Kwon Jiyong His eyes widen when Key showed him the survillance cameras, he saw how she inflicted damage upon her body. Guilt began to drown into him as he rushed out the Head office and ran down the hallway. Pushing through the students, ignoring those who called out to him. His focus was Kahi. His noona, as he reached the door to her dorm room.
Locked
" it!" He cursed under his breath as he tugged on the door knob, "Kahi!" He said her name, she never have done things like this and it worried him so much. "Noona!!" He shouted louder for her to hear as he felt himself panic. -
Park Kahi Severe hypothermia began to settle onto her body. Sleepy, drifting in and out of consciousness from the blood loss, Kahi weakly turned her head towards the door. She recognized the voice, but was sure it was just her mind playing with her.
Slowly pushing herself up from the bloody water, she stumbled to the door and opened the door just a small crack. Her vision was fuzzy and she didn't know who it was, but she looked at the person with half-lidded eyes as she swayed back and forth. "Please g-go away...I'm fi-ine..." She responded, unsteady, to whoever was at her door. -
Kwon Jiyong His eyes widen at her state, opening the dorm more open as he walked inside. Catching her in his arms, his heart squeezed at her sight. His hand gently caressed the side of her face as he lifted her up in his arms. Shutting the door behind him, he invited himself in and felt how cold she was. "Dammit, noona what are you doing to yourself?!" He hissed, but it was only his worry talking so harshily. Once inside her room, he laid her on the bed. Quickly wrapping her up in the warmest blankets he could find, holding her in his arms as he d her face. "Noona, why? Why are you doing this, its not you." He whispered, holding her closer.
-
Park Kahi Kahi felt the door being pushed open and the next thing she knew, she was falling; only to not hit the floor. Her brows furrowed and her eyes barely able to open, she looked up into the face of the person, but it was all too blurry. "W...who?" She stammered, her voice quiet and weak. Only one person really called her 'Noona', but she was in disbelief. "Who are you? I told you I-I'm fine..." Kahi protested and tried to push the person off of her, only to be disappointed by the lack of strength she had.
-
Kwon Jiyong "Kahi you are not fine, look at yourself." He tsked, keeping her in his hold as he softly brushed back the wet strands of her hair. Every part he touched was cold, what had she done to herself? Was it because of him, because Hyori came back? Guilt gutted him roughly, "Its me, Jiyong. Remember?" He kissed her forehead, flinching at her cold skin. "Your hurting me, when you hurt youself. Noona," he trailed off as he cupped her face between his right palm. Stroking his thumb over her cheek, "I'll take care of you, j- just rest. Okay?" He whispered, loud enough for her to hear as he kissed her cheek and forehead, before he pecked her smooth lips.
-
Park Kahi Kahi could make out the smoothness of his lips on her cold skin, and it took her a while to remember when he said his name. "Ji...?" She tried opening her eyes more. "I can take care of mys-self, you can leave." She protested yet again, despite her efforts. Realization hit her and she realized how cold she was. Her senses were slowly coming back to her and she tightened the blankets around her. "It's so...s-so cold in here..." Kahi mumbled to herself, confusion contorting her face.
-
Kwon Jiyong "No time to be supergirl, Kahi." He sighed, as she said it was cold. His hands rubbed up and down her covered body, hoping to increase the friction and heat upon her body. Keeping her body tucked against his own, grabbing her icy hands and blowing hot air on her skin. He was scared seeing her like this, "It'll get warm soon, love. Okay." He assured her, having his body join her own under the sheets knowing his body heat envelope her bare cold body. Keeping their bodies under the blankets, doing all he could to warm her up. His body was a lot warmer than hers now, and he fought the flinching his body did when her cold skin touched his. "I'm here, I won't go." He whispered to her.
-
Park Kahi Kahi lay there as Jiyong warmed her, his body embracing hers. "Ani...Aniyo...You're busy. The new students...Hyori...JiEun..." She mumbled, fighting the sleep she knew could be deadly if she gave in. She tried to stay awake. Kahi could no longer feel the pain from the burn on her neck, and the blood had stopped flowing from how cold she had allowed herself to become. She listened to his heartbeat; normal and in beat; which was so different from hers; slow and irregular. Kahi let out a brief chuckle, "I'm foolish, aren't I?" She asked, with more of a rhetorical purpose, her memory slowly fading back to her.
