@Cloud Strife Upon his arrival the library had been one of the first things that he had investigated, and found pleasant. Thanks to the elderly librarian, whose hair was on the verge of suffering a crushing defeat under the heavy barrage of baldness, the space was kept in order and peaceful. And so this afternoon the student had taken to spending time with his cherished books in said library, like he had done the day before, and the day before that.

Although the topic at hand, American History, was not exactly what he thought of as interesting. Focusing was turning out to be a challenge, and so his gaze tended to wander over the other students, his mind leaving the challenges of being a settler in favour of contemplating what would be for dinner, and other trivial matters. It was during one of these lapses in concentration that he caught sight of a guy strangely resembling some kind of yellow bird staring at him as if he had seen a ghost. Raising an eyebrow at the stranger he let his eyes linger, as if daring the guy to speak, before turning back to his books.

He couldn’t help but flinch inwardly as the strange student did speak up, resigning himself to having to confront the odd part of the student body, as he had already labelled the other male in his mind. “… What is it?” He spoke and turned towards the blonde, once again neglecting the poor history book.

@Luneth Walking with tentative steps into the sizeable library with the books on the shelves all the way up to the high panelled ceilings of the elegantly decorated room, I swallow thickly, impressed, as I allow my gaze to drift across the expanse filled with tables and other students, littering the area as they studied. Running a hand through the spikes atop my head, I pause by the desk nearest the far right of the room and glance down to see the occupant of the chair. My eyes widen a little at the colour of the young boys hair and I can’t help but to voice my surprise with a low whispered “wow” as I all but stared at the guy. Realising a second later, that I am stood there beside the stranger with my eyes wide and my jaw slackened in a weird, dumbfounded expression, I mentally pull myself together and audibly clear my throat to gain the attention of the other male. “Excuse me… can you help me with something?”
