background: Meng jia is that girl that everyone admires and a few hates because of her outgoing and strong personality. Throughout her childhood, she had a wonderful life with her parents who are famous because her dad was a fashion photographer and her mom was a fashion model. Her parents inspired her so much, she always took pictures by her camera whatever she found captivating and even did dressed up with her mom. Nothing bad happened in her life until one day her mom died of a illness, breaking jia's heart into a million pieces for the first time in her life. Throughout the weeks of feeling sad, thanks to her father who never stopped cheering her up until she got better again. Being just her and her dad was great until one day her dad end up finding someone else he loved then soon married her who is now her stepmother and she also has a step sister too. Jia has tried her best to be nice to them especially her stepmother but regardless what she does and says, they continue to be mean towards her. Even while her dad was away because of his career, her stepmother will always try to make jia do lots of chores, not allowed to do such things she used to do (but she sneakily does it either way), and even clean ridiculous things all while her stepsister did not do anything but sat on her . While that is happening in her home, during her school life, she was smart because she makes good grades in her classes, was also in many school clubs, and made friends with every "clique" there was especially with teachers too while ignoring haters and bullies especially her stepsister. As for romance, her exes basically ruined it for her because they was all either cheaters or wanted to get close to her stepsister which is the reason why she stands clear away from romance throughout her high school era. Finally getting her diploma, she can finally make her future plans. Well of course something stopped her from doing that because her dad suddenly died of a heart attack. For months she stayed in her room just eating and drinking whatever her maid brings and just binge watching movies and shows because she felt like her life was over all while ignoring her friends and even her fam tree until one day her maid found something in her stepmom's office which was a letter from her dad. After reading it, suddenly all her feelings came like she felt happiness, sadness, and most of all anger. Finally getting out of her room for the first time, she marched to her stepmom and stepsister, telling her every single word she wanted to say to them for so long, she was finished in 10 minutes. In her dad's letter, he was telling her sorry for not being there for her because of his career and not believing in her because he finally saw her stepmother's true colors but most of all, he got her into her dream university that she always dreamt of going as a kid (even her parents went there) which was called "Ikigai". He gave her a big check to start her life on her own and even paid for the tuition. Finally feeling normal again, she packed everything she needed and left that hell of a house she lived in so quick, she only said "deuces, bishes!" to her no longer evil stepmother and step sister, not ever wanting to see them again. How did she get there to the university? Well she drove her car straight there without stopping except the gas stations. When she was finally there, she tried to smell and even taste the fresh air because this is her first time ever starting her life on her own. she wanted to make memories here by making new friends, going into clubs, doing whatever she wanted to do but couldn't, and maybe even finding romance again. She most of all wanted to make her dream come true of becoming a fashion photographer by walking the path until she finally gets there, not letting anyone or anything stop her.
personality: Meng jia is basically sweet, spice, and everything nice. She is a friendly and outgoing person so once you meet her, she'll talk to you right away but there is times when she has nothing to say too which her awkwardness shows. She has trust issues so it'll take her awhile to become very close with someone but it depends. She will only be bishy when someone is talking bad about her friends, her parents, and when she sees bullies bullying someone right in front of her. She also likes flirting but it depends on who. Basically as long as you treat her nicely, she will do the same.

background: she was a handful, a handful indeed, even her mother sworn— albeit nothing short of an exaggeration— that she had been in labor with doyeon for a good 48 hours. with little influence from the outside world, doyeon grew up as a peculiar child. for starters, she had always been the odd one out, being the tallest girl in her class (and sometimes academic year) through most of her life. she was often teased for her abnormal height and 'unusual' looks, not that she minded much, those silly rebukes and jabs always fell on deaf ears as far as she was concerned. her interest in volleyball sparked at the age of six, when she saw her father’s match in nationals on tv, in which his team took first place. because of her ridiculous height and natural gift for predicting blocks; her true passion and borderline obsession for the sport manifested during her first official practice match when with little effort she mercilessly blocked a spike. the spiker was drowning with confidence, thinking the ball would get through and the look of despair and anger that doyeon’s block elicited from the latter was delicious.

