@[CP] Tiffany Hwang Daehyun could tell that her father must be worried about her, just like him. His daughter just got into a car accident and lost some of her memories, sadly it was about him. If he was on his position, he would do just the same. He wanted her to take as much rest she can get so she could fully recovered.
"Yeah, I won't let you to fly the plane too even though I'm not your father." He chuckled lightly and softened at her sweet words. Even though she lost her memories about him but he could tell that her feeling towards him will never change. And it was more than enough for him.
"Yeah, let's go." He headed to the door with her bag, making sure that she was walking beside him before walking down on the hallway.
@[FA] Jung Daehyun Tiffany was oblivious towards his gaze at her as she smiled before grabbing the last of her things.
"But.. I don't think I'll get to fly the plane.." She muttered. "My dad said to just take a private flight back. I don't know why though.." She said. "Maybe he's worried about me?" She sounded unsure.
"Never mind that though. I just want to get back to Seoul safe and sound with you, of course." Her eyes smiled as she turned to look at him. Somehow, being around him made her feel..completely blissful, almost as if she was no longer missing anything, as if all she needed was right next to her.
@[CP] Tiffany Hwang It was nice to see her smile, he always thought it's the sweetest thing even how cheesy that sounded but for him it was the truth. Just by seeing her smile was enough to light up his day whenever he was in a bad mood and no matter what, he always hopes that she will stay by his side without leaving him ever again. "That's good. You seem excited. I missed Seoul too, actually." He smiled back at her and helped her with her bag.
'The place where I met you.' He thought silently inside his head as he glanced at her with the expression he always shown whenever he was around her. The expression when he was in love with someone and no one could steal his heart away other than her.
She was just special and already etched on his heart forever.
@[FA] Jung Daehyun That morning, the doctor had came over for a check-up and had finally announced that she was free to leave that very afternoon. "Finally!" She was glad. Finally, after a month, she could finally leave the hospital. Her long brown hair which once reached only up to her shoulders, now reached the middle of the back but it was still free from tangles and still smelled like flowers on a spring day.
That afternoon, after she was done paying her hospital bills, she headed back up to her hospital room and began packing her things before being joined by Daehyun shortly after. She felt extremely grateful that he still chose to stick by her side even after finding out that she had completely erased him from her memories.
Tiffany smiled at him when he approached her with a smile on his face. "Ready to go?" She nodded excitedly.
"Of course! I can't wait to get back to Seoul." She admitted. "Maybe..that's where I'll get all my memories back." She smiled cheerfully at him, her eyes glimmering with hope.
The day when Tiffany could be discharged from the hospital finally came and Daehyun couldn't be happier to find out that she was fully recovered, except for her memories of course but as a promise to himself, he will stay by her side until she regained her memories back. Even though it was really hard for him to hold himself back because of his strong feeling towards her.
He wanted to hold her in his arms like he used to, to kiss her but he knew that he need to wait. Daehyun was now helping her to pack her stuffs inside her bag and approached her slowly with a smile across his face.
@[FA] Jung Daehyun "That's a good thing I guess." Tiffany said with a slight smile. "I can't wait till the rest of my memories come back." She told him. "It feels terrible to be unable to remember anything. It's as though you can't do anything right and it's as if there's this huge blank in place of your memories." She described her feeling at the moment.
"There was something strange at the flashback from earlier though.." Tiffany stated. "There was this person there with me and he said the same thing as what you said earlier. The exact same thing but the funny thing was, I couldn't hear his voice properly nor can I see him." She continued. "I wonder who it was." She added.
As they were about to speak once more, a nurse came in and asked him to leave as visiting hours were over. "You'll come back tomorrow, won't you?" She asked just before he left and after the nurse had left.
[Shall we time skip to the point where she already got discharged from the hospital? ]
Daehyun's face changed into a worried expression when she began to wince in pain, he scooted closer and eyed her worriedly. "Are you okay?" He asked rather panicly and wondering if she got a flash of her memory from the past.
He waited patiently for her to talk to him, telling him something about what was on her mind but he couldn't help to just want to hug her in his arms, telling her that everything was going to be okay. His eyes widened when she mentioned about her own sickness which was a good thing that she remembered about something. "Your memory..is slowly coming back.."
@[FA] Jung Daehyun Tiffany blinked when Daehyun suddenly reached for her hand before holding it gently. Slowly, she looked at him and nodded. That was when a memory came back to her. Wincing, she let go of his hand and held onto her head with closed eyes. "Hurts.. Head hurts.." She muttered.
