@lee jongsuk ( I KNOW!!!! >~< I wish there was a shop like right next to my house! XD )
"I'll meet you in the cafeteria then!" she said with a smile. "Save me a spot okay? I'm gonna go get everything." she said as she patted his back and left the class room and headed for the lockers. She quickly made her way towards her locker to get their food.
@hwang miyoung [XD I know right? I don't get to drink it very often... It's a tragedy.]
Jongsuk shrugged. "It doesn't really matter to me." He didn't usually go to the cafeteria. He'd only been in there a few times, and when he had, he always sat by himself. On a normal day, he'd just go up to the roof and take a nap during lunch. And usually he'd stay up there for a period or two, missing at least a couple of his classes in order to catch up on his sleep. He yawned, still a little tired.
@lee jongsuk ( *gasps* How can one dislike bubble tea?! It's a sin!! XD )
Tiffany smiled, glad that he was willing to try her food and not decline her offer. She knew that he wasn't a great cook, considering how he skipped more than a meal a day. But then again, not a lot of guys her age really liked to cook, nor learn from someone when they could use the time to be doing the regular stuff that guys do. Hearing the class being dismissed while their conversation was still going on, Tiffany smiled and patted Jongsuk's shoulder. "Meet me at the cafeteria?" she asked him.
@hwang miyoung [I love bubble tea~ But seriously, who doesn't? XD I know maybe one person.]
Jongsuk nodded slowly. "If you say so." He didn't really doubt her abilities, although coming from a family that owned chain restaurants in no way guaranteed cooking ability. Heck, his family owned a restaurant or two (or twenty, he wasn't much involved in that side of the business), and he could barely do anything besides cook ramen. Of course, no one had ever bothered to teach him, and he had never tried on his own, either.
@lee jongsuk (that sounds... sweeet~..... Oooh!! I want bubble tea!)
"You'll like my cooking," she said with a smile. "I promise! I've been cooking since I was five~! My family also owns chain restaurants throughout Asia too~" Miyoung was excited to finally have someone to eat her food during lunch.
"I imagine it wouldn't..." He let out a long-suffering sigh. He gave her a side-long glance and shrugged. "I guess. Not that hungry, though." He really wasn't. He was used to not eating much, considering he usually didn't have enough to time to get anything substantial to eat.
@lee jongsuk (I want... Ice cream... And waffles.... *drools*)
Miyoung pouted at Jongsuk's response. "I heard that. You don't need Miyoung repellent~ it won't work!" She exclaimed, sticking out her tongue. She poked him again, "I packed lunch enough for two, wanna eat with me?" She asked, tilting her head and waiting for his answer.
@hwang miyoung [I feel like I'm always hungry these days....]
Jongsuk swatted Miyoung's hand again yet again. "I think I need Miyoung repellent..." He muttered quietly to himself. "Stop touching," he said, more loudly for her to hear. He shrugged slightly. "I don't know. To the roof. Or to the cafeteria, if I actually decide to eat anything."
Miyoung smiled and felt accomplished when she saw Jongsuk paying attention and doing what he said he would. She wondered how he got through his class and all the workload without failing. Or maybe he was failing and she just didn't know about it. "Where are you going to go for lunch?" She asked after she poked his arm to get his attention.
Jongsuk kept his attention on the teacher, marginally paying attention to the lesson. He was doing well in all of his classes, so he didn't really have any reason to actually pay attention. He did just fine either way, though Miyoung didn't know that of course. Unless she was just that nosy... He sighed quietly. He hadn't met anyone in this school as nosy as this girl. It kept him on his toes, that was for certain.
@lee jongsuk (haha You'll like it there! It's been awhile since I've been there too but, for me it's only been 3 years. But I still remember everything so that's good! Be sure to eat all the street food... It's sooooo delicious! *drools*)
Miyoung's smile faded and was replaced with a pout when she saw Jongsuk laying his head back down on the desk. She let him go for the time being, but if he tries to go to sleep, that's when she'll wake him up and annoy him once more. After all, it was her job; that is, in her case.
@hwang miyoung [Ah~ It's been too long since I've been there >.< I think I was 10 or 11? Probably 10. So about like 5 years. I didn't really spend much time wandering the streets, but when I go again I'm definitely going to spend some more time in Seoul, if possible~]
Jongsuk turned his head and shot Miyoung a glance. He huffed quietly and laid his head back down on the desk, if only to spite her. He did keep his eyes open, though. Maybe he'd make a little bit of effort in staying awake.
@lee jongsuk (Ehh~ Busan? I have family over there too! But I stayed with my aunt in Seoul. I've been to Busan a couple of times! Of course I've been to Namsan tower! It's so beautiful there! I took a lot of pictures of it during the night! Have you been to Hongdae or Namdemun for shopping and food? everything is just heaven over there! I love shopping there!)
