RANKS:
Alpha: The top of the ranking. Even if the physique of some might seem more delicate, there's no way to beat an alpha innate strength. It showing more in their wolf counterparts as they are the biggest in their pack with the role of protecting the rest and thus for centuries they have been honoured and respected, having the best job positions for their strength and leadership skills. Even when proven they have a hard time controlling their emotions and needs. They also have a knot at the base of the member, which is a bundle of nerves that expands when the alpha is about to to lock in his partner and keep the seed in, increasing the probabilities of a pregnancy. They can't get pregnant by any means but can impregnate omegas and betas. Alphas have a more spicy, bitter scent but is not always the case for everyone.
Ruts: Alphas go into rut every four weeks for three days. During this time, the alphas become pretty aggressive and possessive, seeking for any unmated omega or beta. An alpha in rut can trigger a heat on an omega, however a beta is unaffected by it.
Betas: Betas are the most versatiles, a must in every pack as they take in any role missing. They are special in the sense that they can be born with a knot, albeit much more smaller than an alpha's and slick, the omegas self lubrication but in much smaller quantities and need more stimulation for it. however that's for certain cases as many are born with either trait or none at all. They can get pregnant by alphas and other betas. Betas have a more mild, soothing scent but it varies.
Rut/Heat: Betas can go in rut or heats depending on what traits they were born with or what role he has taken with his mate. They go in either every 5 weeks for 3 days and are much more controlled during it, almost unaffected as it only increases their lust during that time.
Omegas: The bottom of the ranking. for many years omegas were seen as simply incubators, they're slowly more respected but there's still a lot of misconceptions and injustices against them. Omegas have slick with is a very sweet smelling fluid, almost translucent which is their self lubricating form when aroused. It also tastes really sweet. They can get pregnant by alphas and betas but can't impregnate other omegas. Omegas have a really sweet, alluring scent but there are exceptions.
Heats: Omegas go into heats every 3 weeks for 5 days. In this point they have a high need to get mated and suffer from fevers and lower back pains. However the risk of getting pregnant is very high and if mated with an alpha, the probability of getting pregnant is a %99. Omegas can trigger an alpha to rut but betas are unaffected by this.
OTHER FACTS:
Scenting: All hybrids have scent glands on the neck, chin, wrists and intimate parts that release the pheromones. The scents may change depending on their emotions but can be controlled at will to soothe someone or send a warning. packs but mostly mates rub on each other to comfort but also to let others know the person is mated.
Marking: The neck is very important zone as it contains the scent glands and is the preferred spot for marking. When couples are ready to settle, they bite on the juncture of the neck and shoulders hard enough to draw blood, mixing their scent and a bond is formed. Is very important to consider when to take this step as any bonded mate may sink into deep depression and be at risk of dying if they're separated. forced bonds are pretty frowned upon and a high crime for that same risk.
Shifting: All hybrids have their human form they're born with and once they present, they can shift fully or partially into their animal form. The user can choose what features of the animal to show/use as they take use of those abilities. They could simply take their claws out to attack, change their eyes for a better vision, etc.
