@Jung Jin Young Her breathing got deeper as her sobs went louder. "I... I'm innocent," she added. Her cries were on the top of her lungs. Soojung's shadow. Seunghyun's glare. It haunted her thoughts. She didn't want to remember the events in the cave, but the word "kill" made an effect on her. She wasn't psychologically fit despite her flawless records. Her EQ level was predicted to be low.
She could feel Jinyoung's presence in front of her which brought her back to reality. "Ji-Jinyoung-ssi," she uttered as she moved closer. "Believe me... I didn't kill them," she whispered as she choked through sobs.
@Kim Yu Jin (Uee) Jinyoung watched Yujin stuttered. She acted weird. Jinyoung shook his head mildly at Yujin's question and mumbled 'No,' but he supposed the girl didn't hear him.
"I didn't kill them!" She said out loud. Jinyoung flinched. "Wo-woah!" Jinyoung kneeled in front of her and lifted his hands, wanted to calm her down, but didn't know what to do. "I-I'm sorry, I-I didn't mean to..."
@Jung Jin Young After a brief silence, Jinyoung spoke. His voice made Yujin lose her composure. "K-kill anyone?" She hesitated. "No... No...Not really, ha-have you?" She stammered. Her voice trembled. No she didn't kill anyone. She just went paranoid. They were a threat. It was nothing. Not even one drop of blood was shed.
An image of Seunghyun and Soojung popped up. "I didn't kill them!" She said out loud. She didn't do anything wrong. She burst in to tears as she dropped on her knees.
@Huang Zi Tao Kris puffed his cheeks unknowingly for a few seconds as he thought over the offer. He wasn't the best fighter in the world. And he was too endearing for his own good. Though he didn't want to be following the other around like just a lost puppy. He tapped his chin, he had his good points out here too so atleast he would be useful. "Sounds good. I'm good at tending to wounds and identifying plants. So I guess I can help out there." He trailed off, and lightly bowed his head. "My name is Wu Yifan. But please call me Kris." He introduced himself and then tilted his head curiously. "If you don't mind me asking. How are you so good with that staff?" He wondered.
Tao chuckled softly at the other. "You don't have to clap for me. /Someone's/ gotta save your @ss-" The young, slightly shorter man smirked, looking he other dead in the eyes, someone teasingly. If things kept going as they were, this tall, cowardly man would be dead before the end of the day. Knowing this, Tao extended an offer. As well as his hand. "Why don't you stick with me, for awhile? That is, if you want to and won't try to ambush me or something." The man runs a hair through his still soft raven black lock and tilts his head. "I don't believe I caught your name. I'm Huang Zitao." Tao flashed a faint smile to the other, showing that he wasn't all roughness and prickles, just.... slightly guarded.
@Huang Zi Tao Knowing that the other in front of him probably didn't believe a word he said, Kris decided to just finish off the story. "You are welcome. I try to help out as much as possible." Kris cooly responded, though his eyes were wide with surprise at the now dead rat on the ground. The male slowly began to clap, giving a nod of admiration. "You're good." Kris trailed off. "I have no idea where that came from." He then partially lied, he didn't want to be seen as weak for being afraid of an obese rat.
@Wu Yi Fan (Kris) Listening with the intent of not believing a single word of the other, Tao simply played along and nodded. "/Of course/, how kind of you..." He flashed a smirk to the man, wondering how long he could keep up this persona. For someone so tall and serious-looking, he certainly wasn't the most cunning... Tao couldn't withold his grin at the other's lame excuse. "I shall forever be grateful to you for your 'warning'. I could have potentially been mauled by a cougar... Thank you a million times over~" Tao bows lightly, rather enjoying this. He scoffs to himself when the other puffs out his chest, but then snaps his eyes and spins around when the young man gasps loudly. His eyes take in a huge rat, and his insticnts instantly kick in, pulling the bo staff attached to his pack when lightning-quick speed and striking the rat dead in an instant with skillful force. Once assured of the rat's death, Tao casually ties the staff back in place and glances at the other to see his reaction.
