@Nana Yongguk hummed softly and nodded. "I know of a few places where you can test it, What kinds of settings are you looking for?" He asked in response as he took a sip from the cool bottle in his hands.
@Yongguk Nana nodded and kept sharpening her blade,"hey dragon soup do you know a place where i can test my blade out?" SHe asked without looking at him and looked at her blade checking if she was satisfied with it
@Nana Yongguk pursed his lips and nodded before he went to the small kitchen and pulled a couple bottles of water from the fridge. he brought one out to the girl and set it in front of her. "No problem, Nana."
@Yongguk Nana took the block and grinned,"Thanks Dragon Soup" She giggled softly and sat down on his sofa. She started to sharpen her genji's blade and concentrated hard.
@Nana Yongguk shook his head softly and smiled a bit. "I guess so," He said. He closed the door and shuffled to his room. He grabbed the sharpening block for his knife and turned around to face the girl, handing it to her.
@Nana Yongguk walked into the complex and promptly made his way up the stairs. "I live on the third floor and the elevator is broken," he muttered as an explanation over his shoulder to the stranger. "I'm Yongguk by the way," he introduced himself as he took his keys from his pocket and unlocked the door.
@Yongguk Nana liked the quiet atmosphere that was in the car. She didn't talk much anyways. To her it was peaceful not having to talk.Nana waited until the car parked and stopped the engine and soon got out after him, following him to where had his blade sharpener.
@Nana Yongguk waited until the girl was in the car before he started driving on a trashy path towards where he knew the exit closest to his place was. The dump was like a mysterious island and Yongguk the pirate always itching to explore it. the drive was silent, which Yongguk really didn't mind. The quiet blanketed over them almost comfortably as he drove along the smooth paved roads, the engine roaring, a sound that he rather enjoyed to hear. They neared an apartment complex, and Yongguk pulled into the first empty parking spot he could find before he got out. "come on," He muttered as he walked to the building.
@Yongguk Nana nodded and opened the car door in the passenger's seat and sat on the old, yet still comfy car seat. She held her genji and placed it over her lap.
@Nana Yongguk nodded and offered a small crooked smile. "yeah you can use it," he replied as he lowered himself in to the car. He could feel the multiple knives each concealed and hidden so as to not startle anyone. "Get in," he said through the rolled down window as he turned the key in the rusted car, grinning again as it roared to life.
@Yongguk Nana looked at him and dropped the old sharpener and walked closer to him," C-could I use it?" She spoke softly as she didn't like being loud. She gripped her genji tightly, her guard up as always.
@Nana Yongguk watched the other curiously as she picked up his old blade sharpener. He Watched curiously. "Hey, it's really not that great for sharpening anymore," he muttered, watching the girl. "I have a better one you could use at my place. I'll give you aride if you want." He nodded at the car. She seemed alright, but he still had his guard up. Nonetheless he saw no reason to not help.
@Yongguk She wondered at how long he has been working on the car. She slowly approached the car staring at it with curious eyes. It needed a few touch ups but it could be done easily. As he discarded items she saw a small block of the material she needed to sharpen her blade. She walked over to it in a hurry and smiled to herself,"Finally. I was looking everywhere for you," She spoke to herself softly and bent down to pick it up.
@Nana A grin broke out on Yongguk's face and he shut the car off again. He got out and closed the hood gently, picking up the discarded supplies and throwing them to a pile of the dump. "Now all you need is a good paint job and you'll be good as new," He muttered, unable to contain his grin.
@Yongguk Nana jumped as she heard a shout nearby and looked towards the sound. She approached the car and was surprised to find it back to life. It looked like it wouldn't work at all. She wondered how he had done it, surely he was really good ith this kind of stuff.
@Nana Yongguk heard some noise and saw a slim figure move from his peripheral. He looked up momentarily and saw the girl moving, rummaging for something. He didn't know if approaching someone he'd seen in the dump was a good idea so he bent over the engine he'd been slowly piecing back together. He pulled of the old and ratty timing belt and replaced it with one he'd purchased brand new. "Come on, baby," He muttered as he refilled the brake fluids and oils, tightening up a few places. "I just need a little something." He'd had a key made for the car a while ago and he opened the door. Once he slid the key into the ignition and turned it, the car roared to life and he let out a triumphant shout.
@Yongguk Nana saw move movement through the side of her eye and immediately tensed up. She turned around and watched the person jog up to an old car. She hasn't seeh one of those in a while. She wondered why he would take intrest on such a rusty old thing. She just shrugged and trudged up another pile of trash looking for what she needed. Her thoughts occupied her and she thought, Why would he try and fix it when there is a strong chance of it not working. This was the dump after all, they have a reason o throw out thing that have been used nd dn't work anymore.
@Nana Yongguk felt another presence close by but he chose to ignore it. Instead, he powered up the slopes of trash until he neared the top of the piles. His eyes swept the barren terrain and a smile curled his lips upwards. There it was.
He jogged down the other side of the slope he had just climbed, stumbling over a few loose pieces of trash but managing to catch himself each time. A faded rusted thunderbird was there, hood up and his tools just how he had left them. Now with the piece in his back pocket felt like a weight that he needed to rid of into that car.
Yongguk had visited this car many times before over the last few months. He spent all his free time working on this car, slowly rebuilding the engine, cleaning the interior and bringing the beautiful thing back to life. Now he had another piece to the never ending beautiful puzzle, and he was convinced that he was close to restoring it, bringing her back to life.
@Yongguk Nana walked up and down through the piled high trash in the dump. She was looking for things she could us that could help her sharpen her blade. She didn't particularly like the dump, there were some useful things she found, but se couldn't stand the stench of the the rest of the garbage made. Mold, old food, rat feces here and there.
Nana carefully mad her way up and down the area trying not to trip or fall. She stumbled as the pile of trash wobbled as she climbed up the pile. She sighed as she spent almost 2 hours looking for something useful. She didn't want to stay here any longer.
@Nana There was something Yongguk loved about the grime of the Dump. Maybe it was also that he could find something interesting there, no matter what. Either way, he didn't care. As he shuffled to the dump he stretched his arms over his head, yawning softly. This was what he wanted to do, get some time alone, only he had a hard time getting it anywhere but this place. Now he entered the dump and started climbing up the expanse of stuff, his eyes sweeping the terrain for anything that might be of interest.
A soft relieve sigh escaped his lips. This was it, nothing would bother him here. People often stayed away from this area, thinking the grime was gross. But not him, no Yongguk found something romantic in the grime. Like this would be where he'd take someone on a date during the apocolypse.
Dahyun is leaving.
School is getting to be a handful, and I don't want to keep a spot that someone else could play a lot better than me.
I wish that I could've came to know you all better, bye <3
