@Lee Hi "Thanks." Yull slowly sank down into the sand beside the other girl. 'Perhaps Nyx or Nemesis?' She thought to herself, carefully but discreetly observing her face from the corner of her eye. "Ah, sorry I didn't tell you my name right away. Yull, of the Hermes cabin. May I know who your god parent is?"

@Yull "Yeah, go ahead." Hayi nodded. She looked at the girl, could she be a sibling? 'No, don't get your hopes up.' her head tilted slightly. "I'm Hayi by the way." she introduced herself to the girl. So far, Hayi liked her. She was polite.

@Lee Hi Her voice was soft. Yull contemplated the possibility of having stumbled upon an Aphrodite child. But she didn't have a sort of charisma, charm in her face or voice or actions. She just had a very innocent, justified face. 'Who's child?' She thought to herself. "May I join you?" Yull politely asked, a smile breaking onto her face.

@Yull A girl's voice came from behind Hayi. She turned around. "Hello," she spoke in a soft voice. The girl didn't look much older than she, that gave her comfort. The fact that she was female gave her comfort. She offered a small smile. Hopefully this person would be kind.

@Lee Hi Yull shuffled carefully down the beach, feeling the soft sand giving way to her bare feet. There was a figure at the tides already, she noticed, squinting to make out the figure of a female. Then the girl sat down. Yull observed her carefully, being inquisitive and observative were traits she had used all of her live. This girl gave little away from her stature, however. Yull approached her, stopping within a few feet behind her. "Hello?"

Hayi took off her shoes and ran to the edge of the water. It was so blue. She squinted, it was hard to tell what was the sky and what was water. A smile came upon her lips as a cool breeze blew by. "It's so pretty." she mumbled to herself. She sat down on the dry sand and let the waves her feet. It tickled, her feet. A sigh came out, she felt at peace.

@Woohyun "Seriously, come here to the Sea God's territory to practice swimming, not to mention alone at that?" Sunggyu wiped the salty water off his face. "I'll, uh, just try the pool at the mansion, I guess." He chuckled wryly, but his tone was sincere as he said the next sentence.
"Thanks, though."

Woohyun smiled as he watched Sunggyu practice. He was doing really well but he expected it. After a few more hours, Woohyun decided it was time to wrap things up. "We'll meet every few days to practice. Okay?" he asks. "And if you're confident enough you can come here to practice yourself."

@Woohyun "Psh." Sunggyu just chuckled wryly. If anything, he should actually really be scared of water because it's Poseidon's territory. As far as he remembered, Zeus and Poseidon wasn't in a very good terms with each other... and to think that Zeus was practically his grandfather. Who knows what would happen, really?
"Careful with names, Woohyun." He scoffed lightly at the nickname. "They have powers."
And he tried it himself, just silently praying that Poseidon wasn't angry at Apollo at the moment... or it would be his death, probably.

"No but I'll be the best swim instructor you'll ever have,"he winked. Woohyun instructed Sunggyu to straighten his arms and gently place them on top of each other.Then he demonstrated how to incorporate the streamline position with kicking while submerged in water and frequently raising his head above water for air." And that's how it's done," he explains. "I can support you if you want or you can attempt it yourself. Your choice water bug," he said, inwardly laughing at the nickname he had just given the male.

@Woohyun Sunggyu was a bit pale, but soon after he was back on his feet, he sighed in relief. "Gah. Scary..."
But he laughed at how Woohyun said 'amazing swim instructor'.
"What, do you teach swimming back in the human world?"

[ LOL. I see. xD ]

Woohyun watched very carefully and the other boys did not get consumed by the water. Woohyun clapped his hands and cheered. "You did it, you're floating." Woohyun walked back up to Sunggyu and helped him back on his feet. "Are you ready to learn how to swim from your amazing swim instructor. Woohyun wasn't really sure about how to teach swimming but he had taken enough classes in his choldhood to get the idea of how it was supposed to go.
[The way of Woohyun's teaching may not be that accurate. ><]

@Woohyun Breathe, Sunggyu, breathe...

Sunggyu closed his eyes, trying to let all his fears go and relax. It took a lot out of him, really, and feeling the supporting hand was retracted, he took a deep breath and prayed for the miracle to come. May he not drown...

[ I honestly can swim myself, but I can never do this kind of floating. LOL. ]

Woohyun lifted Sunggyu's legs and back up to they were levelled on the surface of another. "Relax a bit because you are floating right now. I'm going to let go and let you float on yourself and see if you can float with no aid." Woohyun counted to three in his mind and slowly withdrew his hands for underneath Sunggyu. "I believe in you," he whispered and backed away a bit,but still close enough to save Sunggyu if he was to drown.

@Woohyun Sunggyu huffed a breath at the squeeze on his hand, and stopped the moment Woohyun did. He nodded, taking note of what the other male told him.
"Okay," he took a deep breath, trying to relax his posture, and leaned back, letting Woohyun's hand supported his back. It was scary, honestly, feeling the water so near to swallowing him... but again, he swallowed the fear down and formed a starfish formation with his body.
"...And then?" He said, a bit breathlessly.

