"I'll eat something soon" Jongin told him as he made sure the room was safe, he was tired from going through the night, looking for things, "I'll check later on" he replied as he went into the kitchen, taking another can and opening it, it had peaches in it as well as he sat back down on the couch. His expression softened as he watched Kyungsoo, putting a hand on his shoulder, "it's not the best kind of food but it'll do, how about you look through the cans, there might be something better" he told him, as he ate his own, he got used to it over time.
"And maybe we'll see what we can do about the shower later on" He added, not exactly used to talking like this, it had been around two years, but it was needed right now and he wasn't a jerk, well not right now.

"Kyungsoo, I know I just said if you didn't want it, you didn't have to eat it but you do" Jongin told him as he handed him the open can of peaches, he was still emotional cold about it but the actions alone showed that he cared, only going for the cans because they lasted much longer then normal food would, he stood up, "you eat and I'll check the rest of the house, there were closed doors, I just didn't care much to open" he told him, it was why he kept silent in case there was something else besides them around.
"The time? Eh it's light outside but not that bright" Jongin replied thoughtful as he remembered what it was like outside, "so I'd say that it was morning or around that time" he added. He ditched his watch before, but he did have batteries, he was saving those up though.
"The time really doesn't matter much... There is water in the crate over there, there's a dead thing in the bath and shower, their dead" he told him as he went to explain things, by saying their dead, he meant he killed them already, he didn't check the bedrooms or any other room but the bathroom, toliet, kitchen and the room they were in now, "so I'd say if you want to be clean, use the sink... Tell me first though. Any questions?"

"You don't remember me? How cold" Jongin replied as he looked up at Kyungsoo, maybe he hasn't made a move to let him know he had remembered and it had been a long time since but any other time it would of made him laugh, the days of EXO were clearly well behind them and although it would of been nice to have them back, he didn't stand around wishing for something that wouldn't happen.
"Well okay, just call me Kai, that's all I'm saying" He told him with a cold cut tone, as he moved his hands behind his head as he watched the male he picked up from the streets, it seemed like he picked up a cross bow from somewhere, maybe a weapon shop like he had before it was completely raided and destroyed, people had started to panick not that he didn't blame them, much. But he tried to always keep a cool head about things, he almost died once and that was enough. He stood up, taking a can of food and started to heat up the heat up stove, looked like he would feed someone else too.
"We'll be eating this" He told him speaking again as he watched the can then at him, "if you don't like it, then your not going to eat anything."

Jongin was locking the place up, it would of been dark inside the house if not for the candles, which only was lighting up one room, the one they were in, he was quiet as he worked, not used to company that could actually speak and didn't try to eat him, when he was done, he threw himself on the couch he moved in the room, staring up at the roof thoroughly, really listening for sounds outside or sounds of something that would mean trouble.
He glanced over at him, he had may as well ask the question, "were you alone?" He questioned, being stuck with one person was enough. He may not had looked like it but he was tired, he couldn't sleep especially with a stranger present.

Annoyance flashed through his expression, Jongin wasn't the best at talking to people, the zombies had clearly affected his social skills because he wouldn't of thought of just shutting his safety place, for now anyway and let the horde that was going to pass through have him, it wasn't like he didn't have other things to deal with like surviving. His expression chances as he steps a side a little.
"Well?" He called over, as he frowned looking through the streets, it wasn't like he didn't trust the word safe in the morning but he didn't, it was a city, they had lot of people that didn't make it through this sickness and whatever it was. He didn't care anymore, Kai tries to not care about anything these days, well just himself. He was staring the male down and what he picked to wear, well that was stupid.
Kim Jongin knew he looked a little dirty, he cleaned but the whole clothes thing didn't matter much anymore, so he didn't change often unless counting his unmentionables, he liked keeping a little clean, he only had about three sets of clothes for spares. He wasn't walking around either no matter how dead they were.
"Are you coming in or what?" He asked. A little cold, but he just wanted to get in, he had been out or night and if it wasn't for the annoyance of screaming and flesh ripping sounds he would of left him, "if you don't come in now, I'm closing this door and you can find somewhere else, it's all the same to me."

Jongin huffed in breath as he hid behind a car, it was beyond cold, he could see the fog in his breath as he shifted a little to keep warm, this was the best place to start moving and the heavily armed make just liked travelling early in the morning. He was holding a pipe in his hand, it was to risky using guns because of the undeads attraction to sound as well as Human.
He quietly walked down a path and into a door of a open shop with a few modifications like wood and garbage bags on the window to keep them from seeing if they heard anything, it was easy for him to call it home, though never staying long and not sleeping much because of everything happening. He was looking though the stuff got for a raid before he heard a loud sound and swore, standing up as he went to close the door in a hurry that was till.. He saw someone else,
"Hey you, get in here idiot" he told them, the dead would be among them soon and it wouldn't be pretty, he only felt pity for them, it wasn't a heroes move but because he didn't want to hear the dead eat it screams today, being a hero was idiotic.