-
Kwon Jiyong "No, no no. Please, Kahi. Right now /your/ important, I'll get you better okay?" He held her tighter, he noticed she was a little warm but not enough. He needed more heat, he needed to get her temperature higher and fast. Lifting her up as he went to the portable heater installed in every dorm, he turnedbit up to level nine. Sitting beside the heater as he kept their bodies together. "Noona, I am going kill myself if you die. I promise you," he whispered as his voice trembled. Keeping her in his arms, softly he rocked her back and fourth. "Please, stay. You promised me, remember? You said, you'd always be here for me." His voice wavered, he was scared to lose her. Terrified. Kissing every part of her face, he said her name over and over. He needed her with him, he was selfish. But he was afraid of losing her this way, "Stay for me, like you always do." He begged.
-
Park Kahi In Kahi's state, she couldn't produce tears. Her body was just out of the normal that it couldn't function to do just that, a simple, mindless reaction. But if she could, there'd be tears flowing right then and there as she heard his words. "Hey...hey, hey, hey, hey, hey..." She lifted a weak, trembling hand and playfully pushed his forehead as if she were taunting a child, "I'm right here, aren't I?" The corner of her lips tugged up into a playful smile. "I'm right here, Jiyong..." Kahi repeated, the urge to shut her eyes growing stronger. "I'm not leaving you, I promised." She repeated his words, her eyebrows knitting together as her nerves began to work properly again, the pain from her self-inflicted injuries starting to make their presence clear.
-
Kwon Jiyong "Why did you hurt yourself? Tell me, please." He said looking down at her with tear rimmed eyes, he was holding back his tears. But he knew they fell silently without him knowing as he watched her, gently he pressed his lips upon hers. Trembling slightly as he kept her near his body, holding her to him and never letting go. Has he grown that attached to her? And he is barely realizing how much she impacted his life, right now all he wished was for her safety. She wasn't right now, "You burned yourself, and blood is dried up on your skin. Noona, why?" He begged her.
-
Park Kahi Kahi felt his lips against hers and watched the tears fall from his eyes. Reaching up one hand, surely but weakly, Kahi rested her hand on his face. "Please don't cry..." She pleaded witha heavy heart. Look what she did. She caused the only person she really cared about, pain. And what could she tell him? Why did she do it? Jiyong was never just hers to begin with. "Baby, please don't cry," Kahi pleaded again, this time more softly.
-
Kwon Jiyong He held her to his body, burying his face in the crook of her neck. Yes, he cried. Why? Because he cares for her a lot and he knew it all along, he never wanted to hurt her. Never. "Please don't hurt yourself no more, okay? Please." He whispered, hugging her tightly. Gently placing a small kiss on her jaw, her chin and finally her lips. "You mean so, so much to me." He tokd her, sincerely. It was true, not a lie.
-
Park Kahi Kahi managed to sit up and wrap thr blanket around her and picked his face up, wiping away his tears gently. "I won't, I won't. Ji, please..." She felt choke up with tears. "I'm sorry, please don't cry anymore." Kahi tried her best to be strong as she kissed his forehead before holding him close. "I'm sorry, baby..." She cried silently whilst kissing his temple softly as she held him. She was being selfish; now and when she hurt herself. Kahi was ashamed at herself, for making things harder for him than they already were.
-
Kwon Jiyong Hearing her crying, he hugged her gently in his arms. Embracing her as he gave chaste kisses on her cheeks, his arms holding her more by the waist. "I'm sorry, Kahi. Its my fault your like this, I hurt you." His voicr whispered, he knee she heard him. "Noona, I really did love you. I really did, but it wasn't what you deserved." He confessed, as he pulled back to cup her face gently between his hands. Craddling it, "I never wanted to hurt you, but you showed me a different love. I am thankful to you, I love you, noona." He kissed her cheek, "Its just not as much as you deserve." Jiyong whispered, before softly kissing her on her lips. He savored the moment so much, it hurt him.
-
Park Kahi Kahi shook her head out of his grip, she knew this too long ago. "I told you when we first got into this... I knew she wouldn't budge from your heart. Remember the other night, where you told me about Hyori's arrival? I tried to let you go then, but at the last minute, I couldn't." Kahi moved some of her wet hair and referred to the burn on her neck. "I thoughr I could erase you by this..." She chuckled bitterly, the tattoo destroyed by the damaged skin.
