OK Now Imma break this down, but dw, I'll pick you back up again.
Everyone is unique, but no-one is special. Not really, we're all travelling on a tiny planet in an infinite universe and nothing we do or say really matters in the big scheme of things. But that's ok, because you can still matter to ONE person. You can matter in the small scheme of things. You can matter to you.
It doesn't have to be a bad thing that you're never going to be known across the universe or recognised for your genius. There is no misery this world hasn't seen already, your pain is not unique, and your joy isn't either.
That actually takes a LOT OF PRESSURE OFF YOU.
You don't need to be the best at anything, the greatest or famous. It doesn't matter. you just need to focus on you, and what matters to you, and what you value. That's what's important. Because once you're dead and gone, it'll only be a few generations before no-one remembers what you did with your life, so live it for you. Not your parents, not your friends, not for a general societal pressure.
Honestly everyone is too focused on themselves anyway, to remember you pulled or mistakes you made or things you said 6 years ago that still keep you up at night. Just let it go, it doesn't matter, they don't matter even if it did matter.
Personally I love my small group of people who matter to me, and I love the things I love with great intensity because I know they don't matter, but they matter to me. And idk, I'm kinda ok with that. I'm happy not mattering. in the big scheme of things.
