@Jieun(IU) Gain looked up at the teenager's hand and blinked, a bit confused what the other girl wanted. Her expression warmed up to a friendly smile as she heard Jieun's words. Friends? Of course she wanted to have friends in the institution, at least they would understand better than her friends outside the asylum. "Sure, you seem to be really nice too Jieun," the older girl said and took the girl's hand, standing up again.
@Gain Noticing the other's change of mood, Jieun stepped toward her tentatively, offering a hand. She wod need friends if she wanted to survive in this hellhole and, although the older girl had some problems, the teenager was willing to overlook that to get to know the other better."You seem nice enough, Gain. Let's be friends?" she said with a rare smile, looking into the latter's eyes kindly, hoping not to be rejected.
@Jieun(IU) Gain smiled softly as she saw the younger girl's pout. It was quite adorable, she thought. Actually Jieun was really cute now that she thought of it. Nodding slightly, Gain listened to the other girl's words. It was understandable, in some way the knives were comforting. "I see.. Knives really keep the bad people away," she said and looked at the girl in front of her reassuringly. Although the razors were completely different from knives for Gain, she could identify with Jieun when it came to the emotional attachment to the sharp objects. Razors made her feel like she had at least some power to decide what to do, yet they still worked as a punishment for herself. Lost in her thoughts, Gain sat down on the bathroom floor and sighed. How could her mind be so complicated she didn't even know what the razors meant to her?
@Gain A small, rare pout appeared on the young girl's lips as she heard the other chuckle; had she said something amusing? Pushing the thought away, Jieun thought of how she could respond to the older girl's question without scaring her away. "Well...I feel safer with my knives with me. And they keep away the bad people," she said slowly. Without her knives, the hallucinations would go away quickly. But when she didn't have them, then the monsters would leave; they just stayed and taunted her. And to be honest, the knife that Sehun had taken, was the blade that she used to kill her bastard of a father. It was her pride and joy.
@Jieun(IU) "Then we have to be really careful. And if the plan fails after all, I wouldn't give a damn anymore to be honest. I'm going to stick here quite a while anyway," the older girl answered and chuckled a bit, slightly amused how the teenager was acting like she was the older one. Her amused face turned into a questioning one as a thought came up to her mind. Why did Jieun like knives so much? "What's so special in your knife?" she asked and tilted her head.
@Gain Jieun returned the grin as the older girl agreed to her idea. But she had to warn her of the consequences. "It's a risk, though. The doctor will extend our time here if he catches us. You sure you're up for it?" she asked; Jieun was fine with it because the young girl knew she wasn't getting out for a long time. The doctor had already added six more years to her time spent here and she was expecting more years to be added soon. She had no plan on behaving in this hospital.
@Jieun(IU) Gain looked at the younger girl and nodded, staying quiet. This time she was glad for being in the mental institute, if she had told that to her friends they would have called her a freak. Again. Gain sighed and looked up, grinning as she heard the other woman's suggestion. "That would be so perfect. I miss my babies~"
@Gain "Really?" Jieun asked curiously. She wondered if razors made Gain feel better the way that knives made the young girl feel better. Deciding that she would ask her about that later, she grinned at the older girl, formulating a plan in her mind. "You know...we should raid the doctor's office one of these days and get back our stuff."
@Jieun(IU) "Then could you give it to me later?" Gain asked and tilted her head a bit. She looked away as she heard the other girl's question, a bit embarrassed of that she actually used razors for herself. "I-I.. Razors make me feel better..."
@Gain "Sure, but I don't have it on me. It's in my room," the teenage girl nodded. "But why do you want a razor?" she asked again this time more firmly.
@Jieun(IU) Gain looked up at the younger girl and grinned slightly. "Could you possibly give it to me? I am in need of one, the doctor took mine away.." She said and nodded a bit. It really wasn't that urgent but walking around without a razor was making her feel insecure, like she didn't have something to rely on when she was having an anxiety attack.
@Gain "Yep, I have knives," she smiled and nodded, pulling one from underneath her blouse with a chuckle before slipping it back into it's place. "Razors?" she blinked, unsure as to why the older woman would want razors. The teen had only one handy and that was one that she had managed to find in the doctor's office while snooping. "I have one. Why?"
@Jieun(IU) Gain chuckled and nodded. "You can call me anything you want, I don't really care," she said and smiled, glancing at her reflection from the mirror before turning back to the younger girl. "You have knives with you?" Gain asked, a bit surprised that the doctor hadn't really noticed them. A thought came up to her mind and she bit her lip a bit. "..You didn't happen to have any razors with you, did you?" she asked quietly and looked at the ground.
@Gain Jieun pondered over the question before answering with a grin. "I dunno. I just like calling you, dear," she shrugged and chuckled. "Yeah, I know I'm pretty young. I get that a lot," she rubbed her nape sheepishly. "You're right, it's not allowed. But nothing is allowed here. The doctor is so strict about everything. But he's not too bright," she smiled deviously,"I managed to keep all my knives and cigarettes."