What she saw in her mind was a hospital with him next to her. "The operation was successful." A voice was suddenly heard. "However, your tumor is the type which grows back eventually so please, be prepared to face it." The doctor said. "I'll be here with you, so don't worry, no matter what, I'll be here." Another voice was heard. The next thing she knew, everything was gone and her head stopped aching.
Slowly, she opened her eyes. "Tumor.." She muttered and unconsciously, her hand reached over to her back to touch her spine. "Spinal cord tumor.." She mumbled again, frowning slightly.
@[CP] Tiffany Hwang Daehyun nodded his head as his lips curved into a smile while witnessing the smile on Tiffany's face, it looked beautiful to him as always. "I'm sure you will be out soon, and I will be right here by your side until they discharge you." He murmured gently and hummed lightly. "We are in Paris, I'll take you out later okay?" He gave her a smile and he had this urge to hold her hand but he didn't because he didn't want her to feel awkward.
"Hey...I'm sure you will regain your memories back." He comforted the other as back as he could. "Like I said, I will be here even if you don't gain it back, I will be here."
A soft smile appeared across his face and he braved himself to reach up for her hand, held it gently as he caressed her forehand with his thumb. "I think I can, because...you forget the memories about me...I think there's no other person who can help you other than me."
@[FA] Jung Daehyun "Oh.. It must be in Korea then?" Tiffany asked, looking at him before looking at her phone as she smiled softly upon looking at the picture though she had no idea why she smiled. "I wonder when I can be discharged." She sighed. "I mean..I do want to tour around Paris." She told him. "The man from earlier told me that we're in Paris." She added in.
"The past few hours seems like a blur to me.." Tiffany said with a sigh. "and..it's like there's a huge big black patch covering the past few years." She muttered. "Funny isn't it? How you would feel when you lose your memories." She mumbled so softly, nobody could hear it but herself.
"Do..you think you could help me regain my memories?" She asked Daehyun softly. "I really do want to remember everything.. I don't know why but I feel like I know you and yet I feel like I don't. It's confusing." She sighed.
@[CP] Tiffany Hwang Daehyun felt really awkward right now, standing beside her when she completely didn't recognize him but he wouldn't give up, not after all things they had been through. He settled himself on the chair beside her bed and gave her a small smile, ruffling his own hair nervously.
The blonde male blinked when he asked him about something and glanced at her phone, seeing the picture of them at the amusement park as her wallpaper. A gentle smile crept up to his lips at the memory. "Yes, of course I remember. This is when I took you on a first date." He murmured gently.
He remembered when he first took her on a date, he was nervous as hell because he wasn't really a pro at taking a girl on a date. She was his first love after all, he was just like a lovestruck boy back then. This made him smile by himself.
@[FA] Jung Daehyun Tiffany glanced up from her phone when she heard someone saying 'hey..'. To her expectations, it was the male from earlier. "Oh, hello.." She greeted cautiously, as if she was unsure of what to say. As the bodyguard glanced at the two, he realized he should probably leave and so, he did.
"Uhm.. Do you know when this was?" She asked him as she showed him her wallpaper. "I think it's in an amusement park or something..judging from the mickey and minnie headbands worn." She continued as she looked at the familiar picture with a slight frown.
It was frustrating, not being able to remember anything from her past. She wanted to force herself to remember but each time she did that, her head pounded hard against the skull.
@[CP] Tiffany Hwang Daehyun's lips curved into a smile at the fact that his girl's Dad actually gave them his blessing even though he wasn't really sure about his relationship with Tiffany, what made it even more confusing was her lost memories. He nodded his head at his words and bowed politely. "Yes sir, thanks a lot." He smiled at the old man before headed back to the room where she was in.
He opened the door slowly and saw her playing with her phone, her expression kept changing every few seconds and he wondered what she was seeing on her phone. Maybe it were a pictures of them. He made his way closer to her before stopping near her bed, mumbled softly. "Hey..."
@[FA] Jung Daehyun Tiffany's father smiled at his words and nodded. "With your words, I am at ease." He said with a nod. "Go inside and try to jog her memory. The doctor said that gradually, she'll be able to remember everything though it might take weeks or even months. I hope you will be patient with her and not hurt her." He continued, every single word filled with sincerity. "I will be leaving now. Ask Bodyguard 002 to leave once you enter the room." He told her.
