Beasts' Den

@✞ Kris For a second Sunggyu thought he saw recognition flash across Kris' features, like he was getting a glimpse of the man he once knew before, but it was quickly taken over once more by the beast. Steeling his expression, the stubborn healer refused to be driven away and insistently reached for the other's arm, holding onto it as if he had the strength to actually stop him from going off on his own. "Yah. Anyone in your condition shouldn't be alone. Being a child or a man or beast has nothing to do with it. And secondly, you can't tell me what to do. You never could. So give it up."

Kris rested his head against the wall his eyes closed and his senses listening to his surroundings making sure there was no one in the area. He listened as he heard an animal chew happily on some food and the distant sound of water but no extra heart beats and no foot steps. He heard the heeled in the den, heard him wake up and seam to panic before rushing towards him. He expected the healer to run out see him and then run off scares but he wasn't prepared for what did happen.

He had my heard his own name in a long while and it shocked him to hear it from a ran down healer. He looked closer at the figure and his heart squeezed in pain at the person in front of him. Sunggyu. Gyu. His gyu. The pain quickly faded pushed back by the beast he was and the very small hit of surprise I'm his eyes turned to boredom. Turning his face away from the touch not wanting the show how much he wanted it, how much he wanted to feel the others soft fingers touch him. "I can take care of myself in not a child. I jusy needed some air.... you can leave now" he said coldly turning to look coldly back at the male

@[SH] ✞ Kris The shifting of the man next to him caused Sunggyu to slowly come back to consciousness, his brow furrowing as all his limbs felt sluggish and heavy. The consequence of using up so much of his own energy to heal. Little wounds were still of no consequence, but anything life threatening always wiped him out now. Blindly feeling across the ground, he sat up with a startled gasp as he realized that Kris was no longer there, turning in search of him. He scrambled to his feet and ran unsteadily toward the light leading out of the den, his heart pattering frantically in his chest. No... He couldn't lose him again. There was no way the beast could have gotten far. Not after so much blood loss. Without sufficient rest to replenish himself, he'd need to feed... There could still be beast tamers after him, too, and he couldn't possibly fend them off.

Thankfully, he didn't have to tap into his poor beast hunting skills when he saw the figure slumped against the wall at the mouth of the cave, his footsteps slowing as he approached. "... Kris." The name came in a sigh of relief as he fell to his knees by his former friend, his gaze full of worry as he noticed his more monstrous features had returned. He only hesitated slightly before reaching out to gently touch his cheek, trying to get through to him. "Please... You shouldn't be moving in your condition. Gods, I was so scared for a moment..."

@✷ Sunggyu [SH] Kris’ dream continued showing him the first time he ever lay with Sunggyu at the beach the perfectness of it, then it moved to the last time he saw the healer, the waterfall when he had told him that he wanted to be selfish and have both gyu and woo. He knew now he had been so stupid and knew that if he could go back then at least gyu wouldn’t have left him, that is one thing he knew for a fact, gyu was the only person he could trust, the only person that wouldn’t have left him. But he did. Kris’ dream turned sour, he saw the last time he saw woo, the last time he had been with anyone. The pain from that day ripped though he and all thoughts of gyu disappeared he was left once again with the pain of being abandoned.

Kris felt the healer working on him even though he was still dreaming, he felt the pain leaving his body, maybe not fully but at least it was reduced. Once the physical pain subsided he fell into a deep dreamless sleep as the healer worked on him nothing could have woken him. Sleep was not something Kris had known well the past two years, his sleep had been plagued with far to man any memories that he never slept well enough but with the help from the healer he finally managed to get a deep sleep.

Kris slept for at least a few hours before he woke up his beast form being the first thing that he did, he couldn’t believe that at such a weak state he has changed back into that weakling especially in front of another fae. Sitting up he winced at the slight pain before realizing that the fae had clearly patched him up which in his opinion had been a mistake. He looked around and noticed the sleeping fae, shaking his head he stood up and brushed himself off before staking out of the den. He didn’t care about the fae it was his own fault for falling asleep there in the first place. He’s not to blame if another beast came along and found the fae. With a sigh he sat by the entrance of the den his head resting against the wall, he was still in a bit of pain anyway. It wasn’t a good idea to travel while hurt he told himself.

