fc: seo kangjoon

occupation: undercover detective currently infiltrating the ranks of a well known organized crime syndicate in korea. 

background: was once an essential member of the government's crime sector, but they left their job 5+ years ago (can be changed). why? for you. kangjoon was never the type to full heartedly believe in the soulmate system nor believe in fate and destiny. so it didn't bother him that you weren't his soulmate because he truly loved you enough to leave his life behind. and now you could breathe knowing that your s.o. would come back home safe and sound instead of wondering whether you would recieve a call that night annoucing his death on a case. your blood pressure now lowered, life couldn't be sweeter, but last month he got a call from his old job saying that they needed someone of his skill and seniority experience for a case. his mission? to kill the head boss of the syndicate. but assassination is never easy and he still first needed to earn her trust to get the perfect chance so it wasn't going to be a short case. after considering all the options with you, it was decided that kangjoon would return to the scene one last time disguised as the boss' newest security detail. even though the idea of sending him back made you anxious, after seeing how excited he looked to return to his old job, you couldn't say no, and as soon as he was done, he promised that he would be all yours for the rest of time. 

okay so here's where the plot comes in

you always assumed that the worse case scenario would be losing kangjoon when he was on the job, but to a bullet, or the hands of a criminal, never another woman's heart. mizuhara kiko, the mastermind behind one of the nation's largest gang and also kangjoon's fated soulmate. yes i am going for a enemies to lovers trope sue me. the first few weeks, when he gets the chance to come home to you, kangjoon would always badmouth the cold leader before knocking out in deep sleep in your arms. but time can thaw the coldest of hearts. rising feelings will leave in conflicted and confused, and in the end he'll do the last thing he had ever thought he would do: choose his soulmate. yes i want a breakup plot pls you can slap my character or let my chara hold yours tightly just one last time before leaving you all alone in the home the two of them had shared for years before returning to the world he had always belonged in like PLEASE.
