against popular belief, vampires can consume human foods and beverages. however, they still require blood to keep them alive and must have at least a ratio of ten ounces of blood to one ounce of a human beverage or meal just to survive. thus one cannot tell a vampire by what and how they eat.

As for the myth that vampires can't be out in the sunlight for fear that they will burst into flames and die... that's not necessarily true. a vampire who has fed recently can walk in the sun uncovered to a magical protection. vampires who have not fed, however, will be too weak to keep that protection up, and will burn in the light of the sun. 

garlic and crosses really don't do much to the vampires. some vampires even wear crosses to mock the human belief that the sign of the lord will drive away the demons of the night. as for garlic, it's just a spice. some vampires like it.

mreg is accepted, but let the admin know your character is going to be pregnant. Pregnancy lasts for at least three irl weeks - i would prefer, if mpreg is necessary, that the baby dies in birth or before so that there are no wee ones running around tbh. if not then it's fine, but not too many kids please.

so all of the vampire characters except npcs corrected for the sake of battles will be in the coven that lives in the castle in the deep dark woods.
