "Were you meditating just now? Sorry for disrupting your quiet time," he smiled apologetically, rubbing the back of his head.

@[Earth] Chanyeol "GAH!" Zelo flipped onto his stomach in shock. A random loud noise immediately took him out of his mild trance-like state.
"What was that?! Who's there?!" He whirled his head to see Chanyeol standing nearby with a fat book on the ground. It was pretty obvious what had happened.
He stood up quickly, embarrassed.
"Hello, dorm leader." He said, laughing nervously. "Sorry for taking up so much space..." He rubbed the back of his neck.

@[Earth] Zelo Chanyeol entered the dorm, whistling to himself as he walked around looking for something to entertain himself with. In the middle of the hall, there sat a boy with his eyes closed, obstructing the path to the other half of the hall. He had seemed to be concentrating and meditating. Although Chanyeol was one who had little to no liking for concentration, he didn't like to disturb others who were obviously trying to. Trying to walk around the boy, he'd accidentally knocked over a book from the shelf, causing a loud thud. He winced at the sound, hoping he hadn't disturbed the other, which wasn't likely unless he'd been too far gone in his meditation.

Zelo sat in the middle of the hallway: legs crossed and eyes closed. He was meditating, trying to dissociate himself from the noises of the surrounding. His goal was not peace, but grounding. He'd been trying to focus on being more mature, especially as an earthbender. He learned of the importance of listening and reacting, and meditation is one of the best ways for him to hone that attitude.

Chorong knocked the door. "Is anyone here?"

Ever since Bomi found out that she is not one of the normal kids in school but a kid with an undeniably incredible ability, she had been having trouble accepting this fact. Not until a long time friend had introduced her to this school. Bomi felt so drained and spent like an empty vessel, sitting on one of the grand dorm's window sills, Bomi found herself staring at the moon's light reflection on the water from the fountain outside the dorm. Wondering if she was powerful enough to manipulate the earth, Bomi closed her eyes, relaxed her muscles and few moments later she opened her eyes in a speed of bullets then sets of ivy climbed up the fountain until this got covered in pure greeness and the water eventually stopped flowing. Satisfied with her work, Bomi stood up and sighed happilly as she sauntered down the hall way. And every window she walked past, she would look at the fountain.
