Ken sat Daniel in his high chair as he start to make dinner. His little boy was old enough to be eating big boy foods. He was making the rice when he heard a little voice. "Umma" Daniel said with a smile. Ken turned and went to him. "Umma? Say it again, Daniel. Say umma again." He said happily. Daniel said it again and again as he laughed and clapped his hands. Ken clapped softly along with him as he said his first words.
Ken was holding Daniel's hand as he tried to stand he let him go and he fell with a little bump, but he didn't cry. he got back up, holing the arm rest of the bed to stand. Daniel stood up on his own as he held onto the armrest. Ken laughed happily and clapped. Daniel smiled and let go to clap, too. Then, he fell again with a little thump. Daniel giggles along with his umma.
Ken smiled down at Daniel. He was a few months old now. He was producing tears and smiling and opening his eyes. He couldn't wait for him to grow up. "Umma loves you, always." He said, smiling down.