Feeling the other finally go slack beneath his touch and sag to the ground, Sunggyu sighed in relief, his hand trembling as it fell back to his side. That was a close call... He didn't have much time to collect himself, unfortunately. Not with the amount of blood he could guess his impromptu patient had lost. Crouching down, he moved to set the crystal close by so he could see what he was working with, the soft light finally falling on the face of the unconscious beast. All at once it felt like the air had been knocked out of him and he had to brace himself against the floor with one hand to keep from falling onto it... With the monstrous features faded, he found himself staring down at a man he hadn't seen in over five years. His childhood best friend... His love that was never meant to be.

What in the Hells had happened to him? Shaking his head, Sunggyu couldn't think about that right now and forced himself to focus. His time was precious, every moment counted. Holding his hands above Kris' form, he closed his eyes and called forth all the blessed magic within him, a muttered mantra falling from his lips as glowing tendrils of energy began to flow from his fingertips. It bathed Kris in a ethereal glow and eventually stopped the bleeding so that he could focus on putting him back together. Even though the strain of using his magic exhausted him, he worked to stitch the wounds closed in the low light, putting herbal dressings on them so that they would heal quicker. He prayed it would be enough... because he didn't know what he would do if it wasn't. Kris had disappeared from his life too many times. He couldn't fathom it happening again.

Even now, after he'd felt him beneath his own hands, it felt unreal to have him there. He'd dreamed about Kris countless times, but none of them compared to actually being there with him. The healer stretched out onto his side next to the slumbering beast, soft eyes studying the features of the man like he was trying to carve them into his memory once more. He still looked the same... But was he the same man he'd known before? Never had he imagined Kris could be so feral, lost to his inner beast. Sunggyu reached out, gently resting his hand on Kris' chest so he could feel the gentle rise and fall with each breath, the slow patter of his heartbeat... Before he knew it, his exhaustion won out and the other's presence had lulled him into a light sleep.

as the fae refused to leave a flash of a face ran through his mind causing his shoulders to slacken as he thought about his old friend who would have done the same thing, his friend who would be disappointed now if he saw Kris like this, he was the kind of beast that he has never wanted to be, never wanted to be named as. the healer caught him at a particularly weak moment as he put his hand on his shoulder feeling the energy go through him he allowed himself to change out of his beat from to the Kirs that the healer knew before he passed out onto the floor unknown as to whether it was because of the fae of the injuries.

Kris dreamed of the ocean, of the night he had spent with the healer that even now could cause his hard shell to break. after he had again lost contact with his friend gyu he had made it a point to not think about him anymore. which was something he stuck to strictly especially these last two years. this was the first time in 5 years he had dreamt, he dreamed of skin on skin, passionate kisses and heated touches, the pleasure and the pain laced with one another.

@[SH] ✞ Kris Holding out the crystal in front of him, Sunggyu felt his heart seize in his chest when the light illuminated the bloody, monstrous face of a beast baring his fangs. Every fiber of his being screamed at him to run, but he was frozen in place. Any fae would have assumed it was the blood of their own kind that ran in rivulets down the creature's chin, but Sunggyu had always been one to give beasts the benefit of the doubt. A long time ago, someone had taught him that beasts could be good, too... The thought spurned an ache in his chest and he set his feet in determination. He was not going to walk away from anyone in that condition. For all he knew, a beast tamer had attacked without a second thought.

"I'd regret leaving far more." He managed to keep his voice firm as he spoke, recalling how he'd had to scold his old friend years ago, and took a step closer to the doubled over beast. It was only a matter of time until he succumbed to his wounds. "Now stay down and shut up if you know what's good for you. You're lucky you're still alive." Reaching out, he placed his hand on the beast's shoulder, closing his eyes as he willed a calming energy from himself to try to subdue him.

@✷ Sunggyu [SH] Kris groaned as he heard the person get closer his head was spinning, probably from blood loss he though as he tried to get up. Grittinghis teeth through the pain he got to his knees just as he heard what smelled like a fae say he wouldn’t hurt him. He barked out a painful laugh at the comment and stood to his full hight just in time for the crystal to brighten faintly, he showed his blood coated teeth to the other and snarled “I don’t deserve help. Get out of here before you regret coming in here” he said bitterly just as he fell back to his knees doubling over in pain from his wounds.