@Huang Zi Tao Kris' eyes narrowed, feeling quite patronized by the male in front of him. And he mentally cursed himself for not coming up with a more believable lie. Though it was too late and he, unfortunately, would have to stick with the ridiculous tale. Running a hand through his hair, Kris scoffed a bit, though he couldn't help but softly chuckle. "It was very scary, but I bravely scared it away, so you know what? You're welcome." He said sarcastically. "And I'll have you know, that wasn't a scream. It was a manly yell of warning for anyone in the area." He explained, folding his arms across his chest as he tried to prove his strength. Though just as he was starting to feel confident, the culprit popped up, a large rat, and the male jumped, nearly screaming again, but trying not to.
@Wu Yi Fan (Kris) Tao tilted his head, observing the man curiously. He certainly didn't look like a murderer, but caution was essential nevertheless. He stepped closer, calculating his step in order to keep a small distance between the other and himself. When the man spoke, Tao instantly chuckled internally, struggling to hide his slight amusement. The young man raised an eyebrow instead, nodding in acknowledgement. "Ah, so I see." Tao looks him over, from top to bottom and smirks. "Pretty interesting cougar. He'd have to be pretty domestic and extremely stupid..." Tao gives the man a look when he continues. "And pretty darn scary to make a man of your size scream in such a manner." Even now, Tao retains his sense of humor, testing the other for a reaction.
@Huang Zi Tao Hearing footsteps, Kris groaned, a bit disappointed that someone else had found him. And quite frankly he was preparing himself to fight. He wasn't sure if the person running up the stairs now had morals or not. And so far, Kris had managed to avoid any and all fights. But he knew that his peace wouldn't last, it was impossible. Sooner or later he would have to fight. And when the time came he wanted to be ready. Because Kris would survive at all costs, even if it meant, reluctantly, hurting others.
Looking up, Kris locked eyes with a dark haired, slightly shorter male. Kris coughed and slowly stood up, dusting himself off. He returned the stare and raised an eyebrow, realizing the male had probably only come up here because of his scream. And immediately the taller felt just a bit embarrassed. "There was an um.. cougar up here. But it just hopped out the window." He explained, knowing it was the lamest lie to tell.
@Wu Yi Fan (Kris) Tao instantly stiffened, his sharp dark eyes snapping up to the lighthouse when a deep scream reached his ears. It wasn't like him to abandon a cry for help- an ally of his could be in dire trouble at the hand of a vicious opponent. Yet he held himself back momentarily, contemplating on whether or not it was too rash to head into what could very well be a trap. Against his better judgement, the young man sprinted for the lighthouse, adrenaline starting to pump through his veins. Tao prepared himself for whatever situation would take place next.
As he reached the lighthouse, cranking up the winding steps with cat-like agility and speed, he came across an open room, where a male, not much taller than him sat on the ground. Tao blinked in curiously, yet in thorough observance- not even close to letting his guard down. With a deep breath, he stepped forward toward the other.
@Huang Zi Tao Eyes locked on the door, Kris felt an overwhelming urge to head inside. But he wasn't sure what was waiting. He had to be more careful. It wasn't like this was just a horror movie and that he could go wandering off without any consequences. No, this was real life, and he had to be more cautious than ever. But Kris knew he couldn't stay in one place forever, so he followed his gut feeling, walking up to the door know and giving it a few tugs, before the door finally swung open and Kris bounded in. His eyes shot around, he stayed silent for a few seconds, listening out for anyone. It was silent, almost too silent. But right now, he was valuing the silence, so he took a step forward, only to feel something run across his foot.
Kris screamed, loud.
The brunette stumbled back, tripping over a vine and falling to the concrete ground. He landed hard on his , and then winced slightly. "Crap." He mumbled and squinted his eyes, trying to see through the immense darkness so he could at least gather his flashlight. His large hands patted around on the ground until he finally gripped the item and flicked it on. "God.. He muttered, rubbing his forehead in frustration.
@Wu Yi Fan (Kris) Tao makes his way across the shoreline, scanning the sand sharply for any sign of possible food. His steps were slow and cautious along the beach. He bit his lips, somewhat chapped from a entire day of running about and scavenging. Tao glanced up at the lighthouse, becoming on the alert, just in case someone may try to attack him from there.
@Kim Yu Jin (Uee) Jinyoung couldn't see Yujin's face clearly due to the darkness. He turned and stared at the setting sun. Resting his arms on the metal bars surrounding the balcony of the lighthouse, he said, "Say..." his voice was low and harsh. "Did you... Kill anyone... Yet? Or... Did somebody tried to kill you?" he asked carefully.
