@Im Sooyeon Jongsuk had been surprised to find the woman walking away, but he was pleased. Sticking his earbud back into his ear, he let the blaring music drown out the sounds of the bustling street. He saw the woman take money, and he snorted in amusement. He knew she had to have been someone in the same business as him. Well, she was no longer his problem, he presumed when she got into a car. Sipping more of his frappe, he began walking home again.
@Lee Jongsuk (R) Sooyeon had noticed Jongsuk's annoyance, but the female had only scoffed, moving from his side to go talk with the client behind the assassination. She had always gotten pay before the girl actually killed off the target, but Sooyeon was good at researching the target before agreeing. The girl had lost her beloved baby sister that way, and didn't want that to happen to someone she might've actually like.
Sighing, Sooyeon had taken the money, getting into the car as the man had driven away.
@Im Sooyeon He removed one of the earbuds when he realized that she was walking with him still. He said nothing, not wanting to start up a conversation with the woman. But he sipped his drink and walked beside her, glancing down at her every now and then. When they'd walked two full blocks together, he sighed softly and cocked his head to the side a bit. "Where you going?" He asked, not because he was interested but because he wanted to know if she was following him or not. It made him uncomfortable because he wasn't close to anyone but one person, so he didn't know how to have a normal conversation with another person.
Though she didn't seem too normal herself. Jongsuk's brows knitted together when he saw one of his dealers selling her body to some strange man, getting into the passenger seat of his car. He sighed, making a mental note to give her some money so she won't have to resort to that type of thing.
@Lee Jongsuk (R) Sooyeon had shot Jongsuk a glare, reminding herself to act like 'her'. This was completely unlike her, and she was wondering why this male had annoyed her so much. Usually Sooyeon was all business and no horse play, but tonight she was feeling rather giddy. Being alone for 11 years had toughened up Sooyeon, but she had been rather innocent. Though she had seen it all, and had murdered tons of people, the female had still felt naive to some degree about a lot of things.
Sooyeon had ended up just ordering a plain caffeinated coffee; she was going to need it anyway. The female was planning on assassinating a target tonight, but it had required her to pull an all nighter, not like she hadn't done those tons of times. Sooyeon had ignored Jongsuk's grin, and instead gave him a weak thank you as she had somewhat followed him out, seeing that he had been going the same direction she was headed.
@Im Sooyeon He'd heard her words before he put the earbuds back in, so he started laughing to himself quietly. "Sweetie, I suggest you don't waste your time on something so stupid." Gesturing to the server, he said, "Order your coffee." Taking his own drink, he stuck a straw in the lid and sipped it. While he believed the woman's threat, nothing really scared him anymore. He'd been , beaten, and abused, and now he was numb of fear. Jongsuk wasn't even scared of death, having everything planned out for if he did die before he was supposed to.
So he wasn't feeling very threatened by her. He leaned his back against the counter, paying for the two drinks when the server handed the drink to the woman. Fortunately for Jongsuk, the odd meeting was over, and he could go back to ignoring everyone and everything like he wanted to do. He nodded his head to the woman, granting her a soft grin, before walking toward the door.
@Lee Jongsuk (R) Eying the male suspiciously, Sooyeon had been rather surprised. But how did she know that she could trust him? She didn't and that's exactly why she was on high guard the whole time. Following after Jongsuk, she had noticed that he had held the door for her, and Sooyeon had almost wanted to scoff at the act. Most of the times, she had acted as if she were a boy, so this behavior had been new for her.
"Then I think I'll leave and take my revenge on you without you even seeing it coming." She had spoke, looking up towards Jongsuk. Sooyeon had scoffed, wondering if she should stick around to bother the male more. But it wasn't in her personality to do so. She was a rather violent person, but decided to control herself in a civilized place.
@Im Sooyeon He scoffed and rolled his eyes again, wondering if he should just buy the drink so she'd leave him alone. He nodded his head toward the nearest cafe, which was across the street. To the pedestrians' approval, he finally led her out of their way and across the street into the cafe. Being the gentleman he was taught to be, he held the door open for her and led her to the front counter. He didn't bother taking his wallet out yet because he decided that if she was going to be childish with him, he'd behave in the same manner as well.
"And what if I buy myself a nice coffee without getting you a single thing?" He asked, ordering himself a caramel frappe with extra caramel. He bowed to the server thankfully as she began making his drink. Turning his head, he cast the woman a glance and a small smile as he slipped his earbuds back in. "Thanks for walking me across the street by the way."
@Lee Jongsuk (R) Sooyeon had felt rather young compared to the male standing in front of her, but decided to continue on with her request. "Mm.." She had began, her face falling back into it's neutral state. This had always happened when Sooyeon had been thinking of something, but she couldn't really think of anything at the moment. What could he do? Not much to actually satisfy the female. "Buy me a drink then. Preferably coffee." She had said, locking eyes with Jongsuk, her stare unfaltering.