Meanwhile,
TIffany who was inside the room had spotted her phone which was on the bedside table and had picked it up with ease. There, she managed to unlock her phone to reveal her wallpaper which was a photo of her and the young man from earlier. "Why does this look so familiar?" She muttered and glanced up when the bodyguard spoke. "You lost your memories, Miss Hwang. That's why. You knew him but after the car accident from earlier, your memories are gone for some odd reasons." He told her causing her head to ache slightly as she tried to take everything in.
"Car accident..." She mumbled softly with furrowed eyebrows.
@[CP] Tiffany Hwang Daehyun couldn't really believe what he see, was it a guilt on Tiffany's dad's eyes. Impossible. Did he finally approve their relationship? When the other explained what happened, his face fell at the reality that he was indeed the most painful memories for her. His face saddened at this fact as his head dropped to the ground.
He looked up again when the old man began to explain the reason why he opposed their relationship in the first place and he could understand that. But he never thought a guy like him had experienced a heartbreak just like him but then again, bad things always happen to people.
He smiled a bit at the question before looked at the old man straight in the eyes with a tender eyes. "Like her? I love her sir."
@[FA] Jung Daehyun Once they were outside, Tiffany's dad turned around and looked at Daehyun with regret and guilt in his eyes. "As you can probably see, Miyoung lost her memories. The doctors told me that it was due to the heavy impact on the back of her head during the accident. Because of this, her mind threw some of her most painful memories away. I have no idea why she remembers me and not you.. I'm sorry." Her father said calmly.
"I believe I owe you an explanation as to why I've always been against your relationship with each other." Her father started. "I'm sure Miyoung has told you about her mother leaving back when she was only 9 years old." He said with a distant look on his face. "Because of my own heartbreak, I'm purposely trying to prevent Miyoung from having a love life because I'm afraid the same thing will happen to her." He continued. "That's why I was against you the whole time." He added.
"Do you really..well like her?" He asked the younger male.
As that three words came out from , Daehyun got the shocked of his life as he froze on his spot when she /pushed/ him away before he stared at her in disbelief. And that tone, it was something so foreign and he almost didn't recognize her. What happened? Why didn't she remember him? Impossible. "I-"
His words was cut by someone entering the room and he noticed it was her father, his body turned rigid because he remembered how much he hated him and the fact he attempted to kill him didn't cool down the tension between them but the way he was acted was a bit strange. He didn't look at him like he hated him but infact he tried to make Miyoung remember about who he was. Did she lose her memories? But why she remembered about the old man but not him? This wasn't fair, it hurt him to think that she didn't remember him.
The kind gestures from him made his eyes widened in shock and disbelief, did he just approve their relationship? But he wasn't sure if they were really in relationship and to think that she didn't remember him made him even more confuse than before. He stared at his love one's father before he followed him silently, wanted to know the truth behind her lost memories.
@[FA] Jung Daehyun Tiffany, who was calmly wondering why that name mattered so much to her got surprised when someone burst into the room. The next thing she knew, the male was hugging her. Tightly too. Shocked, she couldn't react but soon regained her composure and gently pushed Daehyun away from her. "Who..are you?" She asked, her voice without much emotion unlike the usual tone she would always greet him with.
Before any of them could speak, her father walked into the room with another male behind him who was dressed formally. "Mi-" Her father paused upon seeing Daehyun in the room but shrugged it off, knowing if there was anything his daughter needed, it would be Daehyun right now even though she couldn't recall him. "Miyoung-ah.. Do you know who he is?" Her father asked her , gesturing towards Daehyun. Slowly, she shook her head as she looked at her father in confusion. It was almost as if her past few years were just..missing. As if there was a huge black spot there instead of tearful memories.
"He's Daehyun. The person I spoke of earlier." Her father told his only daughter calmly. "And, the person whom you gave your heart to." Her father continued before placing a hand on Daehyun's shoulder. "Come with me. I have something to say." Her father told the younger male before turning to the other male in the room. "Take care of her while I speak to this young man here." He instructed and the said bodyguard nodded before standing near Tiffany but of course, still leaving space earning himself a confused look from Tiffany.
"Come." Her father said to Daehyun before leaving the room.
@[CP] Tiffany Hwang When Daehyun finally woke up after the affect of the injection worn out and fluttered his eyes open. He rubbed his eyes to clear his vision then tried to think what was going on and when he finally remembered, he sat up immidiately, pulled out the needles on his hand with a wince before coming out from his room, walking towards the receptionist while holding his chest, limping on the way there because of the pain on his chest. He just wanted to know if she was okay, he really hoped she was okay.
