@❁ Kyungsoo He grinned excitedly, anticipating the moment his teeth would pierce the berry... Though his excitement died a little when he saw the others face, who obviously was shocked that he was really going to do this. His mind began to race again when the other took the berry. "cheers!" he grinned, and bumped his berry into the other's. Then, he popped the glowing berry into his moth, and bit down into it...
@ළ Jonghyun Kyungsoo blinked, he didn't actually think that the vampire would jump of the idea of them eating a berry at the same time, after all he had just been joking. He didn't mind though, he was confident that nothing would happen after all. He got a berry for himself, smiling as it almost seemed to twinkle in between his fingers.
"Cheers?" He said with a silly smile, holding his berry out as if it was a shot glass.
@❁ Kyungsoo Jonghyun let out a light laugh too. "Yah! Why?" he asked when the elf suggested that he try a berry. He wasn't sure what the berry would do to him... Maybe it was dangerous? "Oh! Then let's try them together!" he nodded frantically, liking that idea much more than him just trying it by himself. He picked up a berry off the bush, rolling the seemingly magical berry lightly between his fingers as he stared at it, and then looked to the other
@ළ Jonghyun Kyungsoo found the image of a vampire glaring at berries rather amusing and he let out a soft chuckle.
"Be my guest then, I honestly don't know what they would do to you but they don't cause any harm when I bake with them so I don't think you would die." He said with a casual shrug. "If you want to I could try one too, you know.. at least we'll die together." He joked.
@❁ Kyungsoo His eyes narrowed at the berries even more. They were so mysterious, and he wondered why the elf hadn't tried it already on it's own. They were known for their curiosity, and even more so for their habit of eating anything they see.
"Are you sure? I mean... why not just try one right now?" He asked, looking at the elf in front of him. With the amount of odd things elves ate, he was sure that the berry would do no harm, and if it was okay in his cooking then why not on it's own? Kim Jonghyun was curious, and he wanted answers
@ළ Jonghyun Kyungsoo let out a chuckle at the vampires outburst. He was much more relaxed now, which was a welcomed change for him. He held a berry in between his index finger and his thumb, looking at it with a smile.
"Well, that's all I use them for, I haven't actually tried eating one myself." He said with a shrug, putting the berry down in his basket. He felt grateful that he other was helping him pluck them because it was a really tiring task. "But I'm sure they have other magical functions, don't know if it's wise to try one without asking around first though." He said with a gentle smile.
@❁ Kyungsoo Jonghyun nodded when the elf said that they were magical, having heard such from his parents when he once tried to take one to eat it, but got punished by his farther because he really wanted to try one.
"Is that it? Is that all they do?!" He asked in shock. He had been expecting something truly magical... But now he was just left with disappointment and a bitter memory. That was all? That was really all? He shook his head in disbelief. He put the berries into the other's basket, staring at their golden glow. "So... what about if you eat one by it's self?" He asked curiously. He was sure... or more so wanted to cling onto the belief that these berries really did have a magical property to them.
@ළ Jonghyun Kyungsoos brows furrowed as he thought about it, what was the berries like? It had always been his special ingredient in a lot of recipes over the years and it was probably his favorite thing to use for decoration due to its golden glow that complimented almost all other colors.
"They are magical" He said and let out a soft laugh, he guessed that was as close to describing them as he could get. "It's almost like they magically transform in to the perfect taste for each thing that I make.. you can never go wrong with them in a batter." He said and sighed blissfully, he remembered when he had struggled with making the perfect ice cream flavor and had accidentally added the golden berries instead of cloud-berries and the ice cream had turned out to be the most delicious thing he had eaten in his life. He shuffled over to the bush and started picking berries as well, he wasn't sure if the vampire was going to keep the berries to himself or if he was actually helping but it was kind of nice to have company.. no matter how strange it felt to be this close to a vampire without it threatening to kill him.
@❁ Kyungsoo "They grow on the other side of the boarder?" He asked, tilting his head. He wasn't sure exactly where they grew, just that they were hard to find and often in hard to reach places.
He watched the way that the elf looked him up and down as if judging him, and thinking about what he thought that he was like. The elf had a little flour and other spots on his clothes, he had guessed that he had quite a messy job. From the way that he was talking about a recipe earlier, he guessed that he must be a cook, most likely a baker. He had a burning question. "So... what are the berries like?" He asked, as he chuckled slightly when the other told him that he was lost.
