Some roleplayers leave the RP or become inactive because people just don't talk to them. It is also because of the fact that they wait for others to go and talk to them. For an RP that is newly established, you would find it easy for people to voluntarily talk to you, but when it is an RP that is established long ago, you need to make the move so people would talk to you. -- shipper021
Keeping members active is always difficult, but the best way it to not force it on them. Ask them to be active and if they're inactive for a week, send them a warning and have in the rules somewhere that after two weeks of inactivity they will be deleted. Not including hiatus. -- BlueGinger
Like put a certain thing (ex: dancing potato.gif) the roleplayers need to find. It could be on someone's wall or in the room layout. If they win they get activity points, legal name change, or a wish from an admin. -- cheeky
Be active. When the admins are active the roleplay is active. -- Out-Of-Control
Keep it simple. Making rules or events complicated will make your roleplay fail. Roleplayers need things to be simple. -- ImShadow
We treat our RP-ers as friends/family too. We do have rules but we could be flexible when people come to us and tell us why they didn't follow the rules. This creating bonds withing the players. Some people are inactive for awhile because of real lives activities, but they will try to come back if their circumstances are allowed. -- thrillcraft
Hardest thing? Advertising. Wooyoung and I were really lazy at the beginning of TMO and we hardly advertised. Since we didn't advertised, we weren't getting numbers at the beginning. -- Jong_In
Hmm...staying friendly with people you don't like or that annoy you? Like~ there may be people that you dislike...but you can't just throw them out cause of your personal preferences. -- Woo_Young
First, I would always greet the new members so they feel welcomed. When they don't feel welcomed, they leave u n u; Second, I would check the Masterlist everyday for inactives and if they were inactive I would put an x by their name. If they reach 7 days of inactivity I would kick them out o u o; I haven't really given anyone a prize for being active, it's just once you get close to a person they'll be comfortable talking in rooms c: Which leads to them making friends and being active \ o / /shot; + Mini-events are useful that are related to your RP c': -- cheeky
I don't like OOC rooms~ people tend to only talk in there and then "sometimes" go to the other rooms~ And well, I like confession rooms...but I'd prefer to have just like a confession a day~ people can rant anywhere they want. But sometimes I wonder why they put it in a confession room. In my head a confession isn't saying "I'm lonely."...a confession would be more meaningful. If you wanna tell someone you're lonely...well then go and make friends... Tell them you're lonely~ but I think people don't understand that.. -- Woo_Young
On Enforcing Rules | Blogs. I like to use blogs with gifs. Mainly because if I put something funny with it, people will remember as it will trigger their memory. Also I go and talk to the RPer. -- Jong_in
On Enforcing Rules | Know your facts and do your homework. If there is a conflict between players, understand both sides fully before handing out warning. Don't just take one side. This happened to me in one roleplay. Admins have a job to protect players and enforce rules fairly, regardless of personal feelings. If you can't properly investigate a situation and rule fairly, you shouldn't be admining. -- ImShadow
On Biased Admins | Some of them are.....It depends on the admin......most of the rps I co-admin for the admins are fair...and I am not saying this because they are my friends but they are honest and they stick to the rules they have set.......I kinda look up to them even though I am older....... -- Alpha_Wolf