When he finally arrived, he asked the receptionist where was her room and headed there right away. When he was finally there, he hesitated a bit before opening the door, seeing her sitting up, looking fine except for the bandage around her head and also the infectious needles. Tears welled up on his eyes when he knew she was okay and ran to her, didn't care about his own pain and pulled her into a tight hug, shutting his eyes tightly as he let out a small whimper. "I'm so glad that you're okay." He whispered brokenly as he tightened his hug even more.
@[FA] Jung Daehyun A few hours later, the doctors were done with the examination and Tiffany was sent to a private ward which her father had requested for. "All she suffered was blood loss. She would most probably wake up in a few hours. However, because of the heavy impact on the back of her head, she would most likely lose certain memories." The doctor told her father who nodded in return before asking if he could see her which the doctor said yes to.
Her father walked into her private ward to see his daughter unconscious and as pale as the bed sheets she was resting on. "I'm so sorry, my dear daughter." He apologized as he gripped onto her hand which laid limply by her side. "I'm this against your relationship with him because..I'm afraid he would leave you just like how your mother left me. I don't know if I can hand you over to just anyone. I don't want you to suffer like I did and still do." He said softly, showing his real side. The side which truly did care for his only daughter. That one side who was protective of her well-being. Sighing, he stood up and left the room.
A couple of hours later, Tiffany slowly regained consciousness as she tried to move her 'oh-so-heavy' fingers which she succeeded in. Slowly, her eyes fluttered open to see a white unfamiliar ceiling. "W-Where am I?" She wondered as her blurry gaze began to focus. Slowly sitting up with a pounding head, she looked around the room and was able to tell that she was in the hospital. Right at that moment, the door opened and in came her father.
"Father! Where am I? Why am I in the hospital?" She asked him, forgetting all that he had done to wreck her happiness. The heavy impact on her head had wiped away all of the memories which had broke her heart many years ago as well as the memory on that day itself. Her father told her that she was in Paris and that she had gotten into a car accident. Blinking in surprise, she glanced at the clock which hung near her bed and was surprised to see that it was already midnight.
"Miyoung..do you remember why you got into the accident?" Her father cautiously asked her and she shook her head slowly in reply. "I..forced you to leave Daehyun, the one person you love with all your heart." Her father said and she tilted her head slightly in confusion. "Daehyun? Who's that?" She asked. Shocked, her father stood up and ran out of the room calling for the doctor, asking how she had forgotten someone so important to her.
"Daehyun.." Tiffany muttered to herself. "Why does that name sound so familiar?" She wondered confusedly. "And..why does my heart ache at the thought of that name?" She asked herself, placing a hand on her chest where her heart was.
@[CP] Tiffany Hwang Daehyun kept on crying his heart out as he calling up her name in agony. He couldn't believe he lose her for a second time. Was they not destined to be together? They lo ed each other so much but why there were so many obstacles to prevent them for being together? It wasn't fair. All he wanted was her, he didn't want anyone else. She was the only one for him, she knew everything about him, more than the others. He was feeling in the most comfortable way when he was standing by her side but why people kepy wanting to break them apart? He didn't get it.
Suddenly he heard a ruckus outside, it seemed there was a new patient who needed to be taken care of. One nurse went inside his room to check on him and couldn't hold his curiosity, he asked what was going on and she told him there was a girl who got into a car accident and when she told him his name, his heart stopped for a seconds and he wanted to get up from the bed but the nurse didn't let him. "Mr.Jung! You can't got up from the bed just yet!" She said but Daehyun was stubborn in the end some doctors and nurses came inside and held him down. "P-please! L-let me see her! M-Miyoung! Tell me this is a lie! Tell me she's okay please!" He let out a heartwrecking sobs as he began to struggle away. In the end the doctor decided to inject him and he slowly losing his consious, one tear slid down from his eye.
@[FA] Jung Daehyun With completely blurred vision from her overwhelming tears, Tiffany ran out of the hospital and stopped in front of the entrance as she let out a heart wrenching sob. She had just managed to meet him once more for what? Three days before she was torn away from him again. She held onto a nearby lamp post as she cried her heart out.