Jonghyun ran over to the berry bush and started picking lots of the berried, ready to give to the elf. He could tell that the creature was burning to pick some more.
@ළ Jonghyun Kyungsoo nodded in confirmation as the vampire speculated about the berries.
"I can usually find them closer to home but it took a long time to reach them this time." He said and rubbed the back of his neck, a sheepish smile on his lips. This situation was quite weird to Kyungsoo though, after being in a gang that absolutely loathed vampires he was taught that they where disgusting and the scum of the earth.. but this vampire didn't look particularly disgusting, he would actually say that the vampire was dressed more neatly then himself, but he was always covered in different spots that had gotten on his shirt during baking so he guessed that he shouldn't really be comparing a vampires neatness to his own. His eyes then widened a bit.. the heart of the forest? Had he really walked that far? One, two, three, he counted in his head.. trying to wrap his mind around the fact that he had walked far from the boarder.
"Oh.. that's strange.. I didn't think I was walking that far, I guess I'm lost then." He said and let out an awkward laugh. "I uh.. kind of need to collect more berries though." He said as he looked over at the larger bush again, since he had gone this far he might as well get as man berries as he possibly could.
Sehun went into the forest quietly and finding his prey. Suddenly he saw a rabbit. He came closer to the rabbit and eat the rabbit. Then he went out from the forest.
@❁ Kyungsoo Jonghyun had only seen few elves about, yet he had hardly even spoke to one until now. Elves were funny little creatures, always scuttling about without a word. They were very private, and therefore they intrigued the vampire.
He found the way that the creature stuttered cute, elves were clumsy, and often really shy and awkward unlike his own species. He listed closely to the elf, knowing that they would never repeat their own words, being so shy. "I see, the precious golden berries" He nodded, smiling at the cuteness in front of him. Elves were also knows for their lack of navigation abilities, and often wandered about in a daydream only to end up somewhere they didn't recognise, which was why Jonghyun had often seen confused elves walking around near the boarder, but never before had he seen a lost elf in the heart of the forest. The vampire could tell that the other creature was a bit apprehensive, the way his eyes were widened slightly, and he looked over him. Jonghyun pretended to be surprised that the other didn't know where he was, raising his eyebrows as if he was, but he did already guess that the other was lost. "You don't know?" He asked. "We are in the heart of the forest, far from the boarder" He nodded.
@ළ Jonghyun Kyungsoo reached out and took ahold of his basket and unsure smile gracing his lips as he gave a mini-bow with his head as a thank you. He had honestly never talked to a vampire before and the seemingly friendly nature of this particular one was throwing him way off guard.
"I uh.. you see.. uh.. well.." He squeezed his eyes shut as he tried to overcome his own awkwardness. One, two, three.. he counted again and opened them again. "These berries are the final ingredient in a recipe I've been working on. They don't grow in a lot of places so I was just.. well.. walking until I found them I guess." He said and let out his breath, he was still on edge but at least the vampire was male, had he came across a female vampire like this in the forest he.. well he didn't even want to think about what would happen. He let his large eyes wander over the vampire, having never really stood this close to one before. He found the creature rather interesting, and he didn't look nearly as disgusting as he had pictured vampires do in his head. He crinkled his nose again.
"You.. don't happen to know exactly where I am though?" He said and let out an awkward laugh.
@❁ Kyungsoo Jonghyun waited patiently, however he was getting worried when the elf lying on the ground didn't respond. He saw the eye of the boy lying of the ground open, but just for a second. This was a relief for Jonghyun, at least he knew that the creature wasn't dead. Another few long seconds passed before he saw another movement. He looked into the eyes of the elf, who was obviously shocked as he looked up at the vampire. The other sat up, and Jonghyun leaned a little back. "Oh these? Yes I did" He smiled, and held the basket out to the elf, a light smile on his face. "You look a little puzzled... I was wondering, what is a little elf like you doing so deep into the heart of the forest? Perhaps looking for these scared berries?" He asked, tilting his head in question. It was common for clumsy elves to get lost, but it seemed as if maybe this elf knew where he was going, and had a clear purpose for his long venture.