He noticed that Sunggyu was nervous so he smiled at him and squeezed his hands with reassurance. Woohyun stopped when the water became waist high. Woohyun steadied his hands on Sunggyu back. "Sunggyu, we are going to start with the basics. I'm going to teach you to float on your back. This is a starting point because is you get pushed into the water or get washed away you can prevent yourself from downing," he explained because this drew the line between surviving or not. "First you have to relax because if you're tense you may end up sinking. Sunggyu, I need you to lean back and let your feet rise up. I will push up on your back so you won't sink," Woohyun instructed. "Alright lean back and get your body into a starfish formation."

@Woohyun With a nod, Sunggyu followed Woohyun towards the water. He felt a bit assured because of his words, honestly, but with each step made, he still unconsciously held on tighter to the other's hand.
"Alright..." He muttered to himself, just for reassurance.

Woohyun smiled kindly and held his pinky out because he was childish. "Pinky promise," he said. "I won't let you die in my hands. My conscience could not possibly take it." Woohyun took the other males hand and guided him towards the water again.

@Woohyun "I'm scared, Woohyun." Sunggyu answered, shaking his head. "Experiencing drowning is not nice."
He just looked down afterwards, but then his head perked up at the offer, looking into the other's eyes. It was really just whether he'd trust or not... and he admitted it wasn't easy to trust someone with his life. But in the end, he swallowed it down.
"P-promise?"

@Sunggyu Woohyun looked at him wide eyed. "Really? You know you could've just told me," he sighed. "We could have had a more productive day than splashing around," Woohyun scolded. "What about you let me teach you to swimming. I promise I won't let you drown or float away."

@Woohyun The question from Woohyun actually unsettled Sunggyu. When it comes to team battles, this would be the easiest way to take him down... even if they were a team now, someday things would change.
And he mentally winced at the sharp tone. This friend of his was too observant... no one in the camp had ever observed him to this extent. But he knew he couldn't get out of this.
"I... cannot swim." He admitted in a quiet tone, sighing a bit.

Woohyun got up as well and followed Sunggyu, fist pumping a bit because he won a water fight. But Woohyun had sensed something off since the moment they had got here. He realised that when they got here, Sunggyu was walking so far from the water and then his answer to whether he liked the sea or not. Like how he said he liked the sea if it didn't pull him to his death. He also realised how desperate Sunggyu was to get out of the water. Woohyun called out to Sunggyu "What are you not telling me? Why are you so scared of the water?" he demanded.

@Woohyun "Aish!" Sunggyu tried to wipe the water off his face, splashing Woohyun while he could. "Yah~ okay, consider yourself winning this time." He just shook his head with a defeated smile as he got up, totally soaked with water. He was lucky the waves didn't carry him; if it does, he's as good as gone.

"No!" Woohyun wailed as he ran around the beach desperately trying to get away from Sunggyu but water splashed on the back of his shirt. Woohyun smirked at Sunggyu with a glint in his eyes before he ran towards Sunggyu and picked him up before running into the water and dropping him in. "You know, training does have some usefulness," he snickered before he started splashing water on Sunggyu.

@Woohyun Sunggyu had initially followed Woohyun without suspicion, confused about what he was planning to do. But as the water splashed to his face and shirt, he quickly get the mood.
"Yah, Woohyun! Come back here!" He laughed, cupping the water in his hands too before he took chase and splash it at the other male who was still running.

"It's in my nature I guess," he chuckles. Woohyun holds Sunggyu wrist and drags him towards the place where the water meets the sand. He knelt down and cupped some water in his hands and tossed it at Sunggyu. "But it doesn't mean I can't have some fun he says as he runs a few metres or so from Sunggyu.

@Woohyun "I guess." Sunggyu muttered quietly, nodding. "You have an interesting concept of balance existing in life."
But then again, he was a child of Nemesis...
"Not really surprising, though." He added, chuckling a bit.

"They are," he said, "You can't expect everything to be perfect. Our world was not built upon that. Everything was created to make life interesting and keep us all in line. We woyld take things for granted if it always went our way and we wouldn't value life and nature if there were no risks and dangers of living," he continued on.

@Woohyun Complicated thoughs, simple question... complicated answer. And as Woohyun's eyes bore deep into his, Sunggyu found himself looking back, though with a question that was directed to his own self.

Does /he/ like the sea?

"I guess I have mixed feelings about it too." He answered, looking down to the small waves on the shore. "I like it when it's this musical... and I like it when it's not pulling me to my death. But then again, Woohyun... aren't all nature's gift double-edged?"

"Do I like the sea? You see, that is a vague question. I like the beautiful scenery it provides and I like the feeling of the water on my feet on a warm day. I like the animals that dwell within it and the treasures it conceals but I hate how dangerous it is when the weather is fierce. I dislike it quite a lot when the waves grasp onto innocent people and pulls them to their deaths. I hate it when it causes tsunamis and thrashes everything that has been built. So Sunggyu, I have mixed feelings about it. But you Sunggyu, how do you feel about this gift of nature. Do you like the sea?" he asks as he stares into the eyes of the latter, raising and eyebrow.