Unknown to her, the girl from the previous day had gone crazy from obsession over Daehyun. The girl had been thinking of ways to get rid of the captain just so she could have him all to herself. That day, upon seeing her by herself completely unaware of her surroundings, the girl had took the opportunity to get rid of her once and for all. Vision blurred from tears, Tiffany stepped onto the road, crossing it safely towards the road on the other side of the road.
The other girl gripped onto the steering wheel as she smirked evilly. "If I can't have him, no one can." The girl said as she stepped onto the accelerator, speeding towards the oblivious girl who was older than her. Oblivious to her surroundings, the said captain crossed the road not seeing a black car which was speeding towards her. That was, until she heard skidding but it was too late. The car had hit her, sending her flying a few feet away. "Please..let my pain be over.." She muttered as she closed her eyes, landing onto the ground a few steps away as the black car drove away. A crowd had started gathering around the girl who was bleeding out as someone ran towards the hospital to get some help.
As Tiffany drifted unconscious, her memories about Daehyun and herself drifted into her mind slowly but surely and a tear slipped down once more. With the will of forgetting everything to prevent heartbreaks again, the world spun black as she dropped unconscious while the hospital staff rushed to bring her into the hospital where an examination and surgery was done. Her father was called and he came rushing to the hospital.
@[CP] Tiffany Hwang Daehyun smiled weakly at the joke, it didn't sound so funny when knowing he was about to part with the girl he loved. If only if were rich, if only he was a better man than he could be together with her. But the reality was far away different from that.
His heart stopped for a second at her words, his chest was like being stabbed by a thousand of needles. She would leave him again for a second time and it killed him on the spot. Why they couldn't be happy? What did he do wrong? He shut his eyes closed when she kissed him to savor the moment before he smiled even though pain were visible on his brown orbs. Finally when she left, his head dropped in sadness before tears streamed down his face.
@[FA] Jung Daehyun Tiffany felt comforted when he grabbed her hand. She was glad he knew the truth this time but it didn't mean she could stay. It didn't, if she wanted him to live. "My father..all he can think about is money right now." She told him with a sigh. "He's crazy. Obsessed about money. He's like Mr.Krabs right now." She continued, chuckling about the well-known TV show slightly.
"I should leave... He'll hurt you if I don't. I'd prefer it if you stayed alive." She said and smiled as she retracted her hand from his before standing up but before leaving, she cupped his face with her palms and pecked his lips once. With that, she pulled away as a tear slipped from her eyes. "I'm sorry but.. I have to leave if you were to stay alive." She told him. "I truly do love you." She said those 5 words for what seemed like the last time before dashing out of the room, covering as she broke down as she ran off.
@[CP] Tiffany Hwang Daehyun looked at her confusedly when she looked around for something then sat down in front of him after it. What was she looking for?
He listened intently to her explanation and his heart broke all over again at the fact his father wanted to separate them once again even after a years they hadn't meet each other. And now they were together he would make them apart from each other? How could he be so cruel? He shouldn't control his daughter's life like that, it wasn't fair and especially he couldn't take his life like he was some kind of animal.
His expression softened when she began shivering in fear and he took her hand in his, squeezing it lightly. "...I'm not sure too. Why does he hate me so much?" He asked quietly with a sad expression.
@[FA] Jung Daehyun Tiffany slightly flinched at his tone. "I will." She said with a nod. However before she told him , she stood up and looked around the room in search of security cameras. Finding none, she went back towards him and sat down on the chair, taking in a deep breath.
"My father he.."she paused, sighing. "he wants me to go to Hong Kong...and have absolutely no contact with you for the rest of my life. Or else..something worst than this would happen." She told him. "I had to agree because...he showed me his phone where I could see a masked stranger in here with you..while you were unconscious. The stranger was holding a knife above your chest." She said. "I was scared and worried especially when my father said that if I dared to disobey him, with just a simple order from him, you'd be gone." She continued, remembering the horrible moment earlier that day.
"I really don't know what to do.." She said. She was shivering in fear. Fear of losing him. Fear of being alone again. Fear. That was taking control of her at the moment.
@[CP] Tiffany Hwang Daehyun didn't listen to any of her words because his feeling still told him she was lying. She would leave him because he knew that she wanted to protect him from his father and the only choice was to leave him. He didn't understand why her father was that cruel, for to order someone to kill him. He could get better, maybe he wasn't rich but he loved his daughter more than everyone else. Wasn't that enough? Why did he ruin both of their happiness?
"You can't lie to me." He said firmly as he turned to her. "Tell me the truth." He demanded as he stared into her eyes.
