Honestly, this was going to be a lot more directed at people, a lot more harsh,
but honestly I've cooled down.
This is for those people who have never been an admin, or at least one that has planned something.
You have no idea what admins or mods or co-admins go thorugh. I have been an admin for a discord server, a mod for a minecraft server, and a co-admin two different times on here.
I've delt with huge projects, huge plans, saw how excited it made other people, and then one person always comes along to ruin it.
I'm sorry if one little aspect makes it unenjoyable for you....
but that doesn't mean you can tear people down. It is not the admin's job to make you happy. A well plan out events only happen when admins are excited for what they are presented. Some Admins work really hard, so when you say hurtful stuff about the event of course they are going to get deffensive or tell you to knock it off. Even if its a joke, its insensitive.
If you do not know how hard it is to be an admin, the hateful comments the oh they could do so and so better, or even the criticism on something they worked so hard to put out, you have no right to say anything about it.
And if you do, well if you say like that to other admins you're just an , end of story.
Admins are there to keep the peace, meaning they take the full force of drama. They are the ones who have to step in, and it is never an easy job. They are the ones who have to decide the punishment.
Cut them some slack.
And if its because of a valentines day event? Remember - there's more types of love then that between lovers and if you can't understand that I feel sorry for you.