personality: often a lass that’s sardonic and loud, though a bit amiable, doyeon can be for lack of a better word, a little . she doesn’t have too many friends, hell, outside of her volleyball team she’s practically invisible to the rest of her peers. doyeon can often be seen as someone that is hard to approach, which isn’t always the case, she just enjoys teasing others and giving her unpopular opinion(s) on the matter at hand, she’s also very straightforward and usually the only times in her life where the goofy grin is nowhere to be found is when she’s on the court. she is, simply put, a super volleyball idiot and doesn’t have too many interests or hobbies outside the sport. truth be told, the only reason why she even bothered applying to university was because it would allow her to continue playing and facing off against stronger opponents. she’s not one that seeks recognition or praise, because she’s confident in her skills as a middle blocker, it may sound cynical but her purpose is to crush her opponents. doyeon has never failed to block a ball that comes her way in her entire volleyball career, and she doesn’t plan to let a spike slip past her anytime soon either.

personality : daniel grew up to be quite the social kind of person who knows how to halt his tongue and keep information to himself until such time it’d be useful to him. call him manipulative but he likes to believe he’s just good at calculating possibilities that can be of advantage to him. daniel is quite the social butterfly. known by everyone, knows everyone.

Background: Being at the top of the social hierarchy isn't as fun as you'd think it is. For Junmyeon, it was both heaven and hell. Being the son of a famous politician meant two things. Having the whole public's eyes on your every move and having extremely high expectations to reach. It was expected of him of excel at everything he does: sports, grades, work. His family was obsessed with keeping their so called 'perfect' image. So it was no surprise when his father decided for him that he should enroll in law school . Being sick of his family's manipulation of him, he decided to enroll in university abroad. He took on Medical Lab, and excelled at it like everything else. He was without a doubt a natural leader and soon became class president of med class . He was very popular. He hosted parties in his dorms every year. He started doing little favors here and there for the druggies. Then suddenly, it became his thing.

To some, Kim Junmyeon is the rich kid. He's the famous med class president. He's the person behind the biggest parties in university . He's also the fatherly figure that everyone respects and adores. To others, he's the guy you'd want to see if you need a 'medical' prescription. Need to let loose? Talk to Junmyeon, he'll prescribe something for you if you can pay the price.

Personality: Junmyeon is a very chill person. He's got the kind of personality that makes everybody instantly like him. He sees good in people. He likes to help out others, he's a total gentleman. That is, unless you get on his bad side. It takes a lot to get Junmyeon angry. He'd usually always keep a smile on his face. His parents and background are something he refuses to talk about. Some say he's a bit bipolar. He could be looking at you with the gentlest gaze and the next second he's got the coldest look in his eyes. He keeps track of everything people around him do - some confide in him and he keeps their secrets. However, mess with him and you can consider your life ruined.

• her emotions aren't easily hidden. a prime example being: every time she sees the imperfections of the world for humans, animals and the environment like it's a vice to her head. the pain builds inside her until anxiety takes her prisoner, with questions like 'how is she to change what she sees? what's the good of enlightenment if theres no way to make a difference?' mostly she's a compassionate and highly spirited persona, but her constant need to engage everyone in jokes and banter could at times inconvenience others, yet there are times when she has intelligent things to say and a maturity that can be unrivalled.

Background: A question Yura never knew the answer to herself was why she was raised by a single father without her mom ever in the picture. In fact, she was clueless to who her mother is. She was told bits and pieces by her father, but nothing to make it easy for her to find that woman. Though, Yura believed with her father and how he raised her, her mother likely wanted nothing to do with them. She tried not to be bitter and respect her mother's decision to not be in their lives. If it was her choice. She doubted she would ever get the whole story, for all she knew she could have half siblings, or even full siblings out there somewhere. A mother who maybe sometimes wondered about them.