@[SH] ✞ Kris Hearing the pained sound echoing off the cave walls, Sunggyu knew he couldn't turn back. Not when someone was obviously hurt. Tentatively walking into the dark den, he felt along the wall until his eyes adjusted somewhat to the darkness, stopping every so often just in case to listen if something was creeping up on him. It could have been a trap, he realized a bit too late. Yet the smell of blood was unmistakably stronger here. When he finally noticed the figure slumped against the cave wall, he paused, holding out a hand towards them. "... I'm not going to hurt you." He assured him softly, his voice a bit strained from the nervous lump throatening to choke him. It was still too dark for him to make out the man's features, but that didn't matter right now. Reaching into his pack, he took out a small crystal, imbuing it with some of his own energy to cause it to glow faintly. "I can help you..."

@✷ Sunggyu [SH] Kris growled feral as he pinned the hunter down his teeth sunk into the flesh blood e exploded into his mouth ‘it’s been two years’ he though as he fed. unfortunately for kris the hunter wasn’t alone and the fae had gathered the balls to attack him with a dagger which created a gash down his back from his shoulder to below his ribs. ‘Everyone has left him’ his mind called as he looked at the fae who had dropped the dagger and was looking terrified at the beast. Kris pounced on the fae pinning him down on the floor knowing that the hunter was to exhausted from blood loss to move. ‘No one ever stuck by his so there was no point in trying anymore’ a burning had started in his gut as he drank the fae’s blood so he spared no time in taking the fae to stop the burning. Once he had finish he left the fae on the ground as he stood up to be met with a dagger in the stomach from the hunter and then in his shoulder before the hunter fell to the floor again. With a pained growl he spread off from the two fae’s and to the place he knew he would be safe. The beasts den.

He sat in the den his hand over his stomach as he tied to decide what to do when he heard a call at the mouth of the den, he growled at the voice but instead of a growl a pained sound escaped his lips. He groaned his head resting again the wall, he shifted slightly pain running though his body causing his to make a loud pained noise.

@[SH] ✞ Kris Sunggyu couldn't explain the strange pull he felt to leave the safety of the fae village and go out into the wilderness that day. He wasn't exactly a shut in by any means, often venturing to places known to be more dangerous for his kind so that he could gather herbs he needed to heal. Yet this was different. As he attempted to walk silently through the underbrush, he couldn't ignore the feeling of anxiety and... excitement that twisted in his gut. Like something was waiting for him out there, but he didn't know what. Even though he knew this portion of the forest well, he began feeling like there were eyes on him, something lurking behind every tree. The wind rustled the boughs up above and the arbor seemed to whisper to turn back, just as that very breeze carried an unmistakable scent to him. Blood...

Fear petrified the silvery healer's body and he stood there, listening intently for any lurking danger. Smelling blood was never a good sign. Regardless of what race it belonged to, it would likely draw in beasts... But what if it was a fae or beast tamer out here who needed his help? He couldn't simply turn back and leave them to such a dark fate. After following his nose for a few more paces, he found himself standing before a foreboding hollow, a spot of moss on the entryway stained with blood. This was his last chance to turn back... or perhaps it was already too late. It was with that thought that Sunggyu steeled himself and somehow found his voice. "Hello...?" He called meekly as he peered into the darkness of the burrow. "Is there anyone here? Do you need help?"

@✞ V Kris chuckled and hummed "i know it's a bit weird but i love them both and just as much, with one he's my child hood friend and the other well he started as just a way to get rid of the burning of my heat" he explained and shrugged with a light chuckle "what about you? anyone special?"

@✞ V Kris smiled and leaned against the door frame "it's kinda complicated... there's two. One called Sunggyu and another called Woohyun" he replied happily

@✞ V Kris shrugged "just some thing i left here back when i was staying here" he said and shrugged before chuckling lightly "V, really there isn't anything to worry about... anyway i have my loved one" he said, having someone like that meant a lot to beast.

@✞ V Kris blinked and watched the other scamper back into his room "V, i won't hurt you... last time was only because of my heat" he said "I'm just here to get a few things" he said smiling at the other a bit

Kris sighed as he walked towards the beasts den, he hadn't been there in a long time... maybe over 100 years, he had been nearby but not inside like he was at the current moment. he looked around and saw a familiar beast "V?" he called tilting his head looking at the young beast
