Jiyong + Hyori

  • Holding her letter and the stroller on her other hand, Hyori hesitated on knocking on Jiyong's door. It was late night yesterday when she received the sudden call. She can't leave when she sees him. She knows it so she decided to make a letter and just knock, slip it inside his room and let him read it.

    Ji,
I don't want to make this long but I think I would fail doing so. My parents called me yesterday, and... I have to go to America. I will study there abroad and fulfill my career that my parents has set for me already. The call was abrupt. And I had to leave the next day, which is today.

I hope you won't forget me. As I write this letter, please always remember the Hyori that will always love you. I will always remember the first time we met. And our confession towards each other. Our fight against Boa, our moments, our love. You are a good person and you have a lot of potential in you (especially in music) but you are smart too. I'm sorry for hurting you that one time I cheated. I've regretted it so badly. And now... I'm going to hurt you again. I'm sorry, I hope you forgive me. Our dreams of being together would always be there in my heart. I will never ever replace you in my heart.

    I love you
    Please be happy.

Forever and will always be your,
    Hyori

Lee Hyori P.S. There's a gift outside. I made Apple Pie and left you a stuff toy that I made yesterday after receiving the call. When you hug Hyoji (its her name), always remember me hugging you. I poured all my love that I have for you in her. Again, I love you. I love you always and forever.

Kwon Jiyong Deep in his study, he heard Gaho lifting up his head and out of curiousity. Letting Gaho out, wondering maybe he heard a bug or the janitor. Making his way to the bed again, and as soon he lifted the book. Gaho jumped in his lap, holding a folded paper? "What is this?" He opened it up slowly as Gaho whimpered as if sensing something bad.

Slowly the grip on the crisp paper tightened, his eyes steady on the words as his face remained stotic. Nothing on his mind, but slowly he heard a crashing noise. Like a crack, at each word the noise doubled over before there was nothing left. Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes. Unsure how to react.

      Cry? No he couldn't...
      Scream? Never.
Trash? He took a deeper breath as he looked at Gaho, and without knowing. Tears unconciously fell from his eyes as he tried to force a smile on his lips. But it was impossible, this pain was by far worse. It hurt him so deep, cutted him like never before. And as he let the letter slip between his fingers, he took it all out. Gaho jumped off the bed, as Jiyong became a wreck. Grabbing the vase in his room, throwing it on the groujd having the pieces fly about. He didn't give a if anyone heard him. Nor did he care if his roommate pissed off, nothing mattered to him in his life.

Feathers from the pillow fluttered about, glass and clay shattered. Tears spilled and blood sprinkled, he was numb. His eyes dull and lifeless as each memory replayed in his mind, the most recent was his birthday and it tore him up. He cried, letting it all out. Crying and called her name out as his heart broke at every sound.

He slowly felt his heart break. Slowly he felt his life leave him, as numbness replaced his body. He lost her, his baby. His heaven...

Lee Hyori She moved away from the door when she heard shuffling of small footsteps. She guessed that it was Gaho. Seeing the paper slip in completely inside, she knew that he would be able to read it anytime. She stayed beside the door, sitting, ready to hear whatever he will do.

Breathing heavily, she mentally prepared herself for this. All those tears yesterday, crying because of that one call that will separate them, she was feeling numb. She was getting numb every time she would remember that she will be gone. He will be gone.

      Then it started.

Crashing, shouting and crying. Everything felt painful. She can hear her name in between his painful crying and she could swear that she knows he's hurting himself. She wanted to go inside so badly, but she couldn't. Going inside would even be more painful for both of them.

Instead, she cried. She cried so hard. Hearing him in pain again hurt her more than anything else. Their memories. Their first meeting. Their confession. The apartment. The ice cream parlor. His car. Gaho. The mall. His face. His warmth. His love. Everything that's him.

It flooded her mind and she covered , stopping herself from crying loudly as he might hear her. Her eyes that were still puffy from yesterday, became red again and hot tears fell on her cheeks. She gripped her hair, biting her lip and swinging back and forth, trying to comfort herself. It's over. It will be over.

Kwon Jiyong His vision blurred as he stumbled upon the items he destroyed. Eyes wet, he held tears back but they burned to be release and he released them. Looking for the letter, his hands frantically searched for it. Throwing whatever got in his way to the side, slowly he found it as he slide on the ground surrounded by feathers and glass. His body felt nothing as they pricked him, he only had his memories left of her and this letter along with the gifts.

"I love you, baby." He whispered, holding the letter to his chest. He gripped the glass beneath him tightly as he crinkled the letter. He held his eyes closed as Gaho left the room, his nose lead him back to the door. But he didn't follow, as he heard him whimpering.

"Baby girl, look what you're doing to me." He whispered, "I need you, right here." He choked out, as he hung his head and silently cried more. "Please, baby..." His voice weakened.

Without knowing from the pain, tears and everything; sleep took him captive. He breathed shakily as he slowly mumbled her name in the sleep. Hokding tightly the letter as lone tears fell from his eyes. He knew he'd never be the same, never.

"Hyori... B- baby..." Where the words he whispered, he slept and dreamt this was all a nightmare. One he wished was fake and not real.

Lee Hyori She heard throwing subside and his footsteps brushed the floor that she heard was full of glass now. Her crying subsided too, as she tried to remain quiet. She knew Gaho heard her and for some reason, Ji knew she was there too.

      But she couldn't show
up. She can't bear Jiyong to cry in front of her and beg her to stay. Because she can't stay. She looked around, trying to find an escape route but she couldn't. Everything lead back to him.

Silence filled the whole floor and she slowly opened the door. Seeing him lying on the glass-filled floor, she gasped as she saw the bruises and wounds on his face and hands. Crying silently, as she had a hand on , she kneeled beside him. Not noticing the pain that the glass gave to her knees, she brushed his bangs.

Looking to the other side of the room, she saw that TOP's bed was still a little clean and sleep-able. She didn't know how she was able to do it but she carried him there, taking off the glass that stuck to Jiyong's shirt. She started to mend his wounds, clean his body and the room itself.

When she was done, she went back to his side. Kissing his forehead with tears that continued to drop the whole time, "I love you. I won't find another one like you are. And I wouldn't try to find another one. I am yours forever." She choked a tear and hesitated. Finally she kissed him one last goodbye.

Gaho whimpered to her side as she went towards the door but she shushed him. Kneeling down to the dog, she forced a smile and patted his head. "Take care of him for me, okay?" She took the apple pie and stuffed toy inside. The apple pie inside the refrigerator and the stuff toy beside Jiyong.

"One last..." She thought. Then she found herself kissing him again, as her tears fell on his face. She wiped them quickly. "I'm sorry... please be happy." Then, she went to the door, wiping her tear and forcing a smile before finally leaving the school.