Personality: The opinion of Yura varies from person to person. Some viewing her as an ambitious woman, entering a field that is dominantly male. While other's have viewed her spray can in hand returning from a graffiti session, something she was unable to fully give up on from her past. She was forced to grow up much faster than most kids, and that took its toll on her. Hence the notorious rep she had. Often found somewhere lighting up or with a bottle of beer and never against sharing regardless to who it was with. She's rough around the edges with a sharp tongue although past that she has loyalty rooted deep.

+ there was no memories or such on who were minghao's parents since the boy was abandoned at a very young age. his grandmother from his maternal side was the one who raised him, never did he wonder on his parents were, seemingly understanding the situation despite being just a child but it sparked up when he was bullied in school, other kids would joke around, about having no parents at all. what was wrong with it anyways? what's wrong with having no parents? the boy can't see reasons behind it, can't see why he needed parents to be considered as normal. he was satisfied despite it was only his grandmother that was with him, they were just two people but that doesn't make them less of a family.
minghao was a boy who will pick coloring books and crayons rather than actions figures and other toys, he likes to draw and color, that's how his interest in art had started and his grandmother knew that. she would always praise his artworks while he was working or when he was finished and was showing it to her, it was always the same adoring look that she gives to him, never once she was ever tired of him. minghao was very much determined to make her proud and take care of her once he grew up always saying "i will be the best artist that people will know!" but little did the boy knew that she'll soon pass away, not from old, but from an illness she didn't told minghao about. baking and cooking became an interest too since he helped out his grandmother a lot around the kitchen especially in their little bakery shop.
it was at age 17 when minghao's grandmother passed away and it was also when he learned about the identity of his parents but he didn't gave an interest too it, the grief of her leaving him soon enough overpowered him to even care about the people who was never present in his life. at age 17, he lost everything and felt nothing, but he pushed himself to find motivation in life, to go on and live. he still continued on with his dreams even if some have died and got buried along with grandmother, her words before death was stuck in him. "be soft, do not let the world make you hard. do not let pain make you hate, do not let the bitterness steal your sweetness." and that became his life motto ever since.

+ minghao grew up in sweetness and kindness, that's why he grew up being like that too. despite the struggles and pain that life has to over, he didn't changed one bit. he would help those in need even if those people won't help him back. he has no actual enemies but sometimes it can't be avoided that there are people who would hate or dislike you no matter what you do but minghao was the kind that would help his enemies out as well, not caring if people would take advantage of him. he's also the well balanced of an introvert and extrovert, no side is greater than the other.

! alyda grace had always been that one kid who was tethering the line between brilliant and insane. "alyda's setting the bushes on fire", "alyda, what are you doing up on the roof?", "alyda grace get back up here, you're not a dead body. you will be, though, if you don't get out of that hole in ten." were not rare words for her; in fact, these were some of the mildest ones. known for being as dangerous and as cunning as she was intelligent and quiet, her parents knew at the age of 6 that something was wrong with their daughter- and no one seemed to be able to find out what. she grew up as everyone expected her to: stealthy, yes, but wise. wiser than anyone her age, quicker to understand and fastest to develop among any of her peers. at age 14, she was already fluent in three languages, japanese included. at 16, she graduated high school- having accelerated two grade levels thus an early graduation. but of course, let's face it, no genius ever goes through a smooth ride in life. there always has to be that one cliche setback, and with alyda being a cliche genius, of course she has to have a cliche setback. throughout her years of living in 2 very different countries, she was only able to conclude one thing: schools hate chaotic prodigies with serious mental illnesses. the educational system hates them, the students hate them, the teachers hate them, everyone does- or at least, that's what her schizophrenia made her believe. before settling in japan for college, she was diagnosed with schizophrenia, or more specifically the rare schizoaffective disorder. it held the reigns to her speech, her actions, her thoughts- it gave other people a validation to call her a freak. but a girl like her, as cunning and brilliant as she is, never chose to settle for anything less. she couldn't care less about the damned illness, for she had dreams to accomplish and a future to build. ! alyda's whole persona, on an outwardly perspective, seems to be branded by three main attributes, namely chaotic, brilliant, and freaky. but, what seems to be the most ignored of her characteristics is also her biggest asset and worst enemy: her empathy. she'd never have picked politics and psychology if it wasnt her drive to bring others out of misery. often quiet and reserved, she's often seen with only a few to talk to and even fewer friends. alyda is a big fan of the arts and music, often even writing prose herself. one last and quite notable quirk about her is her inner fire and outer calm seas. almost as if mirrored by her blue eyes and red hair, alyda has an inextinguishable inner wall of flames and an impenetrable outer coating of oceans. she'd often be described by those who know her as a walking contradiction, as the devil and the angel themselves possessing one body. and with all the misconceptions about her, no one, and absolutely no one, will be able to find out the truth about her.

