The day has finally come and with each creaking of the wooden wheels beneath your carriage, you know that you are drawing closer to your destination; the famed Aurai Academy. A mixture of emotions swirls through your heart and mind at what such a place might mean to you. It is a school, a training ground for the best and brightest soldiers meant to defend your homeland from a war that you’ve maybe only heard about at fireside tales and now you are there. Or maybe you are a battle-hardened veteran of the shadow-war, the series of skirmishes that takes place at the borders as your enemies continue to try and break through not only the barrier but the line of soldiers there to watch over it. Possibly neither and you are something else entirely, not sure how you can help in the fighting at all. Whatever the case, you are almost there and you gather yourself as you hear your driver shout to the gates to open up. It is time for you to take your place at Aurai Academy.