Miyoung did the same along with Jongsuk and the rest of the class. After the greeting to the teacher she sat back down and glanced over to Jongsuk who was slumped on his chair and smiled. "At least he's not putting his head down and sleeping like last class.." she said to herself.
@hwang miyoung [I usually don't spend much time in Seoul, I stay in Busan with my grandparents. It's nice. I really love the area. And then we take the train for like weekend trips up to Seoul to see my uncle. Have you been to Namsan tower? It's really fun at night, laser shows and lots of people.]
Jongsuk kept his eyes on the door, waiting for the teacher to enter. He tapped his fingers absentmindedly against the desk, his chin resting gently near the edge. Once the teacher entered, he joined the others in bowing and slumped back into his chair once more.
@lee jongsuk (Yeah! I stayed at Seoul! It was awesome there and would've continued to be awesome... only if I didn't have to go to school there.... But I heard that college is more laid back than how high school is though! :3)
Miyoung smiled as she waited for the class to start. Just after this one, it would be lunch. She was excited to get out of her seat and actually do the things she wanted to do during her free time. Twirling her pencil around her fingers, she yawned softly and waited for the teacher to come in.
@hwang miyoung [Yeah~ I'm hopefully heading over the summer after I graduate high school. I definitely wanna try to maybe study abroad over there, and probably live there for a while as an adult :P I don't know why, but I really love it in Korea. I feel so at home there. Did you stay in Seoul?]
Jongsuk only grunted in response, not bothering to put together a coherent reply. He laid his head down on his desk but kept his eyes open. The chances weren't high that he wouldn't nod off, however he was sitting or whatever he was doing. So he just stayed as he was.
@lee jongsuk (Yeah for like two years... It was horrible.. The work load and stuff... I'm kinda glad I'm in the states now and not over there. The teachers are pretty strict! And totally not hot like how it is in k-dramas! XD but I also miss it because of the fun outside stuff that I can't do here in the U.S. it's an awful place to go to school cause you don't get a lot of free time... But an awesome place to visit!)
Miyoung sighed, "How are you going to graduate? Don't you get yelled at by the teachers?" She asked, amazed how he hand the guts not to pay attention in class and get in trouble by the teachers. A smile formed on her lips when she heard him say that he'd attempt to try. "Please try okay?" She said with enthusiasm. "Hwaiting!"
@hwang miyoung [Cool~ Did you go to school there? O.o Mad props. My friend's dad has his sabbatical so they went back to Korea for the year, and he has to go to school there and he hates it XD I don't think I'd be able to survive school in Korea. My mom threatens to ship me off sometimes, if I'm really pissing her off.]
Jongsuk batted Miyoung's hand away. "I don't particularly care. So it's fine." He sighed quietly. Her enthusiasm was making him tired. This girl sure was bubbly. "I'll try, I guess. But no promises." He wasn't very optimistic that he would be able to stay awake.
@lee jongsuk (Yeah, I know, but I didn't know if you knew that too so I just decided to go with the USA way~ I lived in Korea for awhile so, yeah.)
Miyoung smiled at Jongsuk's thanks and shook her head. "No problem." she replied back with enthusiasm. "Wake up and actually listen during class, the next one's that one really mean teacher. He'll put you in detention even if you like it or not..." she said, poking his arm to keep him awake.
@hwang miyoung [In Korea, students don't move. It's the teachers that change, so the kids stay in the same room all day. Just saying.]
Jongsuk blinked at Miyoung blearily and grabbed the water. "Thanks," he mumbled quietly, still not quite completely awake. "Don't know why you woke me up. I'm just gonna sleep again." He took a small sip of the water and settled his head back onto the desk.
@lee jongsuk Tiffany patted his back softly before going back and putting her stuff away. "Get it together.. The bells ringing... In a minute!" She said, pulling out a bottle of water from her back and placing it in front of him. "Here. Help yourself!" She said with a smile.
@hwang miyoung Jongsuk brought his head up slightly. "Mm." He rubbed his eyes gently and stifled a yawn. He sat up completely and stretched lightly, getting the kinks out of his back. It really wasn't comfortable to fall asleep at a desk. It did nothing to help his already aching back.
@lee jongsuk Twenty minutes later, Miyoung noticed that the class was going to be ending in five minutes. Smiling, she stretched slightly and put her things away in her bag before looking at the sleeping figure of the man next to her. "Jongsuk-ah... Lee jongsuk... Class is ending in five minutes." She said shaking him softly to wake him up. "Wake up."
@hwang miyoung Jongsuk hummed quietly in agreement before turning his head again. He slowed his breathing and calmed his mind down so that he could finally drift off into sleep. His dreams were dark as they always were, but he was already so used to darkness. He slept peacefully, though.
@lee jongsuk Tiffany bit her bottom lip, laughing awkwardly. "Haha.. Sorry... Sleep well okay? I'll wake you up when class is almost over.." she said patting his head before going back to look at the board the teacher was writing on. Taking a couple more notes, she started to draw pictures around the notes she had already taken.