@Im Sooyeon At the woman's words, an unexpected laugh flew from the male's lips. The request was completely ridiculous from Jongsuk's point of view since he believed the apology he'd given her the first time was fair enough, especially since he didn't bow to everyone. Still holding an amused grin on his face, he looked back at the female. "What kind of proper apology are you expecting?" He asked, wondering if she was messing with him or genuinely felt as if she deserved better. Shifting his weight onto his left foot, Jongsuk folded his arms over his chest and kept looking down at her, deciding to amuse this childishness of hers. "Well?"
@Lee Jongsuk (R) Watching as the male had taken out his earbuds, Sooyeon had noticed the amount of attitude that had come with the male. Secretly, Sooyeon had been rather moody herself, but that was her; this guy seemed to have no time to waste on people like the female, although she had thought of herself as rather worthy. But the female hadn't really been part of a gang; yet. She had been back when she needed protection after running away from home, but now, Sooyeon had done basically anything she had wanted, killing whoever ever now and then for money.
A bell had rang in her mind as she had heard the male voice his name aloud. "Jongsuk.." She had whispered, frowning down towards the concreted sidewalk. People had began to walk around the two now, but Sooyeon couldn't care less. "You bumped into me...I need a proper apology." She had demanded, looking up towards Jongsuk. The girl had decided to test his patience.
@Im Sooyeon Unfortunately, Jongsuk couldn't stop himself very well from letting out a sigh when the woman gestured for the removal of his earphones. He pulled them out, hip hop music blaring from the tiny speakers as his brows rose slightly at the shorter woman. When she spoke his last name, he realized that she must have been someone like him, someone dangerous and armed. He knew she wasn't a part of his own gang, too disorderly to be one of his. She must have had her own or been a part of another. Either way, he saw the mischief in her eyes; she wanted a fight.
It saddened Jongsuk at times to see people so eager to kill or cause trouble, but he had no choice in the matter. If the woman wanted to fight, he'd merely walk away because he knew she wasn't stupid enough to pick a fight in the middle of the street where the innocent freely walked and police officers were nearby. He didn't really see the need to tell her who he was, but he told her anyway, "Lee Jongsuk." He could have asked for her name or even tried to remember it himself, but he wasn't in the mood. Rolling his eyes slowly, he looked at her again. "Do you need something?"
@Lee Jongsuk (R) Sooyeon had let out a bitter chuckle, looking the male up and down in a non nonchalant way. She knew this man; he was a gang leader. She had been surprised to see him looking rather defenseless, but the female had figured he had his weapons on him somewhere. Before the male could go anywhere, Sooyeon had gestured for him to take his earphones out, planning on starting a conversation with him. The female wasn't one to talk much, but she did enjoy getting into fights.
"What were you again..? Lee something.." The woman had started up, trying to remember where she had heard his name. Back in the alleyways somewhere; Sooyeon had been certain.
@Im Sooyeon Slipping on a thin, black jacket, Jongsuk walked outside of the building, his eyes traveling to the different people walking by. He slid his hands into the pockets after pressing earbuds into his ears and playing the music from his phone at the highest possible volume. It had been a long day for him, having to kill three people who'd betrayed the gang by giving drug deal information to someone else for extra money. It was not just an insult to 21st Street, but it was a personal slap in the face for Jongsuk, who trained those men. He was going to just let them go, but that would have been more than stupid. Jongsuk worried that people might have even seen his hand shaking a bit when he fired three bullets into three different skulls.
A shudder went down his back as the gunshots echoed in his head, trying to rid himself of the memory. He should have been paying more attention to where he was walking because he'd ended up on the left side of the sidewalk, much to the annoyance of the people walking in the opposite direction of him. Yet he'd been able to steer clear of them until he ran into a woman, much shorter than he was– which wasn't odd since he was fairly tall even for a male. Something about her looked familiar, but Jongsuk didn't have the energy to try and remember her. He didn't bother taking his earphones out as he bowed to the woman and mumbled an, "I apologize."
@Lee Jongsuk (R) The night had been rather chilly for a summer night, and Sooyeon hadn't necessarily been looking for anything in particular. Not a fight, nor a deal to make like she usually had. Walking down the bustling sidewalk, the female had taken in the bright lights and signs that had haunted this city. The city had screamed sin, murder, death; and the worst part is that the feds had never actually done much about it. Not looking to where she was actually walking, the girl had found herself bumping into a male. He had been taller than her; rather slender as well. She had only stood there, waiting for the other to say something first.