@Jung Jin Young Uee giggled. She didn't find herself having a good memory though. Not remembering the name instead of the student number is a whole new level.
For a while, the sunset was positioned perfectly at Jinyoung's angle. It really made his eyes stand out. She stared at him for awhile, but his words caught her out. She stood straight and snapped out from that some sort of trance.
"Um, well... I guess not everybody seriously want to kill their classmates. That's a... Relief. But... I kinda miss home." Yes, the fact that no one intended to kill anyone was completely true.
"Me too," she sighed, recalling the time she dared to kill Seunghyun. The game sunk into her so much.
Jinyoung frowns. He didn't even remember his own student number. "Uh, yeah... That's an amazing memory you got."
He scratched his head at the awkward silence. He wanted to say something, but didn't know what. Jinyoung faked a cough. "So... how's the game so far?" Jinyoung looked at Yujin.
"Eh?" He was caught a little off guard. "Um, well... I guess not everybody seriously want to kill their classmates. That's a... Relief. But... I kinda miss home."
@Jung Jin Young "Jung Jinyoung... Jinyoung." She tapped her fingers on the metal beams that supported the lighthouse as she remembered his name. "Oh... Jung Jinyoung! Student number 130562." Yujin memorizes other students by their student numbers rather than names. She felt quite embarrassed that she didn't know him that much, wherein it's part of her job to get to know her classmates for performance records. There was an awkward silence between them. "So... how's the game so far?" She asked him, gritting her teeth.
@Kim Yu Jin (Uee) Jinyoung stayed silence, remembering the name. The class secretary. Oh yes, now he remembered faintly. He carefully accepted her hands and stood. "Jung Jinyoung," he introduced himself. "You may not remember me, though. I'm not really that type that stands out in class..."
@Jung Jin Young The male seemed to be quite surprised. Yujin giggled as he fell. "Heeeey... Easy there," she said, smiling. She extended her arm, reaching out for his. "I'm Kim Yujin, class secretary, batch president," she introduced herself like she usually does back in school, back during the times they weren't savage monsters out to kill each other. "And you are?"
@Kim Yu Jin (Uee) Jinyoung was startled at the sudden tap on his shoulder, he literally jumpedand turned, his eyes searching for the caller in horror. He fell on his . Staring at the girl from head to toe, he tried to recall her name. "Wh-who-who?" Jinyoung creeped back.
@Jung Jin Young As Yujin was about to go to the last step on the staircase, a male caught her attention. Who was he? She wondered. She approached him quietly. She tapped his shoulder and greeted him. "Annyeong!" It was quite rare for her to be all happy-go-lucky, but might as well try to be one as her mood lasts.
Jinyoung walked up the stairs to the highest floor of the lighthouse. He can see the shore, and almost the whole island from here. It was quiet, as the sun goes down. Only the sound of waves was heard. It was almost peaceful. Jinyoung closed his eyes for a second. If only this wasn't a deadly game, the island is actually pretty nice. Jinyoung took a deep breath, the unique smell of the ocean fills his chest.
@Byun Seungmi (JNey) *he shrugged his shoulders* "yeah, ok, i agree..." *he closed his eyes for a few seconds and went to sleep, he was exhausted from walking all the way here and he wasn't sure about whatvwas going on*
@Yong Jun Hyung JNey grinned and sat next to Junhyung "theres a few things I need to make clear, one, don't hurt Nana or Krystal, their on our side.two,no betrayals and three, we gaurd each other. "
@Byun Seungmi (JNey) *He turned around at the sound of someone's voice, a woman... No... His class mate, and he didn't know her very well.* "huh? Oh it's you." He stared at her with a blank expression. "yeah... I guess i could team up with you. If you would allow it." *He threw his backpack near a wall and sat next to it in a casual manor*
@Yong Jun Hyung JNey did what she did best, negotiate."Junhyung, leave, I have already occupied this area, unless, you agree that we work together and keep each other safe, otherwise, leave, or I will make you."
@Byun Seungmi (JNey) *he walks slowly up the steps leading further into the light house, he did not notice another presence watching him. He stopped to look around, he decided that if there was no one around, this would make an ideal location to camp out. He touched the wall as he continued his way in*
@Yong Jun Hyung JNey gulped and took a peek out of the wooden planks, she squinted her eyes and made out the shape of a guy, Junhyung. Her classmate, she did not speak to him before but she knew him by his name.