@ළ Jonghyun One, two, three, four. Kyungsoo counted the seconds in his head, determined to stand up when he finally reached 30 but before he could do so he felt something poke his side and he crinkled his nose in annoyance before he realized that SOMETHING had poked him and last time he checked he was definitely alone in the forest. And then a voice carried through the otherwise silent air and he froze, unsure what would be waiting for him if he decided to open his eyes. Though he was pretty sure he couldn't fake being dead. He peaked one eye open, immediately shutting it again once he spotted a figure leaning over him. One, two, three.. he counted in his head and willed himself to open both of his eyes this time. His eyes fell upon the stranger who was currently frowning and it took him several seconds before he realized that the person above him definitely wasn't an elf and he gulped. He hesitantly sat himself up, unsure what this situation was exactly. He wasn't scared but he definitely wasn't calm either. Then he noticed the berries that he had previously dropped when he slipped, the berries who he could distinctly remember lying all over the ground. His eyes widened at the sight of them neatly laying in the woven basket.
"Uh.. the berries." He said and stared at them with ridiculously large eyes. "Did you.." He started and looked up at the stranger again. "pick them up?" He finished, an awestruck look adorning his features.
@❁ Kyungsoo Jonghyun watched as the stranger tripped and fell, the mystical berries falling out all over the place.
"NOT THE BERRIES!" He gasped, and ran straight over to the basket and started putting all of the berries into the basket, making sure not to miss a single one at all. After hearing such exciting things about them, he was determined not to let a single one of them go to waste. It would be a shame, as they had such legends surrounding them. After a short while he stood up with a grin, excited that he had successfully found every single one, and put them back into the basket. He prodded the stranger who still hadn't got up with his foot a few times. "Hello? Hellooooo~?" He called, crouching down over the clumsy by nature creature. The basket was over his arm, and he frowned slightly, waiting for any sign of life.
@ළ Jonghyun The first small bush wasn't enough to even fill up a third of his weaved basket, and the long walk there was beginning to take its toll on him. He placed the basket down on the ground for a bit so he could rest his arms. He took in his surroundings again, not really noticing how much different the forest looked from what he was used to. He did however see a larger bush with the golden berries not to far from where he was standing. He glanced down at the bush he had been collecting the berries from and decided that he could move on to the next, happily picking up his basket to walk over to the other bush, however his foot got caught and he fell over, spilling out half of the berries he had plucked.
"NOOOOO!" He whined out, groaning in frustration and rolled over on his back, feeling sticks and stones dig in to his back but he didn't care. He was too tired to keep going and at that moment he'd rather just have the ground swallow him whole.
@❁ Kyungsoo Jonghyun was just strolling through the forest as he always did on particularly gloomy afternoons. He passed the many dead trees, his wolf Roo following shortly behind him. Whenever Jonghyun wasn't working he would take his 'pet' wolf out to walk about with him. Jonghyun had known Roo since he was a pup, and that was when he found out that he could communicate with animals. Ever since Jonghyun would protect Roo with his life, and Roo would protect Jonghyun. Roo let out a low snarl to warn Jonghyun that someone had not long gone by this way.
Following the wolf, Jonghyun soon came to the middle of the darkest forest in the whole vampire world. It was said that a mystical bush of berries would grow around this area, and they were said to be of high value and nutrition, and even mystical properties. He saw a figure up ahead, who seemed to be minding their own business, picking something from a seemingly small bush. Jonghyun told Roo to stay where he is while Jonghyun went to see what was going on. "No... ing... way" He mumbled when he saw the bush, his mouth agape
@ළ Jonghyun It was a calm afternoon and Kyungsoo was out to collect berries and different kinds of plants that he could use while baking. It had been a busy day at the bakery, way too many female customers for his taste but it was just something he had to deal with in his occupation. And he spent most of his time in the kitchen anyway so it wasn't like he had to talk to them often, thank god. He was now strolling the forest, breathing in the fresh air. He was always the most peaceful when he was strolling the forest on his own, solitude being his best company. However this particular day he couldn't seem to find the special kind of berries he needed for the new recipe he was creating. He walked further and further in but the berries didn't seem to be anywhere in sight. He plopped down on a rock and let a heavy sigh escape his lips.
He rested for a little bit before he stood up again, determined to find those berries no matter how far he would have to walk in to the forest. He took in his surroundings before he headed off further in to the forest again, scanning for the special berries. It took him another hour of walking before he finally caught a glimpse of the golden berries and a victorious laugh made it's way out. He smiled widely and bent down and started filling his basket, humming a cheery tune while doing so. He hadn't though about just how far he had walked in the forest though, and that he had crossed over to the other side long ago.
i have a question -- does the writing section of the application have to be something we come up on the spot about our character or something that we've already written in another roleplay? o u o
