yes the rp has been open for roughly two days and i'm already getting a second what about it

what is up my dudes, do you happen to be looking for a place to flex your crusty writing brain? well look no further, because house of cards is the place for you! if any of you were peeking at the royal rp gilded, then you're in luck because this is basically its season 2 ! (except it's not related in anyway whatsoever and kind of just employs the same activity-heavy events-based system which is why we call it s2) house of cards is a mafia / high society / royal hybrid au in which you can choose to be a member of the mafia, one of the elite members of society, or even a neutral character so ~ go crazy ~ with the character ideas ! (but not too crazy, we r trying to b realistic here)

REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN:

1. it's a very encouraging place, and i feel like a lot of members have grown as writers so if you want to improve your writing style, why not match yourself against the wits of big brainers like hoc members !
2. honestly if youre bored as then this is a great place to be, because it's activity-heavy so you can spend your time procrastinating writing your profiles and threads and texting random to other characters for fun !
3. do you ever feel like you want more from your character? like, you want to see how much they can grow and develop? well good for u, because thanks to a plotline that the hoc admins so brilliantly brainstormed, there are a lot of factors that can make ~ character development ~ so you won't have to worry about anything feeling stagnant!
4. it's been open for approximately two days, so do you know what that means? that's right, it means plenty of time to assimilate yourself into the group and build connections with other characters (since it is quite a connection based rp) ! if you're having a hard time thinking of appropriate characters, the admins have also made a public rp where you can talk to the members and work on making a suitable character idea! (side note: to join hoc, you have to either be one of the admins' friends, or add the account jokers. this is to prevent any toxic users from entering the rp, because believe me, we had a lot of experiences with those xD admins also reserve the right not to accept your friend request!)
5. i mean why not just join haha c mafia royalty xD warring sides conflict pew pew brain go brr
6. there's so many people to simp for u can basically simp for almost the entire rp their characters are really simpable too shoutout to my ex wife and my little sister, i was gonna include more but then i'd probably have to name all of the charas in the rp so maybe next time
7. come and spend new year's with us teehee ! we're a friendly bunch if you're not toxic, and we encourage writing all the time ! (maybe not all the time since we procrastinate replies together but you know what i mean)

i was gonna post my connections that i wanted taken too but ... they are Quite Long and idk if anyone wants to sit through me rambling about my characters when i've basically already rambled about this damn beautiful enjoyable rp for like 500 words now. so anyway ! if you would like to plot with a psychopathic mafia executive that doesn't know what feelings are, or an assassin going through an existential crisis, then hit me up! after gilded, i wanted to step out of my comfort zone and write with new people so if you want to be one of those new people then hello ! nice to meet u ! i am babie ! pls plot w me ! and join us for the crazy ride we're about to take with house of cards !