Lai Guanlin raised by a middle class family who's running underrated restaurant. Living from serving meals and chinese cuisine for people and community was such an enticing routine for his father and mother. Later on when he grew up and tall enough for kitchen counter, Guan learnt that cooking wasn't meant for him. He enjoyed and cherished his parents cooking's but he can't find himself settle at something. And up till this moment he just simply a lost person who happens to passed preliminary test and spend time awake at faculty.

He's like a hyde and jekyll in one body. There are Guanlin with etiquette, knowledge, good speaking skills, sleek hair, and aesthete. This one capable to convincing you into drug use as if its a pure medical purposes. And there are this punks who wake up at 7.55 and present in class at 8.00 , bed hair, grunge blasted, dark outfit and saying bull like "I could have die and nobody cares."

bg: what can you say about jaehyun? regular boy from a regular family, thats what he told people all the time. truth to be told there is something he's ashamed of: his biological father, who left the family years ago after getting in trouble after becoming bankrupt. his mother somehow managed to create her own business and give her only son education. he was more than thankful to his mother, which was literally his hero. the young boy found himself interested in universal literature, beside the fact he was practising sports even since the elementary school.
personality: as expected, being love deprived by one parent, jaehyun grew up traumatized. he doesn't trusts people and is super picky with who he lets approach him. nobody will know more about him if he doesn't wants to, he's pretty much secretive, but it never stopped him to build a conversation. as the years passed, he started to open up, and still will never tell about his past and family problems.

Background: Ever since he could remember, Jaemin has seen the world through a pair of rose colored glasses. Being born with a silver spoon in his mouth, Jaemin never realized how blessed he truly was. His parents, happily married, only had him, an only child, and for the reason he was cherished and spoiled. Jaemin’s childhood was perfect, maybe a little too perfect.

As time went by, his family status undoubtedly went to his head, he would flaunt his wealth and look upon those who weren’t as fortunate as him, not realizing it was all down in the hands of luck. But looking back he wasn’t proud of doing so. His life has been a peaceful ride on a spotless road, but it was too good to be true. Soon after he turned seventeen, his father’s company has been sued for tax evasion and from that moment on his family’s pristine life started tumbling down. After being sentenced to 15 years in prison, his father attempted suicide. Jaemin couldn’t even be happy he survived after seeing how broken his mother was in result.

But despite everything, Jaemin kept a smile on his face, kept going, not just for himself but for his mother too. He didn’t let anyone see through his fake smiles, didn’t let anyone know he was broken, didn’t let anyone see the tears he shed. Money was starting to run out and the plan’s for Jaemin’s future weren’t so bright anymore, the saving they had for his education weren’t the priority anymore. He worked hard to get into the university of his dreams, but his dream slipped right through his fingers and he was left with no much choice but to settle for an alternative.

Personality: At first glance most people would think of Jaemin as a (an overly) confident young man, assertive and bold, uncaring what people think of him. He might come off as conceited, snobbish, even cold, but those close to him would tell you otherwise. He’s your typical cold on the outside warm on the inside type of guy who may or might not care a lot more than he lets out. You might think you know him well but he’s full of surprises and one can never truly know what is going through the secretive depth of his mind.
