Rules
- Reserves and Application Acceptance- If you reserve a character, it does not in any way guarantee that you will get the role, it just means that no one else will be accepted until we receive your application, or 24 hours has passed. Please, don’t reserve a character if you don’t plan on applying. Also, please do favorite this roleplay.
- Activity- If you apply for a role, you are expected to participate as that character at least 3-4 times a week. After a period of 5 days, if you haven’t messaged the admins beforehand, your character will be re-opened and you will have to re-audition. If you do expect to be gone for a longer period of time and you inform us of this, we’ll do our best to catch you up on anything you missed when you return.
- No OOC Drama, and Minimal OOC Talk On the Dash- OOC drama is not permitted in any way, shape, or form, and this includes harassing people anonymously through messages. To avoid filling up the dash, we will have a room for all other OOC talk. If you are having any problems with OOC drama, message the admin.
- IC Drama is Encouraged!- While we do want everyone to stick to the bios of their characters, there are no set ships, in this RP. There are relationships/crushes/etc. suggested in the bios, but essentially, it’s your character, and you develop them the way you feel is right. Plus, IC drama is what keeps things interesting. If you want drama ideas or plots for your character, message the admins- we’re always open to suggestions and will approve them if we think they are appropriate, and or we can help you brainstorm and give you ideas about potential character-drama.
- This Is A Mature Roleplay- There will be , bad language and themes, to the extent that storylines or certain characters require. That does not mean that there can be an abuse of these things- just make sure that whatever you do, it is IC for the bio of your character.
- Paras- If someone writes a long para, do not go off and respond with a short sentence back. Also, please don’t just para with the same people over and over, expand your horizons and your character’s connections and make sure to include everyone. If someone posts an open para, it should not be left without any responses.
- Absolutely No God-Moding- Remember that you control your character, and only your character- do not try to write for someone else, or give them background or personality traits that the player may not want them to have. Always be on the safe side, and check with the other RPer first. If you are para-ing and you plan to have some major development happen, make sure that you have outlined the general way it will come about with the person you are in the para with.
- Grammar- This may be a bit nit-picky, but please, try to write and role-play with good grammar, and proper capitalization and punctuation. No ‘text speak’ while IC, unless it is a text message that your character is sending. Keep in mind that in auditions, one of the major things we will be looking for in sample-paras is proper grammar, capitalization, punctuation, and spelling.
- Include Everyone- While it is understandable that your character may have a core group of friends or people they spend their time with, do not exclude anyone. The setting is a boarding school and most of the characters are supposed to know each other or at least be familiar, unless they’re freshmen who haven’t met anyone yet or newcomers. Just try to talk to as many people as you can, even if only every so often.
- With any questions, concerns, comments, etc. you can always message us!