@Jieun(IU) Gain thanked the younger girl and put her shirt on, smoothing out any wrinkles that were on the fabric. She looked up at the other woman and tilted her head slightly. "Why are you calling me dear?" she asked and chuckled, looking into the mirror and fixing her hair a bit. "You're fifteen? So young~" Gain said and smiled softly, examining the latter's face more. As Jieun pulled out the cigarette, the older girl blinked a bit and shook her head. "No, go ahead. But just in case you didn't know, it's not really allowed here." she said and chuckled, leaning her back against the wall.
@Gain Jieun giggled softly at Gain's reaction to seeing her lighter; it was pretty cute. The older girl overall was pretty cute. After a few more moments, she removed the shirt from under the dryer, carefully handing it to the girl before her. "Here you go, dear," she gave her an eyesmile and turned off the hair dryer. "You're older than me. I'm turned fifteen a few months ago," she nodded whilst looking into the mirror, fixing her hair, then applying light makeup. Reaching into her pocket, the young teen pulled out a strawberry cigarette and turned to the older girl. "Will it bother you if I...?" she trailed off and motioned to the cigarette in her hand. She didn't want to scare the other girl off...she was the only other patient she had met so far and Gain seemed rather kind, although at first, slightly bothersome.
@Jieun(IU) Gain looked at the lighter with wide eyes, a bit shocked that the girl carried such thing with her. She let out a relieved sigh, happy that the younger one had put it away just in case she had actually wanted to burn her shirt. Gain ran fingers through her hair as she waited for her shirt to dry, looking at the girl in front of her and chuckling at her joke. "It's nice to meet you Jieun. I'm nineteen years old, and you? You look pretty young~"
@Gain Sighing softly, Jieun shook her head, giving the other a slightly twisted smile. "I know what I'm doing, dear. Even if I wanted it to burn, it wouldn't. I'm using a hair dryer, not a match or something. If I planned on burning your shirt, I could use this," the young teen smirked and held out a lighter in one hand, still carefully handling the shirt in the other. Slipping the lighter back in her pocket, she felt the fabric, deeming that it was now only half-wet. The older girl seemed harmless. Then again, they all did. Right before they hurt her. She stood carefully with it once again under the hair dryer, leaning against the wall with a sincere, yet slight smile on her face. "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Gain. The name's Lee Jieun, but you can call me tonight," the teen winked and chuckled at her lame joke. "How old are you, dear?"
@Jieun(IU) "Be careful with the hair dryer, I don't want my shirt to be burned or something.." Gain said and looked at the teenager worriedly. She raised her eyebrows at the sudden question, blinking and feeling a bit confused from the girl's cold behavior. "I'm Gain. What's your name?" she asked and tilted her head to the side, giving her a small, friendly smile.
@Gain "Yes, good," Jieun repeated, slowly feeling her anger dissipate as all the stains disappeared, hoping that the woman would calm down. The young girl then took the wet fabric over to the hair dryer, holding it carefully and smoothed it out a little as the warm air blew onto the wet fabric. As she waited impatiently, she turned to the older girl. "Who are you?" the teen asked bluntly, looking at the latter carefully with a cold gaze.
@Jieun(IU) Gain was being dragged to the bathroom by the girl, a bit confused by what the younger one had said to her. Chill? What did she mean? She was chill, at least as chill as she could be in a situation like that. What if people would see her like that, they would totally feel disgusted for being so stained and sleazy. As Gain watched the girl wash her shirt she felt her breathing getting normal again. "The stains are gone, good... Good, the stains are gone.." she said quietly and looked at the fabric that was now wet.
@Gain "Chill." Jieun rolled her eyes as the older woman blamed her with teary eyes. That woman had better watch out- the teen had a very short temper and a very active violent side. It didnt take much for her to lose it. Groaning, the girl dragged the other into the bathroom and quickly pimpled off the shirt, beginning to wash it carefully, watching as the stains slowly began to disappear.
@Jieun(IU) The woman took the napkins and rubbed them against the stains but the food had already colored the fabric. As she tried to clean herself, Gain felt the tears of frustration building up to her eyes. "This is not good, it's so dirty.. too much stains, it looks so unclean... what do I do, what do I do?" she mumbled to herself, not really paying attention to the younger girl's apologies. She looked up at the teenager and gritted her teeth. "This is all your fault! It's not getting off!" she said loudly and pointed at the large food stain.
@Gain As soon as the teenager saw the other's overreaction to the simple spill, Jieun knew that the woman in front of her had OCD. Sighing softly, she carefully passed a neat stack of napkins to the older girl, while trying her best not to cause any more bother to the latter. The person in front of her was already breathing irregularly and loosing her cool- the young girl was never good with handling situations like these. She. Simply just did not have the patience to deal with such people. It would be wise on her part to calm the other down. If she could. "I'm really sorry, miss." She bowed formally a few times and kept her gaze lowered to the ground.
