ΊΡΙΔΑ (EE-REE-DA) / IRIS
the modern greek word "irida" comes from Iris, the personification of the rainbow messenger of the gods. according to legend, she had beautiful wings and a coat of many colors, which would create rainbows as she travelled, carrying messages from the gods of Mount Olympus to Earth. her name later gave the meaning to the word "rainbow" in ancient Greek, which the english term "iridescent" derives.。。

APOLLO'S DIARY
It is day... who knows... away from home and I still have no ability to adjust to what I presume to be "human life". Although it seems my opinion doesn't quite matter here as it does at home, I can thoroughly recognize how agonizing it is to be in hiding. Each person I pass, I find myself pondering the possibilities of it even being one of my own. A friend, a sibling -- lover, even. Even the greatest war couldn't have prepared me for something like this。
To those inquiring, I go by the name Francesco Ricci. How odd, no? I don't really know where it came from, either. I find myself recently lured to the pier where the music comforts me. I miss home more frequently these days 。
PS. I find that the instruction "use of your power is strictly prohibited" is quite the invasion of our privacy and rights, and I struggle with doing so. I wonder what the consequences would be, or even how anyone would know。