"I don't hate you, I couldn't. I just want you to leave me - completely. Forget me. Even if we see each other in the halls, class - ignore me. Act as if we were just left as childhood friends." Kahi explained through tears, holding the most fake smile she could, though it faltered and broke as she buried her hands in her face and cried. She couldn't fake anything right now anymore, the only thing on her mind was Jiyong's happiness. The only thing on her mind was him and what he wanted.
"I know you're concerned for me, but don't be. I'll be one less thing to worry about." She reached for his hand, her tears unable to slow down or stop. -
Kwon Jiyong Grabbing her hand as his eyes finally noticed the skin, defected and damaged. Kissing her knuckles, he shook his head disagreeing to everything she said. Jiyong looked at her, "Noona, I am not going to ignore you. Never, I care for you so much." His eyes, searching her own as if looking for something. Hoping to find it, "Believe it or not, the time we spent I cherish it. So I'm not going to act like it never happened, because it did happen. And I liked being with you, don't you get it?" He said, cupping her face as he kissed her forehead. "I'll still love my noona, she is in my heart. Forever, don't forget that okay?" He whispered against her forehead, before resting his own against hers as he gave her a soft smile. "Don't be afraid to come to me, just to say hi. I will bothrr you as well, just because Hyori is here doesn't mean yoir forgotten." He said, kissing the tip of her nose.
-
Park Kahi Kahi got up and walked slowly to the bloody bathtub, her body still just a tad bit weak from the damage she'd done. Reaching down into the dark red, cold water of the tub, she fished out the necklace and stood in the doorway of the bathroom, staring at the necklace with no emotion, she was just drained. Her skin still so pale, tears still falling, she cleared . "This isn't mine." She slowly, nearly stumbled, over to Jiyong. "Give it to her." She gave a small smile, not having enough heart to look at him at all. "You made me a very happy woman, I can't deny that. I also can't deny that you're not rightfully mine." Each word, though true, made her heart throb painfully, but she had to do this.
-
Kwon Jiyong His eyes fell to thr necklace, and his stomach sank. Wrapping his hand around her own, closing her palm with the necklace as he shook his head. "No, this belongs to you. I bought it with you in mind," he opened her palm to turn the heart over as his fingers grazed over the words engraved into the silver. He read them aloud, "Never will I find a girl just like you, Kahi." He said, "Its yours." He pushed her hand with the heart to her chest, a small smile on his lips as he looked down. Taking a deep breath as he looked up at her, "Thank you for always being there for me, for putting up with me. Thank you, noona." He leaned over to kiss her cheek softly and slowly before pulling back. "This is where we end, huh?" He asked her, "I wish I could make me heart love you. I'd everything to make it forever yours," he bit his lower lip. "Sorry, and thank you." He took a small step back, "Get some rest, okay. Stay under the blankets," he drifted his eyes to the bed and trailed them back to her.
-
Park Kahi Kahi stood there, stone faced. She honestly couldn't bear to look at Jiyong. "Don't be sorry. You can't force feelings...especially love." She half-smiled at the floor. Upon hearing the words, 'this is where we end', she flinched. She honestly didn't think she'd be so affected by it. Kahi nodded at his suggestions and secretly waited for him to leave so she could have her moment. Speaking lowly, nearly inaudible, "Goodbye, Jiyong." Kahi still didn't look at him. It's not that she didn't want to, but because she couldn't. She couldn't process what was going on right then and there. And as he finally left her room, Kahi sank to her knees and sobbed hard, the sound muffled by her hands just in case he should hear. Kahi let it all out after years and years of holding it in, and her chest hurt from the lack of air she was allowing herself to recieve. She felt stupid for allowing herself to.believe such a thing existed for her. For believing life was full of happy endings. For simply having hope. Getting up with the blanket still wrapped around her torso, Kahi reached for a vase and threw it, loudly and messily shattering the glass all over her room. Exhausted from her emotions and the physical damage she'd done, Kahi sank back into her bed and cried the rest of the night until she eventually fell asleep. She'd be alright tomorrow.
[The end. ㅠ-ㅠ lol] -
